“I’m so happy that we had Sara come to take care of our two indoor cats, and also the outdoor neighborhood cats. She was prompt, thorough, and dependable. She made sure my furbabies had everything they needed including lots of love. She gave me peace of mind that they would be well cared for while were we away for a few days. Highly recommend and we will definitely book her again. Thank you, Sara!”

“Katie did a phenomenal job! My dog Kale is very particular but he loved Katie from the get go. She provided a ton of pictures and detailed descriptions of each visit and really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend her and she will definitely be my first call whenever I need a sitter again. Can’t say enough good things!”
“Melissa was outstanding with Luna!! We had a meet-and-greet before our first day to make sure Luna was comfortable. She immediately gravitated to Melissa, who was diligent in asking questions and making sure she would be as prepared as possible. Melissa was a fantastic communicator, quick to respond and provided amazing updates with lots of great pictures! We will absolutely be working with Melissa again and have already requested her for another visit for Luna!”

About: I have cared for both cats and dogs my entire life and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. As a fully online student, I have a very flexible schedule and can easily work pet care into my daily routine. I’m especially flexible with house sitting and can accommodate different schedules and routines. For check-ins and visits, I typically prefer times between 8 AM and 9 PM, as I generally avoid very early mornings and late nights. I’m happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that works best for everyone! I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I follow each pet’s individual routine and care instructions, including feeding, walks, medication, and playtime when needed. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same care and respect I would my own. I provide plenty of attention, keep pets in a safe environment, and communicate with owners so they can feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

About: I’ve had my own cats since I was 9 years old, as well as my families dog that I would frequently take on walks and watch while my parents were at work when I’m back in town. Growing up I was always the go-to pet sitter for my cul-de-sac as pretty much everyone me knew how much I loved animals. Nowadays I help out my friends with their pets when they need it (cats, dogs, fish, and reptiles of various ages). I am a quick learner and always aim to make sure the animals feels as safe and comfortable as possible. I am currently a full time student, however I still have plenty of time to take care of your animals. I am available Friday-Sunday most weeks, before 11am or after 2pm on Tuesdays/Thursdays, and before 11am or after 5pm on Monday/Wednesday. My schedule is also very flexible if we need to work something out! I unfortunately am unable to keep animals at my residence, but I am more than happy to come by your place and recreate your typical care schedule!

“Madeline was exactly the right person to take care of our pups! I am SO HAPPY my friend's advice to use Rover brought Madeline to our home. I had ZERO worries about the dogs while we were busy with our daughter's wedding events. We have a 6yr old "Forever Puppy" and a 12 yr old elder dog and they both had their individual needs met, they loved Madeline!”

“Awesome Sitter! Austin is top tier! From the pre-visit when he took time to get to know Benny before the schedule visits and how well they bonded, I was sure he would be the right choice. Austin helped reassure Neal and I about Benny care with photos and texts before, during and after each visit. This was something that had been lacking in previous pet care givers. I never had to worry and Austin quickly replied to any question of Benny’s care because this was Benny’s first Rover experience. Needless to say, we were not let down on any level of care. Thank you Austin. Now I truly know why you are so sought after in the pet care arena!”

“Super communicative and so easy to work with! Went above and beyond for my old lady baby. As long as he’s available, Cameron is the only one I’d book for future visits.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
