About: I grew up with Labs and now have a chihuahua mix of my own that I’ve raised from puppyhood. I’ve cared for neighbors’ dogs and cats starting at 14 years old. I’m comfortable with breeds of all sizes. I truly love spending time with dogs, whether that be long walks and playtime, or winding down with snuggles. I treat every dog like they’re my own and can’t wait to meet yours! I teach yoga part time so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available throughout the day and can give your dog plenty of attention and consistency. I have a little dog at home that is extremely friendly and playful. Also, my husband works from home during the week so one of us is home for the majority of the time.
“Rue had the best weekend with Andrea! She got along so well with her dogs and we knew she was in the best hands. Andrea was very responsive to texts and sent video updates and pictures! We will definitely be happy to book with Andrea again!”

“This was Cassie’s first time boarding with Leigh she was super happy and very well cared for. I received several updates and pictures and Cassie always looked happy and right at home. I think we’re both looking forward to the next time I can take Cassie to stay with Leigh.”
“Nakita was awesome! She made sure we were comfortable dropping off our fur babies. We did a meet and greet and were pleased. Followed up with the booking. She was flexible with the drop off and pick up times, she had kennels size appropriate for my big boy. She has a fenced in yard and she has two little boys that are just adorable. She sent pics and videos everyday. They were always happy when with her. The dogs spent a week and were treated like part of her family. Thank you so much for the great work!”

“Whitney is just the BEST. Smitty is so damn happy to hang with her and Sasha. Which is rare. He’s a very chill dog, but is pretty persnickety about who he shows affection for. He clearly has affection for Whitney. That tells me everything I need to know!”

“He took great care of my cat Chovee on short notice. He sent me daily pictures and made sure my kitty got plenty of affection. He’s very kind, responds quickly to messages, and is a wonderful choice if you’re considering boarding your pet!”

“I left my 2 year old lab Belle with Julie and Chris so we could go on our family vacation for one week. At the meet and greet Julie asked all the necessary questions on how to take care of Belle. Belle and Parma were instant friends at the meet and greet! I feel lucky to have found such nice people to take care of Belle in our neighborhood. I received daily updates on Belle pictures and videos. I highly recommend Julie and Chris they are true dog people!!!”

“Madison and Steven were accommodating w/picking Vinny up. They were timely with pick up and drop off. Vinny seemed content upon return and look like he had been brushed. We are thankful to have had the peace of mind he was cared for while spending time with our family while visiting Hilton Head Island.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
