About: I grew up with pets and have been taking care of pets my entire life. My two cats, Prairie and Siberia, are uniquely special to me and I love them dearly. I give the same care and attention to my client’s pets. Walking is great exercise, and to walk a cool dog at the same time is ideal! I also complete any other miscellaneous tasks required related to taking care of your pets, i.e. cleaning the litter, replenishing water, food, brushing, etc.

About: Are you looking for a warm, nurturing and fun environment for your dog who will be looked after like a member of the family? You've found it! My husband, Mike, our small terrier, Stella, and I are very active and outdoorsy people who love being around dogs. We have lots of experience with very active breeds like German Shepherds and Border collies as well as couch potatoes! I worked at a dog day care for several years and have taken dog grooming courses where I learned a bit about doggie first aid. Stella is very friendly dog with a very relaxed demeanor who gets along with every dog she comes across. We live in a welcoming, pet safe house with a completely fenced in backyard. We both work from home often so between us, there's always someone home. We allow dogs on our furniture but please let us know if that's not something you want for your dog and we are happy to accommodate. Both my husband and I work from home often so there is usually someone in the house and we never leave the dogs outside unattended. Our home has a very spacious and fully fenced in backyard, and we have a dog of our own who will be happy to keep yours company. We feed Stella breakfast and dinner on a schedule as opposed to letting her graze all day but we are happy to accommodate if your dog has different requirements. We live walking distance to a wonderful park in downtown San Mateo and do morning and evening walks.

My childhood dog lived to 17 and when he went into adrenal failure, I gave him an IV drip every night. I strongly believe in doing whatever it takes to keep animals under my care healthy and happy! I'm currently doing this full-time, so I can be very flexible when it comes to your schedule. I am free on weekdays and weekends. I travel occasionally and will block off those dates on my calendar ahead of time. I live with my partner and our 2 dogs which gives me the bandwidth to care for your fur babies. I'm all about respecting an animal's boundaries and personal space. I like to give animals a chance to warm up to me and be very patient with them. We currently have a cat in our home and my family also have a dog that I see as often as possible. I enjoy spending time around animals and would love to take care of your pet! Our cat is friendly toward smaller dogs. He has loved playing with dogs at our previous apartment complex. The area we live in has great areas for dog walking. I am also able to close off certain rooms if taking care of a pet where that is needed.

About: Taking care of dogs started for me with my wonderful and energetic Airedale in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. I also take pride in leaving your house as nice as when arrived. For long stays or short, I’m happy to help. I am currently working part time nearby and I am not planning holiday travel, so I’ll have plenty of time for quality visits with your dogs! Your pets and your home environment are important to you.
