“Jen and I met a few weeks before hand for a meet n greet. I instantly loved her. She is so sweet and caring. I just knew my kitten would be in good hands over the holiday. She came over daily and provided feedback as well as pics. I will definitely call Jen next time I have to go out of town!”

“Gabrielle was great, I wish I could give more stars! It was last minute as we couldn't take our Dior on our trip, so I was really worried as we had never left her with anyone before. But Gabrielle put our minds at ease while on vacation. She also kept great communication with us!! I would definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Jessica did an excellent job! We hired her for 5 hours and to give our dog a bath. She was very prepared and asked all the right questions. If we need a sitter again we will surely call Jessica. Big thumbs up!”

“Elizabeth was great! We will definitely be choosing her again-it’s always hard to choose a new sitter but she left no doubt that Cricket was loved on and well taken care of while I was on a work trip!”

“Meredith is amazing!! My dog was immediately comfortable with her and gets excited to see her every time she comes. She takes tons of pictures of my pup every visit, and reaches out with updates. Meredith is 100% someone you can count on!”

“She really helped save the day when we were out of town. She replies quickly, provides detailed feedback, is flexible and responsive to changes as they arise, and showed genuine care for our cat. I could go on about all she did to really help us in our time of need.”

About: I’ve helped raise and take care of dogs since I was 10 or so. We’ve had several litters of puppies that we had to raise and get rehomed as well as various animals to include cats, dogs, and smaller animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. Each animal has its own personality and that makes working with them so special. I have flexibility to stop in the middle of the day during the work week to check in on your pet and provide the care needed on a daily basis. I also have open availability on the weekends and evenings to check in as needed. I try to treat each animal how I would like my animals to be treated. They are alive and have personalities that should be tailored to the approach you give the pets. That’s my philosophy.
“Angela was AMAZING with my 2 boys!! She went above and beyond with the care, drop in visits and keeping me updated. I will absolutely be booking with her again and have no doubt she will take the best care of any pet she’s in charge of !! Could not be more happy with her service!”
“Bayla was phenomenal with our whole pack! She followed their routine and even helped training the newest edition to the pack! Our dogs loved her. We would happily recommend her services to anyone and hope to book with her again in the future!”

“Emily was very flexible with our schedule from the very first meeting and since. This was our first time using Emily. We would definitely consider her again; should the need arise.”

“It's always been hard for me to find someone I trust to take care of my sweet little dog when I'm away for long periods of time but knew from the time of my meet and greet with Megahn that I'd hit the jackpot! She's sweet, smart, reliable, trustworthy but most of all she's very loving when it comes to dogs! Knowing that she's studying and planning for spending the rest of her life taking care of animals (she's a pre-vet student at Virginia Tech) gives me that much more peace of mind. If you're looking for someone to take care of your dog when you can't, give her a call! She's wonderful.”

“Alexis is good at what she does. She always takes good care of my fur baby and takes him on walks. She keeps me updated during the visits as well. Alexis is our go-to dog sitter. Highly recommend”

“Andra was awesome and took great care of our 2 cats while we were away for six days. I don't even think our cats even missed us. We would definitely use her again for our next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Kristina is the best! She took care of our 12 year old Yorkie while we were away and she did a great job. Always on time, trustworthy and dependable. She even updated us with lots of pics! We looked at a lot of candidates and we are so glad we went with Kristina. We recommend her and we will definitely be using her again.”

“Lorelei made our trip much less stressful with all the pictures and feedback. She was so patient with all of my questions while I was trying to decide whether to use Rover. Our pets were happy and healthy when we got home. Highly recommend!!”

“Alexandra was amazing with my dog. She is reliable, trustworthy, and professional, and my dog absolutely loved her! I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in such good hands and would ask her to watch my dog again without hesitation!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Keller. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
