About: I've had dogs for all of my adult life and I'm used to family member's cats, just don't have any of my own due to family allergies. I'm also keen to rabbits, chickens, and ducks for any of you backyard farmers here. I can administer medication if needed and trained my dogs as puppies. I'm by no means a professional trainer but I can help reinforce skills that may be starting to develop during my time with your pup. I have open availability since I stay at home and am in school, so I am very flexible to walking and caring for other's pets. I have a fenced-in yard for dogs to relieve themselves or play whenever. It would be easier to feed them at set times vs leaving food out due to my two year old playing in our dog's food if I leave it out

About: I have been caring for dogs for my friends and family since I was 10 years old. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I have also worked with puppies, geriatric dogs, and dogs with special medical needs, and I can reliably administer medication with minimal stress to the pet. I prioritize calm, comfortable, and compassionate care that meets the unique requirements of each dog I care for. I work full time but with multiple hour breaks throughout the day and fully free evenings. I would be able to care for pets in the morning before 6:30, in the afternoon from 11:30 to 1:00, and in the evening from 5:00 as long as needed. On the weekends and holidays I have full freedom to spend the full time with pets. In my own home I provide a quiet, calm environment with many pet beds, a fenced yard, large windows, high places, and areas and rooms that can be completely from one another. In clients homes, I care for pets by communicating before the service to establish boundaries and access instructions as well as meet the pets. Before getting to the property, I tell the client I am on my way. Then when I provide the care, I enter the property as instructed and feed and water the pet/s (including medication if needed). Then I change litter, bedding, pee pads, etc. Then I do any grooming that the pets need. After that I socialize and play with the pets if they are comfortable with that. Before leaving I clean anything else that needs to be cleaned. Then I leave and secure the property as instructed and send a message to the client to update them.
“Our dog is very nervous when she is in new environments but with Theresa she was very calm when we picked her up. You can tell she loves dogs and I guess the dogs feel that also.”

“Winnie had so much fun staying with Qinrong and Big John! The whole family was so welcoming to her and we received many updates with pics and videos while we were away! Thank you for your care and love to our Winnie while we were away! 🫶”

“Debra was amazing! She was very communicative the whole time and our dog loved staying with her. She even taught him a new trick! 10/10 will be calling her when we need a sitter in the future 🥰”

“Natasha has a lovely house and a beautiful backyard. So clean and tidy! I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and I can tell by the pics she sent that they were treated very well. And she kindly accommodated my older dog with mobility issues. I’m excited to have found Natasha and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Maria is an amazing dog sitter and a better person! We left our 4 month old rambunctious puppy with her for a whole week. We were nervous but Maria made our anxieties go away. She provided pictures of our puppy playing and being loved by Maria's family, running outside, and playing with her dogs throughout the whole week. I highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for the best care for their dog.”

“Haley was amazing all around! She welcomed my fur baby into her home as one of her own. I loved the communication, and photos/video updates while she was providing excellent care. Will definitely use Haley again when in the Hinesville area!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! Thaleia kept me updated with photos and videos throughout the 10 days, and I always felt my dog was in great hands. When I picked the dog up, it was clean, happy, and clearly well cared for. Absolutely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Kristina and her family took very good care of My Buddy Rebel. She sent pictures every day, that was the highlight of our days while we were in Florida. Kristina will be my first choice to take care of our "baby boy" in the future. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to take care of your dog.”

“Melissa continues to be absolutely amazing with Akila and Kasumi. She creates such a calm and loving environment while still making sure my huskies stay engaged, active, and happy. My girls always come home upbeat and relaxed, never stressed or withdrawn, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. Beyond being wonderful with dogs, Melissa is just a genuinely kind and thoughtful person, and it shows in the way she cares for animals and communicates with their owners. I am so thankful to have someone I trust this much caring for my girls!”

“Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING! She communicated and sent so many pictures, and treated my baby as her own. My dog LOVED her and her family and had a blast. I will definitely be booking again soon! ❤️”

Here’s a polished review you could post: She accepted my booking on short notice for a 4-day stay and was very responsive throughout the entire time. She kept me updated with messages, pictures, and videos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Best of all, Rex came home happy and cared for. I would definitely recommend her and would book with her again!

We had such a great experience with Aalliyah. In fact this is our second time leaving Ubi with her. They took wonderful care of Ubi while we were away on vacation, which gave us so much peace of mind. From regular updates to making sure Ubi was happy, comfortable, and well-cared for, everything was handled with care and professionalism. It was clear that Ubi was in good hands the entire time. We truly appreciated the communication. It made our trip even more enjoyable knowing our pup was safe and loved. We would absolutely recommend them and would gladly book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
