“Thaleia watched my dog, Cooper, for an extended stay, and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving him in her care. From our pre-stay meet and greet, I knew he would be in great hands. She was kind, communicative, and consistently sent thoughtful updates with photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Vanya I've been caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities since I was 12. From playful puppies to senior companions, I’ve provided loving, reliable care tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether it’s a quick drop in, feeding, playtime, or just some company while you’re away, I treat every pet like family. I'm committed to making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved, right in the comfort of their own home or mine if needing boarding. I’m currently in college but I’m in school online and also a sahm! I do have a baby to consider but I’m pretty open and flexible :) When caring for pets in your home or mine, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I always follow your instructions closely whether it's feeding, medication, walks, or playtime to keep things consistent and stress-free. I take time to build trust with each pet and ensure they feel safe and relaxed while you're away. During walks, I use secure leashes and stay alert to keep your dog safe at all times. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities.
“Loved RoseAnn!! My little Riley felt right at home immediately and was so calm when I picked him up! I don't think he was ready to come home yet, LOL! I know he was loved and well taken care of! Will defintely use her again.”

“Katherine was very responsive to me from the beginning. She stayed in contact and sent pictures of my Buddy throughout the stay. It was evident that Buddy was safe and cared for for while we were away. I will definitely use her again.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful experience with this Katelyn! She sent me photos and updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Her daughter was also amazing and made sure my Frenchie had everything he needed throughout his stay. My boy looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. It’s clear they genuinely love animals and treat them like family. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to care for their pet! 🐾💕”

“Corey was absolutely wonderful! She took such good care of my girl, kept me updated, and sent me so many pictures of her having the best time! I will absolutely continue to book with Corey and I know my pup cannot wait to go back!”

“Brandy went above and beyond for our two dogs when they stayed with her! They were so happy and tired when we got them back! She sent pictures of them and responded quickly when I messaged her. We will definitely use her again in the future!”
“We usually wait a few days before leaving a review to see how our dog settles back in, as her behavior at home is the true test of her experience. Since we are new to the area and had a rocky experience with Rover in the past, we were a bit nervous—but Carl was fantastic. He was incredibly diligent with her medical schedule, asking thoughtful questions to ensure everything was handled correctly. The frequent video and text updates really put us at ease. Our girl came home happy and acting like her usual self. Thank you, Carl, for taking such wonderful care of her!”

About: I’ve volunteered at multiple animal shelters, my longest time was at Mostly Mutts. I walked, fed, cared for, and cleaned up, after multiple dogs at a time and some cats. I also have always had pets and currently have 2 cats that I love. My current job is very easy to work around in its schedule so outside of that I have plenty of time and flexibility for whatever is needed for your pet(s)! I currently have 2 cats that I dedicate a lot of my time to. They always have treats and are fed twice a day. I constantly am around them, loving on them, and treat them as if they were my own kids, since they truthfully are.
“Rosi was amazing with my Harvey. She sent me regular updates and Harvey seemed so happy in her home and hanging out with her Olaf. Rosi and her husband are clearly big animal people and take your pet in as their own.”

“Thank you for providing Rosie with the such a safe and caring place to stay this weekend. Your knowledge of taking care of older dogs is greatly appreciated. Rosie was comfortable and well taken care of :)”

“Debra was amazing! She was very communicative the whole time and our dog loved staying with her. She even taught him a new trick! 10/10 will be calling her when we need a sitter in the future 🥰”

Here’s a polished review you could post: She accepted my booking on short notice for a 4-day stay and was very responsive throughout the entire time. She kept me updated with messages, pictures, and videos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Best of all, Rex came home happy and cared for. I would definitely recommend her and would book with her again!

I never thought I’d meet someone who instantly loved my dogs as much as I do, but Kayla sure did! We received photos, updates, and booking was the easiest experience I’ve had on Rover. Kayla was patient, kind, and even sent my girls home with a special treat 🥹 Can’t wait to bring my dogs back for a sleep over 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
