“I recently booked Brandy and couldn’t be happier. She scheduled a meet & greet first so my two fur babies could feel safe with her, which I really appreciated. She’s always on time, friendly, and you can tell she truly loves my pets by how she interacts with them. I’ve already booked her again and will keep using her. If you want someone reliable and caring, definitely choose Brandy!”

“Michelle is amazing! Can't believe we lucked out as she was the first time we had used this app. Our pup was very comfortable with Michelle and they get along so well. Michelle will continue to be our go-to moving forward!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had dogs and cats in my home. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily routine, from feeding and walks to playtime and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, and providing attentive care so pets feel relaxed and secure in their home environment. Because I work remotely, I’m able to spend a lot of time at home with pets and give them plenty of companionship throughout the day. I’m best suited for pets who enjoy a calm environment and are comfortable relaxing in the home while I work. My goal is always to treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable while they’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. Because I work remotely, I’m able to spend a lot of time at home and provide consistent care and companionship throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate regular feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and playtime while making sure pets stay comfortable in their usual routine. I do work remotely and will most likely have occasional virtual meetings during the day, but I remain present in the home and attentive to the pets in my care. I prioritize a calm, safe, and structured environment for every pet I care for. I always follow the pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime so they feel comfortable in their environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and make sure pets receive attentive care, supervision, and plenty of companionship while their owners are away.

I have a Goldendoodle and pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I love being outdoors, so walks and playtime fit right into my routine. About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we always had pets in the house, two family dogs and a cat, so caring for animals just became a normal part of life for me. That’s really where my love for them started. Now I have my own dog, a Goldendoodle named Arlo, who is the sweetest boy and basically my shadow. Taking care of him every day has taught me even more about patience, routines, and how different every dog’s personality can be. When I’m caring for your pets, I treat them like I do my own. I take the time to really get to know them, make sure they feel safe with me, and give them the attention they need. Whether that’s a walk, playtime, or just some calm company, I’m happy to match their energy and what they’re most comfortable with. I’m very comfortable around all types of dogs and I’m good at reading their behavior and adjusting to their needs. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels cared for, relaxed, and happy while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I am currently taking a gap year while completing online courses, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I am available most days and can accommodate walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I also have availability on some weekends and am happy to work with your pet’s needs whenever possible. Because my schedule is open and flexible, I can often provide consistent care, last-minute bookings, and dependable availability. Safety and trust are really important to me when caring for pets in your home. I always follow your instructions closely so your pet can stick to their normal routine and feel comfortable. I take time to build trust with each animal and make sure they feel safe with me. During walks and drop-ins, I stay attentive and focused on their behavior and surroundings at all times. I also respect your home and always leave things as I found them. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy and cared for, and that you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: Hello! I have over 15 years experience training and caring for dogs. I have previously volunteered at the animal shelter where I helped train, walk and keep company of the animals boarded. I have also grown up with at least 1 dog in the house my entire life. I have basic training abilities (sit, stay, come, shake, no, kisses/speak) and an amplitude of love to give! I am an educator so I have summers off, leaving my schedule wide open :) I have a 2 year old that loves to play outside and go for walks! He would potentially accompany me to play with your babies if you don’t mind! He loves animals and knows how to be gentle as we have a 14yo Shih-tzu. We can’t get another animal at this time so please let me give your babies love and attention while you’re away!! I would prefer to watch your babies at your house…my dog Portia would be anxious with another animal in the home so it is easier for me to go to you:) but I am willing to take walks and play outside/inside with your pets!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
