“Heleen was very punctual and prompt in responding. She came to walk lucky at exactly 7:45am which I really appreciated. She was transparent in communicating any potential concerns walking Lucky in our busy neighborhood. Would definitely have her walk our dog again!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emmy! She’s walked our dog Wiggles daily for several months now and has taken care of him (and our cat) while we have been out of town for several days. Emmy is so thoroughly capable that knowing that our dog is well cared for is one thing we never worry about while we’re away. Emmy has terrific sense for what animals want and need – she even manages to coax our elusive cat out of hiding when she visits. Emmy has a firm yet loving manner that our highly neurotic Cotton really responds to, and she’s taught us a few new tricks too about how to look after him! As an added bonus, her photography skills are excellent and it’s great fun to receive her wonderful photos each time she visits. Two thumbs (and all paws) up for Emmy!”

About: I have volunteered in dog shelters + rescues for 4 years and worked in a dog clinic for a couple years under a veterinarian (Dog Adoption and Welfare Group and Carl Zaboly DVM in Santa Barbara, CA), so I am familiar with the behaviors of our bestest friends. I live in an apartment next to Leo J Ryan park and walking distance from Foster City dog park, where my small dog Mocha loves to play with other dogs. For boarding, if your dog is prone to anxiety around people and other dogs, I request that a short meet and greet be done prior. This is to ensure that your dog and I will be a good fit and to familiarize your dog with my presence. I work from home majority of the week, so walks will be given three times a day. If the weather permits, we will also go on hikes! As a dog parent myself, I understand the worry other dog parents have leaving their precious one in another’s care. Therefore, photos and updates will be sent multiple times a day unless otherwise instructed.
“Tiffany was great and took care of my dog very well. She was communicating and always responsive, followed all my instructions for feeding and giving medication. Would hire again.”

“Thank you so much Deborah! You were right on time which is very appreciated with my schedule. I can tell that Moose loved her walk and was perfectly tired out when she got back. Thank you for refreshing food and water as well. I know I’ll be in touch soon.”

“Peter was great! He was so good with Norman and he sent me lots of photos. When he came for our original meet and greet, he was right on time and so personable! I will definitely use him again!”

About: Hi! I’m a recent college graduate with some extra time on my hands, and I’d love to spend it caring for your furry family members. I grew up with cats and have had them my whole life. I lost my own cat about a year ago and miss having that companionship, so I would be honored to give your cat the same love and attention I always gave mine. While I’ve never had a dog of my own, I grew up around friends’/extended family's dogs and lived with an adorable pup during college. I’m comfortable with daily walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love animals! I just graduated from college, so I have plenty of free time and would love to spend it caring for, playing with, and keeping your furry friends happy! Every animal has its own unique personality and needs, and I’m ready to follow your instructions to a T to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. Additionally, I will send updates with photos to keep you in the loop!

About: I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for years, whether it’s for short weekend trips or extended time away. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re gone. I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pet, ensuring they get the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company, I’m able to be fully present and attentive to their needs throughout the day. I have a friendly 4-year-old Labradoodle who absolutely loves being around other dogs and makes a great companion. We also have a fenced backyard where your pet can safely play and get plenty of exercise. Depending on your needs, I’m happy to care for your pet in your home as well, ensuring they stay comfortable in their familiar environment.
“Mara was an amazing dog walker and companion for our brown lab Buster!!! She took such good care of him so I could enjoy my vacation with my grandchildren!! She sent us photos every day of our baby boy who is 11 yrs old!!! I am so grateful to find someone who is truly an animal lover!!!”

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.
About: I’ve been taking care of different pets for many years. I have walked dogs, house-sat, and dropped by to just provide some enrichment when owners are too busy. I love spending time with animals and make it a point to understand each pet’s personality, likes and dislikes, and routine in order to make them as comfortable as possible when caring for them. Pets are family members, and I treat every one I care for like they're my own :) I am currently applying for graduate school and have a very flexible schedule, so I am available pretty much any time any day of the week. I make sure to work with clients to ensure that their pets are kept in routines they are comfortable with and feel safe spending time with me. I take time to understand how each pet functions and how they prefer to be interacted with in order to create a fun and rewarding experience for both of us

I’ve worked with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always try to keep owners updated with photos, communication, and lots of care and attention. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm companion, I’m happy to match their needs and routine. As a college student, I’m responsible, organized, and flexible with my schedule. I genuinely love animals and enjoy building connections with both pets and their owners. “Vivian did really great with Ollie on his walks. Ollie isn’t the easiest dog to walk as he’s really anxious about his surroundings but Vivian did the most to encourage him and made sure he got his steps in! She showed up on time for the 3 walks we had and sent pictures and communicates very well! Ollie usually takes a long time to warm up to new people but after his first walk with Vivian they were friends so I know she’s taking very good care of him :)”

Sugerloaf dog parents share their Rover experiences
Deborah has been wonderful with our dog. Before starting walks, she took the time to come meet him and really get to know his personality, routines, and some of his quirky (and occasionally challenging) behaviors. It was clear right away that she has a very natural way with dogs and a calm, confident presence that puts them at ease. She has been especially thoughtful about helping him improve his leash walking and is very attentive during their time together. Because he has had previous injuries, she’s careful to monitor his behavior and energy levels to make sure he doesn’t overdo it, which we really appreciate. Deborah is patient, observant, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. We feel very comfortable knowing he’s in such capable and attentive hands. Highly recommend!

Anmol is fantastic! We were initially worried about finding the right fit for Bagel, our high-energy Belgian Malinois mix, but Anmol’s calm energy was exactly what he needed. They got along famously, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing he is in safe, caring hands. The whole experience was completely carefree—we will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to any other dog parents!
