About: I grew up with pets and have been taking care of pets my entire life. My two cats, Prairie and Siberia, are uniquely special to me and I love them dearly. I give the same care and attention to my client’s pets. Walking is great exercise, and to walk a cool dog at the same time is ideal! Mon - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Tue - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Wed - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Thur - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Fri - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Sat - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm Sun - any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm I would make sure that all the water and food for the pets is taken care of, I will be glad to walk and play with the dogs outside and with cats inside your home (if needed). I also complete any other miscellaneous tasks required related to taking care of your pets, i.e. cleaning the litter, replenishing water, food, brushing, etc.
About: I love animals and have always grown up around them. I have experience with pets such as cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds and mice. We currently have a cat in our home and my family also have a dog that I see as often as possible. I enjoy spending time around animals and would love to take care of your pet! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. Therefore I am able to spend plenty of quality time with your pet and ready to meet your preferences with routines etc. I will make sure your pet is doing well and follow your instructions closely! Make sure everything is good and that your pet gets attention, playtime and such while you are away. In our apartment complex we have a fenced yard with greenery and also a designated dog area. Our cat is friendly toward smaller dogs. He has loved playing with dogs at our previous apartment complex. The area we live in has great areas for dog walking. I am also able to close off certain rooms if taking care of a pet where that is needed.
About: I’ve shared my life with cats for over 10 years and dogs for just as long, so I know how much peace of mind it brings to have someone who truly “gets” them while you’re away. Every pet has their own little world...some cats want cuddles, some want space, and some just want you to sit nearby. Dogs, too, all have their unique personalities...some are playful and energetic, others are calm companions who just want a steady presence. I love figuring out what makes each pet happiest and tailoring my care to them. When I’m looking after pets, safety and trust are non-negotiable. I stick to your instructions, keep things consistent, and make sure your cat or dog feels secure in their own space (or on their walks). I also like to start with a meet-and-greet so we can all get comfortable, and I’ll send you updates so you never feel out of the loop. I currently work part time so am open to caring for your pets Wednesday-Thursday all day, and Sunday all day. I am also open to morning visits Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday's. I have a large extra room with windows and a bathroom as well as a pet-proofed balcony for pets to ensure safety. I have lots of toys as well as tall cat homes 🏠
“From the first meeting, it was clear that San has a genuine love for dogs. I appreciate the detailed updates and photos I received after each walk, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands. I highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker.”

“Peter was great! He was so good with Norman and he sent me lots of photos. When he came for our original meet and greet, he was right on time and so personable! I will definitely use him again!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life, starting with helping family friends with their cats and dogs when I was younger. I have experience with: 🐾 Dog walking, playtime, and enrichment activities 🐕 Senior pet care, including gentle handling and medication administration 🐱 Cat care, from feeding and litter box cleaning to play and companionship 📸 Providing daily updates with photos and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing What sets me apart is my focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. About: I have been blessed with pets all my life. I have had dogs since I was a child. In the past 5 years I have also helped care for my daughter's amazing cats (a.k.a grandma's urchins). I truly believe animals make us better human beings and the world a better place. I care with endless love, respect and understanding. I work 14 days a month and am home the rest, able and eager to offer your fur babies my full attention and loving care. In my home pers are welcome to roam free and lounge wherever they feel comfortable. I keep my place pet safe, clean and free of clutter. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions and preferences for pet care.
About: Are you looking for a warm, nurturing and fun environment for your dog who will be looked after like a member of the family? You've found it! My husband, Mike, our small terrier, Stella, and I are very active and outdoorsy people who love being around dogs. We have lots of experience with very active breeds like German Shepherds and Border collies as well as couch potatoes! I worked at a dog day care for several years and have taken dog grooming courses where I learned a bit about doggie first aid. Stella is very friendly dog with a very relaxed demeanor who gets along with every dog she comes across. We live in a welcoming, pet safe house with a completely fenced in backyard. We both work from home often so between us, there's always someone home. We allow dogs on our furniture but please let us know if that's not something you want for your dog and we are happy to accommodate. Both my husband and I work from home often so there is usually someone in the house and we never leave the dogs outside unattended. Our home has a very spacious and fully fenced in backyard, and we have a dog of our own who will be happy to keep yours company. We feed Stella breakfast and dinner on a schedule as opposed to letting her graze all day but we are happy to accommodate if your dog has different requirements. We live walking distance to a wonderful park in downtown San Mateo and do morning and evening walks.
“Doug took my two big dogs for a 60 minute daily walk during a week that I was away. He and his family clearly love dogs and sometimes his wife and/or adult daughter would join him for the exercise and entertainment. He sent pictures, was 100% reliable, and was a great communicator. My dogs will miss their daily time with him! Thank you, Doug!”

