Dog lover who gives peace of mind
I've been a dog owner for the last 20 years. Last September I lost my last dog at the age of 15. Dogs have been a huge part of my life and I understand the importance of finding a trusted sitter who will give undivided love and attention to a furbaby. I always had a hard time finding a sitter because I had such high standards for my pets. Now that my dog has passed I'd like to give back to others as well as spend time with dogs. I just believed they are greatest gifts and would be honored to cherish them as you do. At the same time give a peace of mind while you are traveling that your pet is in responsible and loving hands.

We can’t thank Rickie enough for taking such amazing care of our 2 high energy austrailian shepherds. This is the second time we’ve boarded our pups with Rickie, and even after a whole year in between, our dogs were so happy to see her and excited to be back in her home. Rickie kept us updated each day with texts and photos of their morning walks, meal times, play sessions and bed times, which kept our minds so at ease throughout the long weekend. Rickie is more than a 5 star rating and is the best sitter we’ve ever had for our dogs. Even though we live in FL now, we will continue to seek rickie out for future trips with how great she is with our dogs. We couldn’t thank Rickie enough for everything!

Schedule
I work from home and have reliable transportation. My schedule can be very flexible for most needs. I prefer to have at least 1-3 days notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back yard. My neighborhood is very safe and easy to for walks. I currently do not have pets but I do have toys and beds if necessary to keep a dog comfortable. I allow pets on my furniture and if they need to sleep in a bed that is fine by me.
A typical day
I believe walks are essential for healthy pet living. I know dogs like a schedule so I would provide to their needs. I love playing fetch or give them their favorite toys. If owners request or approve, I'm happy to take them to dog parks or walking trails for field trips. If they enjoy sitting outside or cuddle on a couch I'm happy to oblige. I'm a rapid responder and will provide plenty of updates, pictures, and videos to assure you that your furbaby is safe and happy.
