About: I used to help out a family friend with her dog sitting business, and have experience with taking care of all types of dogs. From little to small, cats or dogs I am very adaptable to what each pet needs. I'm a caring person and I would go out of my way to make sure a dog is happy. I pride myself on being reliable and punctual while updating pet parents with photos and reports after every visit. I treat your pets and your home with the utmost care and respect. Growing up I have had a dog with three legs, so I have learned how to take care of dogs that may need extra care and I love to figure out how to make a pet feel comfortable and safe, as well as have fun. I have experience with training puppies, as well as taking care of older pets that may need medications. I’m happy to provide walks to play sessions, as well as watering plants or taking in mail to ensure your home is secure while you’re away. Im currently working close to full time, but I have flexible hours to fit the needs of when to stop by to take care of your pets. It’s healthcare so my schedule tends to change quite often and sometimes I end up with days off during the week. I can do morning or night visits, as well as day ones during the weekend. I do have a dog of my own so my ability to stay overnight can vary but I’m always willing to board a dog that is friendly. I can easily help with crating your dog if that is needed, I crate my dog that I have at home. I’m willing to go out of my way to make your dog comfortable with me and will take the time to ensure trust. I am willing to take your pet for a long walk or spend time with them to make them feel less lonely.
“Madison kept my English Cocker for a week while I had Drs appointments in S FL and although Kelly can’t talk (my dog) I know she had a good time and Madison kept me informed and accommodated my needs above and beyond the call. My Kelly is “low maintenance”…I am “high” and Madison rolled with it and made us both smile. The best!!! SB”

“Nakita and her family were wonderful. She kept me updated with photos and videos of Rosie having a great time. Would definitely use again. Rosie was well loved and cared for in their home!”

“Emily was so amazing to our billie ❤️ she sent us photos throughout the day and billie just adored her !! We willl definitely be using her from now on and recommend her 100%!”

“I left my 2 year old lab Belle with Julie and Chris so we could go on our family vacation for one week. At the meet and greet Julie asked all the necessary questions on how to take care of Belle. Belle and Parma were instant friends at the meet and greet! I feel lucky to have found such nice people to take care of Belle in our neighborhood. I received daily updates on Belle pictures and videos. I highly recommend Julie and Chris they are true dog people!!!”

About: I have over 25 years experience taking care of all breeds of dogs, cats, lizards, fish and just about anything else you can think of. Whether you have a senior or special needs fur baby, one with a lot of extra energy or if you'd just like your fur-kid to have some extra attention while you're at work or away, I'm open to whatever their needs are and taking care of them. I am self employed so I make my own schedule. Therefore I'm available to work around daily walks, play times, feedings or whatever is needed. I am open to doing whatever you recommend when staying in your home. I find it's easier on them when very little changes while you're gone, so I like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible.
“I chose Edra to watch Ollie because every single review she had was perfect, and that’s exactly the experience Ollie got when he stayed with her during my work trip - perfect! She’s very sweet, made Ollie feel at home, and catered to his quirks and needs just like I would have at home. I highly recommend Edra to watch your dog and will absolutely call on her again in the future!”

“Absolutely loved having Kim watch Benji! As a crazy dog mom who always worries about leaving her dog for a trip, I had such peace of mind knowing Kim was spending time with my dog. She kept me updated constantly and sent pictures. She is truly very attentive to my pup and let me know of any change in his behavior/routine. She also has two of the sweetest little pups, as well, which is an added bonus! Couldn’t recommend Kim more! ?”

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years and have been petsitting for even longer than that! I have experience working with some furry friends who need a little bit of assistance (bladder and bowel expression, wheelchairs, special feeding and medication administration) I love all species and understand the different temperaments and attitudes that come with each animal. My house is set up to accommodate the shyest of dogs to the most hyper energetic ones. We have a large fenced in yard to run around in, a comfy couch to snuggle up on, lots of toys to share and a special room in case they need space to decompress. I am certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support so your animal will be cared for and taken care of in every aspect :) I am currently a stay at home mom with my two year old son who loves animals just as much as I do! We go for multiple walks a day or we’re playing outside in the backyard. If we leave the house it isn’t for more than 2 hours at a time. I am trained in animal handling and animal safety. Your pets safety and happiness are my main concerns. I am willing to work with whatever your pet is comfortable with and can even help with tips and tricks to make them feel a little more comfortable when their humans are away!
“Ashley and her family took great care of our little schnauzer. She communicated clearly and quickly, gave us updates and photos and was very flexible. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a loving family environment for their pet!”

“no has ever taken such good care of xander ever. he’s an older dog that needs a lot of assistance and she always kills it. she send photos and constant updates. 100/10.”
“Greer was an amazing and accommodating sitter. This was my first time leaving my pup overnight on Rover. She gave me great updates and pictures. My dog was so comfortable and happy in her home. The love she showed Dulce gave me peace of mind. I would absolutely book again and recommend her to everyone!”

“Marston took great care of my dog, Pepper. She didn't want to leave when I picked her up! Marston sent pictures of her having fun with other dogs he was caring for. I could tell when we went for a meet-and-greet that he is a real dog-lover. I would definitely ask him to dogsit again.”

“Beth was terrific with my little girl! My dog is elderly, and she saw how concerned I was leaving her alone, so she was right on the ball and texted me how she was doing and even sent videos so I could see her. I definitely will ask her again to watch my dog when/if we ever take another little trip.”

“Austin was by far the best Rover experience I’ve had. My dog was slap tired after all the fun outings around Savannah. You can tell he gives the dogs he cares for lots of love and attention.”

“I had the most fantastic experience with my dog's sitter! John and his wife were incredibly caring, attentive, and responsible. My fur baby was treated like a member of their own family. I received daily updates, videos and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. What made the experience even more special was that they offered grooming services, which he desperately needed. This added convenience was a huge bonus. His before and after pictures are incredible! I can't recommend them enough, and I'll definitely be booking their services again in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of my four-legged baby!”

“We fee so lucky to have found Shana on Rover. She took such great care of Dora, our senior dog. Dora has some cognitive dysfunction and has special needs, so we were very nervous about finding someone to watch her. Shortly after meeting Shana, we knew Dora would be in good hands. I can’t imagine anyone caring for her as well as Shana did. We highly recommend Shana and would definitely use her services again without hesitation.”

Conecia took such wonderful care of our cat Pickles. He seemed to have a great time with her family, and made some new kitty friends. We picked him up happy, and with some new recommendations for favorite foods. We are very grateful that Pickles was in such great care while we were away, and would highly recommend Conecia for your kitty's time away from home. Thank you again!
We had a wonderful experience with Taylor, while her and her family watched our dog, Hopper! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely comfortable knowing he was in great hands. They took excellent care of him, gave him plenty of attention, and kept us updated while we were away. It was obvious that Hopper was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We truly appreciate the love and attention they gave him and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. We will definitely use them again! 🐾❤️

Bill was wonderful. I have never left Daisy with anyone except my Dad, and was worried about how she would do. Bill sent reports and pictures daily and Daisy seemed very comfortable and content. I was happy that he did walks and doggie park. She had some issues with accidents and he was great at problem solving. I would recommend him to anyone. It was clear from the very beginning that she liked him....and didn't even look back at me as he led her inside. Definitely check his availability.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
