“Second time Michelle has watched my lab and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Sent daily pictures and updates. She and her family took great care of my boy.”

About: I grew up with Labs and now have a chihuahua mix of my own that I’ve raised from puppyhood. I’ve cared for neighbors’ dogs and cats starting at 14 years old. I’m comfortable with breeds of all sizes. I truly love spending time with dogs, whether that be long walks and playtime, or winding down with snuggles. I treat every dog like they’re my own and can’t wait to meet yours! I teach yoga part time so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available throughout the day and can give your dog plenty of attention and consistency. I have a little dog at home that is extremely friendly and playful. Also, my husband works from home during the week so one of us is home for the majority of the time.
“THE BEST DOG SITTER! Incredibly caring, kind, daily updates, she is very communicative, loving and overall excellent with dogs! Our dog was well loved! THANK YOU DANITA!”

“Sierra helped me out in a pinch and took great care of my very active dog. My dog got to play with other friendly dogs, was taken to the park, and given toys. Her home is dog safe. I will definitely rebook Sierra!”

“Had such a great first experience with Haley! She was so accommodating and understanding with Goose being a puppy, which made me feel completely at ease. She kept me updated, took amazing care of him, and even sent the cutest photos that I absolutely loved. I could tell Goose was well cared for and happy. I really appreciated the patience, communication, and overall experience highly recommend!”

“Janine did a great job and sent updates while I was away on vacationfor a few days. My pup was comfortable and had a great time playing with her pets too. I would not hesitate to book again.”

“We left our two dogs (medium and large sized) with Cindy for several days and they seemed to really enjoy themselves. Cindy was friendly and welcoming and took great care of Pepper and Jake. Pepper sometimes has separation anxiety, especially at boarding facilities, and doesn't eat well or relax in that setting. But, she did great with Cindy. She had no trouble eating and got lots of attention. Cindy has a spacious, fenced-in yard, so they also had plenty of room to run around outside, which our large dog loved. We would definitely leave Pepper and Jake with Cindy again!”

“This is the 9th time Kristina and Brett have taken care of our boys and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. They are always so diligent about keeping us updated and sending pictures, I don’t ever have to worry how they are doing.”

“Sarah helped me out for our last minute decision to bring and board my dog in Savanna while I attend a week-long event. She was so nice and accommodating from the time she met Jojo up until we picked her up. She was able to manage my dog’s reactive tendencies w/ other dogs and immediately recognized which of her own dogs Jojo can acclimate best with. Plus she sends lots of photos. I’m so happy and lucky to find someone like her who really cares about dogs and not just out there to run a business. I highly recommend her and most likely will call on her again when we come back to Savannah.”

“Marston gave our pup the best Rover experience of our 5+ occasions. He truly is a "dog person" and puts them at the center of his household. Enjoyed meeting you and your dogs. Thanks again.”

“Stephanie and Devonte were great caretakers. The communication and updates were appreciated. They took extra care to meet Tripps unique needs. Thank you.”

“Helia was absolutely wonderful. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our dog. We received regular updates and felt completely at ease while we were away. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet, but Helia made it effortless. We will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Nakita was awesome! She made sure we were comfortable dropping off our fur babies. We did a meet and greet and were pleased. Followed up with the booking. She was flexible with the drop off and pick up times, she had kennels size appropriate for my big boy. She has a fenced in yard and she has two little boys that are just adorable. She sent pics and videos everyday. They were always happy when with her. The dogs spent a week and were treated like part of her family. Thank you so much for the great work!”

“Rayna has watched my super chill Great Pyrenees twice now. She totally gets it. She has a dog friendly place, loves all dogs big and small and I really feel like she cares. Dolly can be a little bit of a turd (stubborn) but Rayna rolls with it. Thank you!”
“We scheduled a trip at last minute and Cheyenne was nice enough to take in our 3pets. We ended up no going on the trip but Cheyenne was so understanding. She did send us pictures of our pets for the little time she had them. We will be booking her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Richmond Hill
Her whole family treated Flopsy like she was part of their own family. It truly felt like Flopsy’s second home. To be honest, Flopsy had her dream time with lots of attentions. Macie was always so responsive, answering all of my questions and sending me lots of photos and updates throughout Flopsy’s stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

Jessica and her family are amazing! They have become family to us and our dog as well. There is no one that I trust more. I never have to worry for a second when my pup is with her. I know that she will always have Millie’s best interest at heart. If she’s available to book, do yourself a favor and choose her. Your dog will love you for it! 😁

Heather was amazing and took the best care of my pups! I’d been worried about leaving them, as one has been a bit anxious lately, but she cared for them as if they were her own! I got pictures and updates daily, which helped put my mind at ease. Heather also answered many of my questions when meeting her before I even asked, which was the biggest selling point for me. My pups came home tired and happy- would definitely recommend!

Katie and her husband exceeded my expectations. My sensitive, skittish rescue dog who I’ve never left before, absolutely loved being there. At the meet and greet JoJo jumped in Hunter’s lap and that’s when I knew he would be just fine. He Never does that. All four days during Christmas, Katie sent the cutest pictures of JoJo interacting with family, just hanging out happily. I was several hours away and felt completely peaceful about where JoJo was and who was caring for him. Every time Katie and I communicated, she was clear and concise about plans for dropping off and picking up. She went out of her way to answer questions immediately and was flexible and easy to work with. I will not fail to have Katie and her husband keep JoJo again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