“Marshall is FANTASTIC! Our dog loved him instantly and Marshall took the time to ask all of the questions that let us know he understands dog care. Super responsible and trustworthy. Marshall is a trained athlete who can handle / run with our large strong dog. Our dog is our child, and I feel 100% comfortable leaving him in Marshall’s care.”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner/sitter with a loving heart. Love all animals. I grow up with a poodle and now have a bernedoodle who is a big sweetheart. For drop off visit, I'll do clean up, feeding, playtime, making sure your baby is well taking care of. I'll take photos on every visit. For dog walking, I'll track my distance and location with App and share with you, taking photos. Can also do feeding and clean up if needed I have a good size fenced yard they can run freely anytime, and AC in my house to keep the pups cool in these hot days. My dog is super friendly to any size and ages dog, he will keep you pup in company during the time.
About: Dogs have been part of my life for over 15 years, from family pets to living with trained police dogs, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of temperaments and energy levels. I’ve even been bitten before and still absolutely respect and love dogs, which means I take safety, body‑language, and clear communication seriously with every interaction and situation. At home, I have a friendly 4‑year‑old Samoyed who keeps me tuned into daily dog needs, from exercise and enrichment to grooming and routine. She is certified by AKC as a Canine Good Citizen. With your permission and if your dog enjoys canine company, my Samoyed may join walks as a calm, fluffy buddy; if not, I’m equally happy to give your pup my full one‑on‑one attention. I follow owner instructions closely, use secure leashes and gear, and avoid risky situations like unsanctioned dog meet‑ups so your dog stays safe while still having a fun, satisfying outing. Pet care is already built into my day because I walk Musubi my Samoyed twice a day and keep her on a consistent routine including grooming. I typically have availability for dog walks, drop‑ins, and daycare blocks during late mornings, afternoons on weekdays, and Saturdays. When I’m with your dog, my focus is on exercise, enrichment, and following your feeding/potty schedule, and I’m happy to add simple grooming touches like brushing/teeth cleaning if your dog is used to it and you request it. Safety and clear communication are my top priorities, whether I’m caring for your dog in your home or out on a walk. I always follow your instructions for gear, feeding, and routines, double‑check doors and gates to prevent escapes, and keep dogs on‑leash unless you’ve approved an enclosed, secure area. For walks, I use secure equipment, avoid crowded or high‑stress situations, and give dogs space from unknown dogs and people unless you’ve said they are comfortable with greetings. For drop‑ins and daycare, I monitor water, potty breaks, and overall behavior, and I send Rover Cards with notes, photos, and timing so you know exactly how the visit went. For training sessions, I focus on calm, rewarding balanced‑based handling and will only use methods and cues we’ve agreed on in advance, so your dog gets consistent guidance instead of mixed signals. If my own Samoyed is ever included as a walking buddy, it will only be with your permission, after a proper introduction, and only if it supports your dog’s comfort and training goals. Musubi my Samoyed is AKC certified as a Canine Good Citizen, and I can help train yours to become one as well.
About: Taking care of dogs started for me with my wonderful and energetic Airedale in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. I also take pride in leaving your house as nice as when arrived. For long stays or short, I’m happy to help. I am currently working part time nearby and I am not planning holiday travel, so I’ll have plenty of time for quality visits with your dogs! Your pets and your home environment are important to you. I will exercise the utmost care with both and make sure you feel comfortable entrusting me with either or both.
“Leaving our beloved Daisy for two weeks while out of the country was tough, but Noah made it so much easier with his incredibly compassionate and reliable care. Knowing she was in such trustworthy hands, being walked twice a day, truly put our hearts at ease. The thoughtful updates we received were a true comfort. Each notice, complete with a sweet photo of Daisy, details of her adventures, and confirmation of her meals, made us feel connected and reassured. It was clear that Noah didn't just walk Daisy; he treated her with genuine affection, as if she were a cherished member of his own family. We feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to have found Noah. His kindness and the genuine bond he formed with Daisy were truly special. Without a doubt, Noah will be our first call for any future dog walking or companionship needs. He provides not just a service, but a loving and caring presence for our furry family member.”

“Katherine was terrific with our dog! She responded to our urgent request quickly (we had a funeral to attend and our dog walker set up didn't work out) and she did a lovely job with him. We got a report card and pics and the overall communication with Katherine was great. Highly recommend!!”

Baywood-Aragon dog parents share their Rover experiences
We have known Kendra for last couple months. She is reliable and excellent with our pet. She is always on time and makes sure to give our pooch Tanner a great walk. She also administers oral meds with no difficulty. We are glad to have found Kendra and highly recommend her for all your pet needs.

Lauri has walked our Samoyed, Elsa, for over a year now, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. It is incredibly rare to find someone we trust so completely with our precious dog, and Lauri is exactly that person. She has a true gift with dogs—Elsa absolutely adores her and gets visibly excited every time she arrives for a walk. Lauri thoughtfully implements and tailors training techniques specifically for Elsa, reinforcing good behavior and helping her continue to grow. She is always open to feedback and genuinely cares about doing what’s best for Elsa. Lauri is also extremely communicative, providing detailed updates, photos, and thoughtful feedback after each walk. Beyond her professionalism, she is simply a kind and good person—going above and beyond in ways that don’t go unnoticed (she even helps bring in our trash bins). We highly, highly recommend Lauri to anyone looking for an exceptional, trustworthy, and caring dog walker.

Larissa is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend her. My pup can be a bit reactive at first meeting, but Larissa was a true professional and put her at ease. My pup warmed up to her very quickly and I can confidently say that she feels happy and safe on walks. Great communication and very reliable. We are so glad we found Larissa!

Heleen was very punctual and prompt in responding. She came to walk lucky at exactly 7:45am which I really appreciated. She was transparent in communicating any potential concerns walking Lucky in our busy neighborhood. Would definitely have her walk our dog again!

Francis lived up to every hoped-for expectation for someone to walk my pooch twice a day. He came to the house at the agreed upon time, communicated well with me, sent photos and a video, and when my energetic dog wanted to run Francis didn't hold him back but ran with him! I'm sure my dog will miss his runs with Francis! I don't hesitate to recommend him in any way. Look at the photos of him with animals and you'll understand why he's so good.

So happy Amy was available last minute to walk our precious pup today. Amy was super reliable, arrived promptly at the agreed time and followed all our instructions perfectly. She was very understanding of our dog's nervousness and sent detailed notes and photos, All in all Amy did a great job and I would have not hesitation rebooking with her or recommending her to other pet owners. Thanks Amy!
