About: Hi, I’m Toccara! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve cared for pets of all kinds like dogs, cats, birds, bunnies. I have officially been pet sitting since I was 16 and have also been working at a dog daycare for the past four months, where gained lots of experience with pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am currently working part-time at my job. On days that I am off from work I usually have a very open schedule past 10am and can always make discussion on what you prefer!! When caring for pets in my home I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their usual routines with feeding, walks, and playtime, and I pay attention to their individual needs and personalities. I treat every dog like they’re my own, giving them plenty of affection and care. I am gentle, patient, and attentive and have especially learned these things from working with dogs. and would never do anything to harm an animal. Working at a dog daycare also helped me learn about different sickness and what to look out for dogs when something isn’t right or if they need medical attention.

About: I focus on purposeful walks that help dogs feel balanced and secure rather than rushed or overstimulated. I keep my client list intentionally manageable so every dog receives focused attention and consistent care. I maintain a flexible schedule and am available for dog walks throughout the day and week. While my routine is structured to ensure reliability, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of times, including evenings, based on client needs. In my own home and in clients homes, I prioritize cleanliness, structure, and routine. I maintain a calm environment, monitor behavior closely, and ensure pets are always secure, supervised, and comfortable. I respect boundaries and follow care instructions exactly as provided.

About: Caring for animals has never felt like a job to me, it’s something I’ve been passionate about my entire life. I have had 10 different cats throughout my life, and lived with 4 large dogs. Growing up surrounded by pets taught me that every animal has a unique personality, and I love taking the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Before joining Rover at the beginning of 2026, I built experience pet sitting through Carecom, caring for various breeds and species. I am also fully insured through PCI (Pet Care Insurance) to protect both myself and your pets! I believe professionalism is just as important as compassion, so you can always count on reliable communication, dependable care, and respect for both your home and your pets. I have over eight years of experience caring for large-breed and energetic dogs, as well as cats, birds, and aquatic pets. I’m experienced in administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m Animal CPR & First Aid certified. I’m elated to provide your babies the same level of attention and love I’d want for my own pets. If you feel I may be a good fit for your family, please consider reading my business policies below. If you have any questions about these policies at any time please reach out! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
