“Angela has been wonderful with our pup! She is very reliable and always messages in advance if she is running late or has questions. We have worked with her for a few months now and will continue to do so!”
“I was in Tahoe and couldn't return home, so I urgently needed someone to walk my dog. Yao helped quickly despite my absence. Thank you very much for walking Ruby twice, in the morning and evening, on short notice.”

About: I have lived with cats and a dog since I was a little kid. I have learned to take care of them and walk my dog around the neighborhood. Also, my aunt owned a small farm so I grew up around some bigger animals. (Recent pictures attached =) ) Currently I live in a small place in Burlingame so unfortunately, I don’t have place for a furry friend. Thus, I am looking forward to walk and play with your dog! I have a full time job but it has a pretty flexible schedule. I can adjust my agenda to walk your dog when it is more convenient for you. I an currently not ready to host a pet at my place but as soon as a I have a bigger space your pet will be welcomed.
“Nadine has done a wonderful job walking Yumi on a daily basis. She is punctual, reliable and does a great job. I would highly recommend and look forward to her continuing to walk my dog.”

“Allison has been such an amazing "friend" to our dog, Kona. We can tell how much Kona is loved and cared for while we are away at work and school. We get regular updates on how Kona is doing, including pictures! Would definitely recommend Allison for your dog's needs!”
About: Taking care of dogs started for me with my wonderful and energetic Airedale in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. I also take pride in leaving your house as nice as when arrived. For long stays or short, I’m happy to help. I am currently working part time nearby and I am not planning holiday travel, so I’ll have plenty of time for quality visits with your dogs! Your pets and your home environment are important to you. I will exercise the utmost care with both and make sure you feel comfortable entrusting me with either or both.
About: Animals have always been at the heart of both my life and my work. As a trained veterinarian with experience in both small and large animal care, I bring knowledge, gentleness, and genuine warmth to every dog I care for. I grew up with two dogs in a home that truly loved animals, and my dad is also a great animal lover, which made compassion for pets a natural part of my upbringing. I have looked after a dog named Timber while living with my host family, and I have also taken my friends’ dogs on walks. Together, these experiences have shaped a thoughtful, dependable, and affectionate approach to both dog sitting and walking. My goal is to make each dog feel safe, understood, and loved, while giving owners peace of mind. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my routine. I aim to be attentive, dependable, and caring with each dog. If you let me know ahead of time, I am happy to see what flexibility may be possible. Trust and safety are at the heart of how I care for animals. As a trained veterinarian, I bring both knowledge and a calm, observant approach to every dog I look after. I pay attention to each dog’s comfort, behavior, energy, and routine, and I believe in creating an environment where they feel secure, respected, and genuinely at ease. In a client’s home, I will care for your dog thoughtfully and responsibly, with warmth, patience, and close attention to detail.

About: I love animals & especially dogs! I am easy to reach, attentive, patient & communicative. I look forward to meeting new dogs & going on adventures with them, be it the park or around the block. I am planning on taking a career break which will make me available every day. My schedule will be flexible, including days of week as well as times of day. I am happy to follow the direction of a client’s preferences when it comes to how they would like their pet to be taken care of.
About: Puppies are my specialty. I have raised over 20 puppies for multiple service dog organizations as well as fostering for a few different rescues. With my experience as a veterinary technician I am very familiar with the care of older pets and those with special needs. I also have almost 20 years of experience walking dogs for other people. I currently work full time but mostly swings shifts 3pm -11pm, so I am available before 3pm while most people are at work. I am also available for late night visits if needed. I treat every client's pet as I would my own. Creating a positive relationship with the animals I work with is most important to me.
About: I grew up with pets and have been taking care of pets my entire life. My two cats, Prairie and Siberia, are uniquely special to me and I love them dearly. I give the same care and attention to my client’s pets. Walking is great exercise, and to walk a cool dog at the same time is ideal! Mon - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Tue - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Wed - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Thur - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Fri - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Sat - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Sun - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm I would make sure that all the water and food for the pets is taken care of, I will be glad to walk and play with the dogs outside and with cats inside your home (if needed). I also complete any other miscellaneous tasks required related to taking care of your pets, i.e. cleaning the litter, replenishing water, food, brushing, etc.
About: I can care for your cat or dog (or both!) while making sure to play with them to keep them energized and happy. I look forward to meeting your adorable fur babies! I am in school, but I take online classes to ensure I can take the time to care for pets along with my part-time job. The schedule is consistent each week, and I am available for drop-ins every day. I keep an eye on my cat and dog when they are outside. With a fenced yard, I am able to watch them closely to make sure they do not jump. Inside the home, I always keep an eye on them to make sure they are safe.
“Doug took my two big dogs for a 60 minute daily walk during a week that I was away. He and his family clearly love dogs and sometimes his wife and/or adult daughter would join him for the exercise and entertainment. He sent pictures, was 100% reliable, and was a great communicator. My dogs will miss their daily time with him! Thank you, Doug!”

“Just saw this, sorry it’s belated. Jeremy is the best. We have a rescue Shepherd that we’ve had for about 4 months. She’s a very sweet dog, but if given a chance, she RUNS away. I mean she BOLTS! I know floor I’ll join you. I don’t know. Jeremy is the one I picked from all the others, and my intuition was right. He’s the only one we trust Heidi with. When he took her on the first walk, we didn’t worry a second!! Thank you, Jeremy!!!”

San Mateo Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Vivian did really great with Ollie on his walks. Ollie isn’t the easiest dog to walk as he’s really anxious about his surroundings but Vivian did the most to encourage him and made sure he got his steps in! She showed up on time for the 3 walks we had and sent pictures and communicates very well! Ollie usually takes a long time to warm up to new people but after his first walk with Vivian they were friends so I know she’s taking very good care of him :)

We have known Kendra for last couple months. She is reliable and excellent with our pet. She is always on time and makes sure to give our pooch Tanner a great walk. She also administers oral meds with no difficulty. We are glad to have found Kendra and highly recommend her for all your pet needs.
