“Kylie was WONDERFUL with my dogs. This is the first dog sitter I’ve found in savannah that my dogs came back extremely happy, cleaner, and my puppy learned a lot of manners while in her care. She sends pictures & videos constantly which is wonderful. My dog also had some wounds on him from allergies & Kylie went out & got him medicine & cared very well for him. 100% recommend!”
“We usually wait a few days before leaving a review to see how our dog settles back in, as her behavior at home is the true test of her experience. Since we are new to the area and had a rocky experience with Rover in the past, we were a bit nervous—but Carl was fantastic. He was incredibly diligent with her medical schedule, asking thoughtful questions to ensure everything was handled correctly. The frequent video and text updates really put us at ease. Our girl came home happy and acting like her usual self. Thank you, Carl, for taking such wonderful care of her!”

“Thaleia watched my dog, Cooper, for an extended stay, and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving him in her care. From our pre-stay meet and greet, I knew he would be in great hands. She was kind, communicative, and consistently sent thoughtful updates with photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Sierra is so great! She sent the cutest pictures and videos of our baby and communicated very well. Her home and backyard was super dog-proofed and well-accommodating for our very high energy blue heeler. He even had a whole human-sized bed to himself to sleep on! Highly recommend this sitter!”

“Nakita was awesome! She made sure we were comfortable dropping off our fur babies. We did a meet and greet and were pleased. Followed up with the booking. She was flexible with the drop off and pick up times, she had kennels size appropriate for my big boy. She has a fenced in yard and she has two little boys that are just adorable. She sent pics and videos everyday. They were always happy when with her. The dogs spent a week and were treated like part of her family. Thank you so much for the great work!”

“Genevieve is a very loving caretaker. Bandit loves her. She takes the time to feed, play and walk with him. The environment is very warm and clean. The backyard is very large for letting the pup run.”

“Sarah was great with my pup Cooper! She was good at keeping me updated with how he was doing and sent lots of pictures. He came back super happy and tired from playing with the new friends he made at her house.”

“Had such a great first experience with Haley! She was so accommodating and understanding with Goose being a puppy, which made me feel completely at ease. She kept me updated, took amazing care of him, and even sent the cutest photos that I absolutely loved. I could tell Goose was well cared for and happy. I really appreciated the patience, communication, and overall experience highly recommend!”

“Jacqueline and her family took wonderful care of Luca! They made him feel right at home, and it was clear he had a great time during his stay. Their dog is very friendly and well-behaved, and Luca loved having a buddy to play with. They also have a large, beautiful backyard where he got plenty of exercise and fun. I really appreciated the love and attention they gave him, and I would definitely trust them with Luca again. Highly recommend!”

“Will definitely book again, everything went smooth great dog handler is recommend her to anybody who’s dog is good with other dogs, very easy going person will work with your schedule. I definitely plan on booking with her again”

“Cindy was amazing. My dog has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well in boarding - so one-on-one care is the only option. The second my pup met Cindy he was at ease, was so excited to see her when we dropped him off, and was only anxious for 15 ish minutes after we left - which is amazing for him. He also struggles with some allergies and itchy skin which is exacerbated when I leave him, but he came back with clear skin and so happy. I could tell he loved his time with Cindy and she took amazing care of him. 100% our go-to sitter in the future.”

“Melissa did an amazing job with our dogs! She was very detailed and communicative. She clearly showed them lots of love. I would absolutely recommend her and plan on using her services again!”

“Great young family with other animals that allowed my dog to truly enjoy himself. A military family that was willing to taken him in at the last moment, I truly appreciate them. Thanks.”

“Alexis was great. She is attentive and wants to make your dog feel at home and loved while you’re away. If we weren’t moving I would definitely have her watch our pup again.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have been pet sitting for friends and family for the past 5 years. My family currently has a 6 year old German Shepard Mix, so i am comfortable with larger dogs. I will treat your pets like they are part of my own family and keep you updated with lots of photos and messages so you can have piece of mind. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Your pets safety and comfort is one of my top priorities. We have a clean and comfortable pet-friendly home with a fully-fenced in backyard. “I was extremely apprehensive because Benji has only stayed with family,my children say he spoiled and the baby of the bunch. Ramona was so understanding and transparent. I’ve left a review before but as we just became a family of 3 and brought home our little girl from the hospital we had our first 4 legged baby with Jessica and I truly don’t know what we would do without her. She goes so far above and beyond and has truly been the biggest blessing to us. I’m telling you you won’t find someone who takes better care of your dogs

Heather was amazing and took the best care of my pups! I’d been worried about leaving them, as one has been a bit anxious lately, but she cared for them as if they were her own! I got pictures and updates daily, which helped put my mind at ease. Heather also answered many of my questions when meeting her before I even asked, which was the biggest selling point for me. My pups came home tired and happy- would definitely recommend!

Katie is amazing! Her and her husband took the best care of our Millie girl. She was constantly communicating and kept me informed. I got several pictures. This is also the first time that I truly relaxed when leaving her with a Rover sitter. I knew she was being taken care of and loved the same way I do it! I will definitely use them again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
