“Elizabeth is an actual gem! She not only has completely got on with Bella, but she is so good at keeping me updated and always has a great sense of humor. She is super communicative and takes in to consideration any issues Bella is having. Thank you a million times Elizabeth!”

“Vicky was great, very conscientious and caring! She stopped by beforehand to meet our dog, who took to her right away, and she communicated well with us while we were away. She put in extra time to make sure our dog was comfortable and received the care he needed. We definitely felt our little guy was in good hands with Vicky.”

About: I grew up with dogs, will take any opportunity to play with a dog and believe dogs are mankind’s greatest gift! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and love to be active with dogs! About: I have taken care of puppies of relatives and acquaintances approximately between 3-2 years, they have trusted that I will treat them with all the love in the world, give them their food, take them out to do their needs, bathe them, give them their medications and play with them. I have also taken care of kittens, played with them, given them food and water, cleaned their litter box. My daily routine is to go for a walk with my baby two or three times a day depending on the dog's schedule to go out, my routine is very calm I live in an apartment complex which has a special park just for dogs and green areas to be able to spend it quietly mind, I give him a prize that is allowed by the owner, and I take him out to do his needs. When I take care of the dog at the owner's house I do a quiet routine, walk him to stretch and go to the bathroom, return home to rest and refresh, give him a reward that the owner agrees to use, play a little with the dog and give him a last walk to do his needs, if the owner needs me to give him dinner I do it with pleasure.

I am a college student at usc upstate who wants to give back to the community and by helping people out with their furry friends. I take my dog on a walk when it is not to hot out so her paws don’t hurt. I make sure the walk isn’t to long but also not to short.
“Cassie has been awesome for our pup. She is punctual, consistent, and loving. This gives me a great peace of mind knowing Molly is in good hands. She communicates effectively, providing updates and sharing photos. She ensures Molly is comfortable…which has been difficult in the past as she is very timid. I highly recommend Cassie as a dedicated dog walker/caregiver.”

Brittany is my dream pet sitter! After my first booking with her, she left the best first impression. I hired Brittany (pretty last minute, too!) to walk my dog while I was out of town, and she went above and beyond. She ensured that his water bowl was full, he went poop and pee on all of his walks, he got plenty of fresh air time, and lots of pets and love. Brittany was also kind enough to spend some time with my Kitty during her visits, and provided photos of both pets to ensure me that they were in great hands with her. I will be very happy to have the opportunity to hire Brittany again, and refer her to anyone needing a fantastic sitter or walker!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Brighton Beach. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. - 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
