“Christina was wonderful to my pup Baylor. I know he enjoyed his stay very much. He played so much he was exhausted when we got home. We were very comfortable with him in her care. She even sent pictures of him playing!! Thank you Christina. You are great!!”

“Shayla is amazing! Our Stella gets so excited to spend the weekend with all of her friends and we have complete peace of mind knowing she is having fun and being loved on like she’s part of Shayla’s family. We have used her several times now and communication is always clear and quick. We get pictures and videos daily and Stella always comes home better behaved than when we dropped her off.”

“Lilyana is an amazing host for your dog. Definitely your go-to for boarding in Savannah. She knows her stuff and is amazingly professional and friendly. Could not recommend anyone else!”

“CINDY IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! From day 1, Cindy communicated so well via the Rover app about my dog’s upcoming stay and could have not been more clear about what to expect. I had never used the Rover app before so I was a bit hesitant, but Cindy exceeded my expectations. My sweet Wren was taken care of so well and loved by Cindy and even got to make some new furry friends throughout the week. I received daily photos from Cindy which was so thoughtful and she even let Wren sleep in her bed. HIGHLY recommend Cindy!!”

“Brandy went above and beyond for our two dogs when they stayed with her! They were so happy and tired when we got them back! She sent pictures of them and responded quickly when I messaged her. We will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Susan was wonderful with our girl Mila! From the start, she was attentive, caring, and communicated well. I was a little nervous leaving Mila since she hadn't been feeling her best the day before drop-off, but Susan immediately put my mind at ease. She kept us updated throughout the stay, which we truly appreciated. brought us peace of mind knowing Mila was in kind and capable hands. We'd absolutely book with Susan again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. Thank you so much, Susan!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Alexa exceeded our expectations! She was great with our two cats and accommodated their needs. We got regular pictures and she updated us as the cats became more comfortable in their new environment. I felt comfortable leaving them in her hands. I highly recommend Alexa and will book her the next time we need cat care!”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care RoseAnn gave our baby! From the moment we dropped her off, we felt completely at ease. It was clear our pup was in loving, capable hands. When we picked her up, she was happy, calm, and clearly had the best time! RoseAnne went above and beyond — she even made homemade doggy biscuits for her. It’s hard to find someone you trust with your fur baby, but we’ve definitely found that in RoseAnne. Highly recommend!”

“Here’s a draft for your Rover review of Alexis: Alexis was fantastic with my dog on short notice! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Helia was absolutely wonderful. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our dog. We received regular updates and felt completely at ease while we were away. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet, but Helia made it effortless. We will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Sharissa is lovely! She took lots of photos and videos of our cat, who wasn’t sure she wanted to come home since she clearly had a great time. Sharissa’s apartment is safe and comfortable for animals. Sharissa was super accommodating and easygoing. We’ll definitely be asking her to watch our cat again.”

About: I grew up surrounded by all different types of pets. Having had mostly rescue animals, I have plenty of experience dealing with pets who may be slow to open up due to their pasts. I’ve learned how to problem-solve in emergency situations, practice patience with pets who may not be fully trained, and take care of sick animals who may require medicine administration. I am a part time student, but during June through August, I will be available most days and times! In the fall I will update my availability. I’m familiar using lots of animal equipment such as crates, puppy gates, etc. I’m a very thorough direction follower and will be sure to treat your space and pets with the respect they deserve!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Port Wentworth
We usually wait a few days before leaving a review to see how our dog settles back in, as her behavior at home is the true test of her experience. Since we are new to the area and had a rocky experience with Rover in the past, we were a bit nervous—but Carl was fantastic. He was incredibly diligent with her medical schedule, asking thoughtful questions to ensure everything was handled correctly. The frequent video and text updates really put us at ease. Our girl came home happy and acting like her usual self. Thank you, Carl, for taking such wonderful care of her!

Carl went above and beyond to make sure my dog was safe, happy, and well cared for while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and the genuine love he showed. My dog came back relaxed and content — I could tell he was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
