“Frank took wonderful care of our anxious (but sweet) Bernedoodle puppy, Mia. Mia absolutely loved him and it was huge peace of mind to know she was in good hands. Frank was kind, professional, and communicative. We would absolutely have him take care of our dog again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone!”

“We spent our vacation on Hilton Head Island and left the dogs with Madison for two days due to some day trips we had planned out of the island. The dogs absolutely loved it, I will book Madison again when we come back next time. Highly recommended”

“Our Chocolate Lab spent the day with Marston and his 2 pups while we explored Savanna. This is my first experience using Rover and it is intimidating to leave our sweet Charlie with someone we do not know. I read his reviews and was confident I was making the right decision. Once we met him and his dogs I knew Charlie was in good hands. Charlie ran right in to party. He sent pictures of their adventures. Charlie came home exhausted. I highly recommend Marston.”

About: I’ve always had my own dogs until recently( long, happy lives). I often take care of friends’ dogs and I’m always asked back! Now, instead of having my own I like helping take care of those in need🤗 I am a teacher on Summer recovery!! My schedule is pretty flexible right now! During the school year hours of work are 8:00-4:00. With proper notice, I can make availability. My home is a short distance from where I teach making it easy for a short walk between work hours! My house is on a cul-de-sac with a large backyard. Yard is not fenced but I have a nice sized patio with dog gate! Perfect neighborhood for dog walking and dog park is in close vicinity! I am dog-friendly with a dog-less home!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve volunteered with veterinary offices and the Humane Society, and I understand the patience, responsibility, and love animals need to feel safe and happy. I live locally in the Landings and I work from home, which means your pets will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day in a quiet, smoke-free, child-free environment. I also have a fenced in yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. My two friendly dogs absolutely love having visitors and get along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Whether your pet stays with us for boarding, I stay in your home, or I stop by for drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your furry family members, and I’ll treat your babies like they’re my own. We can’t wait to meet them! I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule which means your pets will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. For in home visits, I am dependable with visit times. I know how much peace of mind matters when leaving your pets, and I’ll treat yours like family while you’re gone. Your dog will stay in a quiet, clean, child-free and smoke-free home where their comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced section of yard for supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, and fresh air. My two small dogs are loving, friendly, and enjoy having furry friends visit! Dogs are welcome on the furniture, so they’ll have plenty of cozy spots to relax and feel at home. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space, I’m also happy to crate them as needed for sleeping, feeding, or downtime based on your routine and preferences.

“Jennifer was terrific and kindly boarded my dog last minute. He came back in great shape and Jennifer was easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend her!”

“Fernanda was super sweet and attentive with Murphy. She was very good with communication before during and after his day care visit. Fernanda sent pictures during his stay and he was very relaxed and happy. I recommend her for your fur baby too.”

“Abby was so great with Lenny! Very welcoming and caring with all the doggos. Abby gave us a good tour of her dog sitting setup when we first arrived and provided us with updates while we were away.”

“Karen was amazing with my two pups. I was worried about dropping off my pup, Kobe, since he can be afraid of strangers and has separation anxiety. He took to Karen immediately and didn’t even bark when we left. He seemed to make himself at home right away. Karen kept us updated with pics throughout the day, and Kobe had such a wonderful time that he didn’t even really notice when we came to pick him up. I’d definitely hire Karen again the next time we’re in town!”

“Allyson was very considerate of Pip's fear of stormy weather. She also sent me updates throughout the day which I really appreciated. Thanks again for taking care of my Pip!”

“Knox loved being with Amanda for hod first Doggy Day Care experience in Savannah. When we arrived to pick him up we could see how happy he was to be in her home and having a great time playing.”

“Molly treated my dog Mia like an absolute queen! My boyfriend and I last minute decided to take a trip to Savannah and needed a sitter for a day. Molly responded quick! She let Mia bathe in her pool and come in and out of the house as she pleased. Would recommend her services!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
