“Baylee is a wonderful sitter and she took great care of our sweet spaz of a dog. She took lots of pictures and videos to calm my worries. We will definitely be booking her for our future needs! Thank you again so much Baylee!”

“Jasmin agreed to watch our cats for two weeks while we went on vacation. I was quite nervous as it was our first time using rover and we have some finicky cats. I was very worried initially as i have a senior cat with some health issues and my other is very shy and quick to refuse food when stressed. She was very confident when we met her and when we introduced her to the cats both of them immediately took to her. This was a first for us as again my one cat has never been so friendly upon meeting someone for the first time but I genuinely believe it was because she has a fantastic personality and animal handling skills. For two weeks she was prompt and clear with her communication and took great photos that made me feel comfortable about my cats' condition. Of course, there were also funny moments she was able to capture which really put me at ease. She was able to identify their patterns of behavior and made notes on it. I appreciate her thoughtfulness on refilling their litter and water fountain. The most memorable thing she did for us was when we were delayed an extra day coming back for our vacation she was completely understanding and agreed to watch the cats on such extremely short notice. If I ever have to get a pet sitter again I know that she will be my first choice going forward. Thank you Jasmin!!”

“Andra was awesome and took great care of our 2 cats while we were away for six days. I don't even think our cats even missed us. We would definitely use her again for our next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Matthew was great with our girls. He varied the drop in visit times which worked out great for our 2 dogs. He spent time playing with them and gave them lots of pets and cuddles. Thank you for looking after our girls while we were away.”

“Leaving your gang is always tough when you have aging pets who require extra love and attention. We have two senior dogs and one very old cat, so I was incredibly nervous about being away for an entire week. Thankfully, we found Jessica, and she was absolutely amazing! From the very start, she understood exactly how to care for our older crew. Every single day, she kept us completely in the loop with a million silly photos of our gang getting treats, snuggling up, and playing. Seeing them so happy and relaxed completely took away all our travel anxiety. Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our sweet seniors were comfortable, loved, and well-cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. 10/10—we will absolutely be booking her again!”

About: My goal is to make sure that your pet feels as safe and loved while you are away as they do when you are at home. Pet Care is natural part of my daily routine and something I truly enjoy. I plan my schedule to ensure every pet receives the time, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, administering medications if needed, or simply providing companionship, I make each visit a priority. If at any time my schedule does not allow for that, I would not accept the assignment. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable and I love building lasting relationships with both pets and their families. When caring for pets in my clients' homes I do everything I can to keep the routine as normal as possible. I also respect your home, keep everything clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy, safe and well cared for.
“Megahn was so helpful for us and our pups with a pretty last-minute request! She gave us peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. I highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your fur babies!”

About: Hi everyone! Finally updated my profile. I have been caring for pets for over 6 years! Dogs and cats all breeds and ages. While I don’t have many services on this platform, I have done 200 services! Although I work full time, I always have time to care for pets in the area. Whether that’s boarding, sitting, or a drop in visit. There’s always someone in my home so your pet will never be alone! :) I have a great sized fenced back yard, a Yorkie who’s about 7lbs. My dog is no bother she’s very relaxed and stays to herself unless wanting cuddles and pets.
“Amy went above and beyond! All of our cat’s needs were met and then some. Furthermore, she’s incredibly understanding, kind, and responsible. The photos we received daily were plentiful and adorable too. Couldn’t have chosen a better person for this job while we were away!”

About: My youngest son (he’s 20) and I have many years of Rover experience taking care of dogs and yes, even some cats! We live out in Georgetown. We have a puppy who has tons of energy and loves people and dogs. Let's meet and see if they can be friends! We are trained by the Humane Society as dog walkers and have volunteered for years. We love dogs! We are friendly, loving, caring animal lovers. I work full-time. Therefore, please let me know if your fur baby has issues with being in the crate. Let us know if they have separation anxiety or can be left home alone without being in the crate. How often does your baby need to go outside. I do have a fenced in yard. We love dogs and have taken care of them for years. My youngest son when home from college assists me. He graduated high school with his vet science certificate. He’s currently studying marine science.
“Allison did a wonderful job checking on my fur babies! She stopped by earlier in the week to meet my pets so they would be more comfortable with her. I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Your fur babies will be in great hands!”

About: I've had dogs in the house all my life. I've dealt with puppies as well as senior dogs. I've also cared for small dogs as well as very large dogs. I am a full time college student but I'm available on weekends, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after 5, Thursdays after 4, and Fridays after 1. I love to play with pets both inside and outside depending on your area and if you have a fence. I also enjoy walking around Savannah.
About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.
“Ally was wonderful! She took the time to get to know our pets, especially our reactive guy and it was obvious she had experience and knew how to approach and keep an anxious dog calm. All of our pets love her, even our difficult pup!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 15. I often took care 5 dogs for multiple days for family friends whenever they would go on vacation. I also have an elderly family dog who I love and often take care of for weekends. I'm currently working part time and have plenty of time to play and take care of your pet. I am also available for boarding on the weekend or if you need a in-house petsitter. I have a fenced in-yard with lots of room to play and run around. I also live in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac, perfect for going on walks.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Georgetown
I had a pleasant experience with Megahn over the holidays. She took care of my cat, was flexible with our dates and times, and communicated well throughout the stay. Everything went smoothly and we appreciated her reliability, especially during a busy time of year.

Anna did a fantastic job looking after my animals and was extra communicative to make sure things were just right for them. She was very thorough with the details of everything and quickly gained my full trust, even cleaning up the occasional mess... The babies are always safe in her care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Georgetown. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
