“Jessica did an excellent job! We hired her for 5 hours and to give our dog a bath. She was very prepared and asked all the right questions. If we need a sitter again we will surely call Jessica. Big thumbs up!”

“Gabrielle was great, I wish I could give more stars! It was last minute as we couldn't take our Dior on our trip, so I was really worried as we had never left her with anyone before. But Gabrielle put our minds at ease while on vacation. She also kept great communication with us!! I would definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Meredith is amazing!! My dog was immediately comfortable with her and gets excited to see her every time she comes. She takes tons of pictures of my pup every visit, and reaches out with updates. Meredith is 100% someone you can count on!”

“Jade is professional, dependable and was great with our Shih Tzu and Weimaraner. She took her time with our babies and we could not thank her enough for helping out on short notice. Will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: A small dusty space in our backyard but there is a dog park a few blocks away. I had a beautiful dog when I was younger, she was my best friend and was the one who showed me unconditional love when I needed it the most. The one who wagged her tail after I came home from school and loved her so much. I will care for your pup as such when you are away. I work full time however, I will always take care of the pets before leaving for the day! I will always be available in the afternoon 530pm-whenever if a late drop off is needed! I have a fenced yard and will make sure your pups have their own space l, I request that pups have their own crate please bring their own chewing toys as I have lost some dues due to teething pups
“Elizabeth was excellent and very attentive with our dogs, and her communication was great throughout. She was also kind enough to modify our booking with no cancellation fee when we returned from our trip early. We will 100% book her again.”

About: I’ve helped raise and take care of dogs since I was 10 or so. We’ve had several litters of puppies that we had to raise and get rehomed as well as various animals to include cats, dogs, and smaller animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. Each animal has its own personality and that makes working with them so special. I have flexibility to stop in the middle of the day during the work week to check in on your pet and provide the care needed on a daily basis. I also have open availability on the weekends and evenings to check in as needed. I try to treat each animal how I would like my animals to be treated. They are alive and have personalities that should be tailored to the approach you give the pets. That’s my philosophy.
“Octavia was great! My family is so happy to have found her! She took excellent care of our fur and shell babies. She made sure the pets were very well cared for. She also was very professional made sure their kitty boxes, feeding spaces, etc were clean and swept. She showed up on time, communicated extremely well, and provided pictures each time (of all the pets, even the ones hiding!). We was a pleasure to work with and made me feel completely assured that my babies were safe and taken care of while we were gone! We highly recommend her, and will request her again the next time we travel! Thank you so much, Octavia! 🥰🐈⬛🐈🐕🦺🐢❤️”

“Alana was quick to book and very friendly. Showed up on time for meet and greet and showed up everyday on time as we agreed upon to care for Finlee. Communicated daily and responded quickly w any questions or concerns we had. I would highly recommend!”

“Emily was very flexible with our schedule from the very first meeting and since. This was our first time using Emily. We would definitely consider her again; should the need arise.”

“Angel was awesome with my girls and quickly warmed up to her. She offered a meet up prior to booking and was flexible enough for an extra drop in on the day it was requested. Plus reasonable drop in costs. Would absolutely book again”

“Angela was AMAZING with my 2 boys!! She went above and beyond with the care, drop in visits and keeping me updated. I will absolutely be booking with her again and have no doubt she will take the best care of any pet she’s in charge of !! Could not be more happy with her service!”
“Sarah took amazing care of my dogs while I was out of town. My dogs are nervous around everyone but she put them at ease and my it so much easier for me knowing they were in good hands. They adored her! I will absolutely be booking her again!”

- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
