“Matthew was amazing with my 14 year old lab! He sends picture of each walk. He made sure Buddy had water and fed him twice a day. I highly recommend and will use Matthew again in the future.”

About: I absolutely love all animals. I grew up with cats, but I specialize in caring for dogs. I'm patient with them and ensure they are treated as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and work as a DoorDasher. I’ll have plenty of time to spend with them, giving them all the cuddles and love! I have a large backyard to run around in, or if you prefer, they can stay inside your home—that's fine as well! I also have a medium-sized dog named Luna who loves to play with other dogs!

About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.
“Dawn did a great job with my 2 cats. I appreciated her attention to detail, and she took the extra effort to help do some cleaning and take my trash out. She was also careful to ask questions and notify me about some of my cat’s behavior. I would definitely book her services again.”

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, a reliable and flexible pet sitter with experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, and fish. I have a dog of my own and understand how important routine and trust are. I recently moved from Virginia, where I was well established with many families for dog sitting, walking, and in-home care, and I’m excited to build those relationships here. I’m happy to adapt to pets of all ages and sizes, including those with anxious or shy personalities. I am available for boarding on weekends! Will be free full time during the week starting this June! As of right now Fridays-Sundays are my timeframe! I build trust through slow introductions, consistent routines, and calm, supervised interactions while watching each pet’s comfort level! I have always enjoyed watching the owners interact with their pets, it helps me get a feel of what their animal likes.
About: I have taken care of my own animals for the past 10 years but also assisted my mom and her animals as well I love taking care of any animal I have plenty of time to handle all of your pet needs in clouding over nights as well as drop in visits I will always treat your cat or dog like the human it is! “Sarah did an amazing job taking care of and spending time with our two rescue cats. She was extremely conscientious and even took the time to alert me to a small issue our newest cat was possibly having with his new wet food. She was also very reliable and clean. About: I’ve always taken care of animals and have been around them my entire life! I was always the go-to person in my neighborhood when someone needed a pet sitter. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, fish, and even a chameleon! I would love to gain experience on taking care of other types of animals too! I’m currently in school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-2pm. I also am working part time all week at a restaurant so hours may vary depending on the week! I will work around my school and work schedule to fit the pet-babies needs however I can best possibly fit :) I’m always making sure to feed my dogs at the same time every night, making sure my longer-haired dog goes to the groomers regularly, going exactly by directions and rules given by pet owners. I know how to preform cpr on any cats as well.

Georgetown cat parents share their Rover experiences
I had a pleasant experience with Megahn over the holidays. She took care of my cat, was flexible with our dates and times, and communicated well throughout the stay. Everything went smoothly and we appreciated her reliability, especially during a busy time of year.

Anna did a fantastic job looking after my animals and was extra communicative to make sure things were just right for them. She was very thorough with the details of everything and quickly gained my full trust, even cleaning up the occasional mess... The babies are always safe in her care!
Saige always gives us the best piece of mind when we're on trips checking on our guy! We come home and he's less stressed and you can tell he hasn't been lonely, which makes all the difference when we go on vacation! We know he's well taken care of and our house is checked on! Cannot recommend Saige enough!
