About: I’ve raised two dogs as puppies and have extensive experience in training them. My current dog, Penny, is a rescue and loves to run around and play outside. I make sure to provide attentive supervision so the dogs feel comfortable and at ease. I work from home full-time so I have plenty of opportunities to let the dogs out throughout the day for potty breaks or play time. Weather permitting, we take long walks each morning after breakfast, and at night after dinner. I have a fenced in yard so my dog spends a lot of time outside running around or just hanging out. I also have a large screened in porch when she needs a break from the sun. Penny sleeps in my office (her room) next to the bedroom which is where other dogs would sleep as well. I don’t allow dogs on furniture or sleep in the bed.
About: I’ve had the responsibility of taking care of pets ever since I was little. My family, friends, and neighbors always call me when they need someone trustworthy to watch their pets! I petsit pretty frequently, it’s my main ‘job’ right now! When I have a petsitting job, I definitely try to hangout with the pet as much as possible as well as make sure they have enough opportunities to go potty. I have my own cat, Betty, she is a tortie! I adore her. My family has a Shih-Tzu named Harley. She sleeps with me every night and is very sweet. We also have a super chill cat named Donald who sleeps all day!
“Camryn was fantastic! We booked her last minute for a couple of drop-ins, and we were so grateful for her flexibility. She communicated well, kept us updated, and took wonderful care of our pups. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Alexis is good at what she does. She always takes good care of my fur baby and takes him on walks. She keeps me updated during the visits as well. Alexis is our go-to dog sitter. Highly recommend”

“Madelynn took care of my cat Lucien for 19 days. I had never left my cat for so long before and was overly worried, especially about finding a sitter willing to commit. She made me feel at ease my entire trip with really good pictures and videos, stayed on top of litter and other chores, and provided daily play time. Will definitely be booking again next time I leave town. 10/10”

“Jasmin is a caring and reliable dog sitter! She was communicative, professional, and treated my dog like family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable sitter.”

“Pondz is a wonderful dog sitter. She is punctual, dependable, flexible, has great communication and our dog seemed to enjoy the extra lovings with each visit. I like that she takes pictures and provides a narrative of the visit. We are very pleased. And, if we go out of town again then we will definitely reach out to Pondz again. Thank you for your time and efforts.”

“Andra was awesome and took great care of our 2 cats while we were away for six days. I don't even think our cats even missed us. We would definitely use her again for our next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Lorelei was very calm and confident around Rusty (our anxious Shetland Sheepdog) and we knew that would be a tremendous help while we were gone. We will definitely be using her again.”

About: I have taken care of almost every dog in my small town from Alaska! I am trusted by everyone in my town with any variety of pets. I take care of dogs, cats, and even reptiles! I owned two reptiles back in Alaska so I have experience. If you need a reliable person who is good with all animals, give me a shout! I am currently living a life of freedom and nature loving. I travel around the world in my camper van and take care of pets all across the way. I would be more than happy to stay with your pet while you were away as well if that would make both the owner and the pet more comfortable. I would be willing to stay at no extra charge. I am incredibly flexible with the care of any pet and I will follow the owners instructions as directed to make sure their pet friend does not have a disturbed routine. If your pup needs time to play outside, I would be happy to exercise them as needed. I can feed as many times a day as needed and can provide regular care.
About: Pet care is almost second nature for me. I’ve been entrusted with caring for pets since I was a child and started taking it more seriously in my adulthood. Having furry friends to hang out with is truly the highlight of any day/week for me. I work in the restaurant biz, but I’m able to set my schedule for the most part, so taking on pet sitting gigs is easy for me. While I live in an apartment, it is VERY pet friendly. It has a dog washing station on my floor, as well as multiple pet play areas around the property. Inside your fur babies can enjoy spacious areas and easily accessible food an water station. And for the babies that like to feel the wind in their hair, I’ve got a balcony that looks over a portion of River Walk! I initiate play time and adhere to any specific walking and eating schedule your baby may have.
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my dedication to providing exceptional care tailored to each dog's individual needs. I ensure that every furry friend is treated with the utmost love and care. My commitment to making a positive impact is reflected in the personalized experience I provide for each pet, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-behaved. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to make pet care is a significant part of my daily routine. I make sure to incorporate time for walking, feeding, playtime. By dedicating regular slots in my day for pet care, I ensure that each furry friend receives the attention and care they deserve to thrive and be happy. It's a priority for me to make sure they feel loved and well-cared for every day! I won’t be doing in Home pet care, but I definitely will be doing it in the future. I will be updating once I decide.
About: I love all animals and my biggest goal is the give you and your dog an OUTSTANDING Rover experience. I will talk to your furry friend, play with them, walk them, and provide any additional care as necessary. I am here to make your life easier and your dogs life worth woofing about! I don’t have my own pooch right now, but with Rover, I am able to get all the face licks and wiggles of joy I need, all while helping others and making some extra cash. Loving what you do directly correlates with the quality of service provided - I love what I do and nothing in life is more important than that. I currently work full time Monday-Friday with an hour lunch break. I can sleep over your place, give your pet all the cuddles they need, and come for the afternoon walkie! (If close enough to my work/if they need it) I go to clients homes, am able to spend the night with your pets, do their morning routine, and come as needed in the afternoon during my lunch break.
About: I have had pets my whole life, I love every furry pet as if it was my own! I work during the day at home and I am able to be flexible around walking times and will be able to follow any instructions. I’ve managed giving pets medication if your pet needs any type of medicine when in my care I can assist! I will enjoy helping with your furry loved one! I have one small shih tzu named Oreo she loves playing with other dogs and going on walks. She is one year old and super friendly. I look forward to meeting each new fluffy face! Thank you and please let me know how I can assist your family and your fur babies! Feel free to ask any questions prior!
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I also have taken care of a cat full time for a year so I have experience with cats as well. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure every animal feels safe and cared for. I treat every pet like my own and pay close attention to their individual needs, whether they’re energetic or more relaxed. I’m currently a student at SCAD, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Keller
Carol was every bit of 5 stars! She went out of her way to do a meet and greet before hand to ensure our two dogs were nice and comfortable with their new weekend baby sitter. She expertly handled my large and overly excited fur babies and gave them lots of love and attention. She sent lots of pics while we were gone and made us feel like they were in great hands the entire time. Thank you Carol for everything!

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
