“Rumi may have found her new favorite person in Lizbeth! Rumi is still a puppy and she can sometimes be a bit distracted while on walks. With Lizbeth, however, loose leash walking around the neighborhood wasn't a problem at all, even with skateboarders nearby and leaves blowing in the wind (her absolute favorite thing to lunge at). Lizbeth was communicative, prompt, and from the big smile Rumi had after she came home from her walk, you could just tell that Lizbeth has a special way with dogs. We absolutely loved our experience with Lizbeth and would highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I am a pet lover who would love to help out owners of furry friends. I have dog walked and pet sat cats and dogs for over 5 years. I’m a college student, home for the summer, so I have time all throughout the day and week. I’d be happy to help whenever needed! I make sure all pets feel comfortable, safe, and entertained by paying close attention to their cues and the messages they send through their actions. I have been pet sitting for my neighbors, friends, etc. for over 5 years and have a dog of my own so I have seen it all!
About: I’m a loving cat mom of 5+ years with a lifetime of experience caring for cats of all ages. I’m competent in simple dog training and am open to dog-sitting/walking, but cats are by far my specialty. I have proven experience building trust and bonding quickly with new cats, even those with behavioral issues or shy demeanors. I’m a teacher looking for extra summer work, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry friends June-August! I can make up to 5 visits on weekends and 3 visits on select weekdays. I will be nannying part time and will be available before 2pm and after 6pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please message me with any questions! I am soft, gentle and empathetic with all new pets I meet, especially when I’m entering their safe space! My cat was a mean, shy little boy when I adopted him at 7 months; but now at 5 years he’s happy and comfy as can be. I hope to provide this same experience for your pets, whether it be a short drop in or an overnight visit.
“Andy was an awesome dog walker. He was prompt and made sure my dog got her full hour. You can tell he is a dog person who cares and understands dogs. Iggy loved walking with Andy and Milo.”

About: I love spending time with animals and treat every pet like they're part of my own family. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you're away. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I'll make sure they get plenty of attention and love. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I can administer oral and subcutaneous medications. I am happy to provide references from former Gilead and Genentech colleagues as well as neighbors. My best friend’s brother is a police detective who knows me well. I graduated with a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, then went on and completed my MBA at Cornell University. I stopped working recently, so I have plenty of time to devote and dedicate to pet sitting. I am available mornings, afternoons and nights, depending on what you and your pet’s schedule requires. Please note I do not offer boarding or pet care services in my own home. I have 2 cats who need to be the only animals in the house.
“Doug took my two big dogs for a 60 minute daily walk during a week that I was away. He and his family clearly love dogs and sometimes his wife and/or adult daughter would join him for the exercise and entertainment. He sent pictures, was 100% reliable, and was a great communicator. My dogs will miss their daily time with him! Thank you, Doug!”

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.

About: I have had dogs and cats under my care my whole life. One cat had ceribal hypoplasia and required assistance with all aspects of life bathroom, walking, getting into bed for naps and eating. About: Animals have always been at the heart of both my life and my work. As a trained veterinarian with experience in both small and large animal care, I bring knowledge, gentleness, and genuine warmth to every dog I care for. I grew up with two dogs in a home that truly loved animals, and my dad is also a great animal lover, which made compassion for pets a natural part of my upbringing. I have looked after a dog named Timber while living with my host family, and I have also taken my friends’ dogs on walks. Together, these experiences have shaped a thoughtful, dependable, and affectionate approach to both dog sitting and walking. My goal is to make each dog feel safe, understood, and loved, while giving owners peace of mind. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my routine. I aim to be attentive, dependable, and caring with each dog. If you let me know ahead of time, I am happy to see what flexibility may be possible. Trust and safety are at the heart of how I care for animals. As a trained veterinarian, I bring both knowledge and a calm, observant approach to every dog I look after. I pay attention to each dog’s comfort, behavior, energy, and routine, and I believe in creating an environment where they feel secure, respected, and genuinely at ease. In a client’s home, I will care for your dog thoughtfully and responsibly, with warmth, patience, and close attention to detail.

Rumi may have found her new favorite person in Lizbeth! We absolutely loved our experience with Lizbeth and would highly recommend her!

Heleen is absolutely delightful. She is clearly very knowledgeable about dogs, especially dogs who are shy or anxious. Pepper acclimated to her very quickly, and I felt 100% comfortable when she took him for the first walk. I can tell she has excellent judgment and substantial skills working with dogs. We are already planning for future services. Thank you, Heleen!

Hope was so easy to work with and Harper loved her! I could tell Harper enjoyed her time with Hope because on the second walk day she rushed to the door to greet Hope with her tail a wagging! On both days Harper was joyful and perfectly tired when she was returned. Hope was professional and friendly. I will hire Hope again in the future!

Lauri is absolutely amazing with our anxious rescue Piper. From the very first meet-and-greet where she showed up in bright colored leggings so that Piper could identify her, to her very patient steps to build trust and rapport with our pup and each family member (even remembering career paths and school trips!), Lauri is nothing but pure heart, sincerity, and kindness. This particular neighborhood walk turned into last minute daycare on our mutual continual conversations, when we all could see Piper coming out of her shell. One of Lauri’s many great talents is being able to discern the limits of our Piper — when to challenge her and when to give her space — and this gift has been rewarded with Piper welcoming Lauri with a greater speed than she ever has anyone else. We are thrilled to have found Lauri and know that she will be folded into our village for years to come.
