About: A small dusty space in our backyard but there is a dog park a few blocks away. I had a beautiful dog when I was younger, she was my best friend and was the one who showed me unconditional love when I needed it the most. The one who wagged her tail after I came home from school and loved her so much. I will care for your pup as such when you are away. I work full time however, I will always take care of the pets before leaving for the day! I will always be available in the afternoon 530pm-whenever if a late drop off is needed! I have a fenced yard and will make sure your pups have their own space l, I request that pups have their own crate please bring their own chewing toys as I have lost some dues due to teething pups
“Ashleh was AMAZING! She loved on all our fur babies, sent lots of pictures and videos. She was so easy to work with and answered all my questions. Absolutely would recommend her for any pet sitting service!!!!”

“Alana was quick to book and very friendly. Showed up on time for meet and greet and showed up everyday on time as we agreed upon to care for Finlee. Communicated daily and responded quickly w any questions or concerns we had. I would highly recommend!”

About: I've had dogs for all of my adult life and I'm used to family member's cats, just don't have any of my own due to family allergies. I'm also keen to rabbits, chickens, and ducks for any of you backyard farmers here. I can administer medication if needed and trained my dogs as puppies. I'm by no means a professional trainer but I can help reinforce skills that may be starting to develop during my time with your pup. I have open availability since I stay at home and am in school, so I am very flexible to walking and caring for other's pets. I have a fenced-in yard for dogs to relieve themselves or play whenever. It would be easier to feed them at set times vs leaving food out due to my two year old playing in our dog's food if I leave it out
“I cannot say enough amazing things about Beatriz! They treated our pups like their own, kept us updated the entire time, and made being away so much easier. Our dogs were happy, calm, and clearly loved every minute with them. Truly reliable, kind, and trustworthy — highly recommend!””

About: I have been entrusted with the care of my friends pets many times while they go on vacation. Always sending updates with pictures and short videos of either their cats or dogs playing, napping, or getting chin, belly, or ear scritchies. I am very detail oriented and will always leave both pets and their living space happy and clean. Whether your fur babies loves the indoors or outdoors, I can happily entertain both with reassurance. I am currently unemployed as I have just moved to Hinesville Georgia. Which means I have plenty of time to give walks to your pups, or entertain your cats with string wiggling fun. I am mostly available during the weekdays from 11am to 3pm and sometimes on the weekends during the same time. I can drive over to wherever you live with your pets, and will follow all instructions if given. Making sure that when I leave your precious little ones (or big ones) feeling happy, fed and pampered to the best of my abilities. As well as, keeping your place as clean as I can, and keeping all water bowls/ fountains, and food bowls clean and full. I promise to always send photo updates and videos if you so desire of your fur babies, for you to have a peace of mind that they are doing well. And if something seems amiss with them, I will immediately contact you to make sure if I need to do anything for them at that moment.
“Angel was amazing! Flexible, communicative, and able to take care of all our needs! We felt very comfortable knowing that our sweet girl was taken care of and getting loved on.”

“Alexis was wonderful! I’m very pleased with her communication—she kept me informed and gave me such peace of mind while I was away. She took great care of Noah and Mercy, and it truly showed. I would definitely book with her again!”
“Help so much with my new puppy and senior dog. My senior dog loved her company and loved going for walks with Kennedy. Very responsible and was on time for daily walks. Followed instructions on feeding times, as they both had different needs. Highly recommend.”

“Makayla did amazing with our dog! She sent me a photo after each visit and kept me informed on how he was doing. She even went above and beyond and grabbed some packages off our porch and placed them inside for us. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much!”

“Jana was wonderful with our kitties! She took the time to check in on them and made sure they had fresh food and water, scooped the litterbox, played, and gave cuddles. About: I have a masters in applied behavioral analysis and a bachelor’s in psychology. I trained dogs in the past and often help out at the shelter. My life has been working in behavior and I very much understand the needs of my clients both human and furry. Our home has four chickens, two dogs, and a cat. We always have someone home to attend to our pets needs. I have a roommate who is a retired veteran, a father of two kids and is always home. I have short work days, I’m always home by 3pm. We have many eyes on our own pets. Rest assured there will always be supervision when it comes to taking care of your pet. They will be treated like family and spoiled with attention as such.
About: Dog sitting: I love sitting for my dog pals. I love playing with them and taking them on walks and treating them like a little baby. I grew up with animals mainly dogs. I had a Rottweiler and not long ago a boxer who has officially passed 😢 but I have family members with animals as well that love me. Love taking long walks with my dog pals not only exercise for them but exercise for me as well at the same time. A dog is a women’s best friend especially having a rough day the dog can tell and he or she is there with you. I will treat your baby like they are one of my own. Yes I would be an excellent candidate for your pal

- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
