About: We’re dog lovers (currently without our own furball) and would love to care for yours. Our pet parent history: Over 18 years, we've raised puppies (black Lab and Boxer mix) and then a cool cat found us, making a party of 5. Post-trio, we rescued a middle-aged Boxer who was sweet on humans but not so much with other dogs and spent several years walking on the wild side with her before she became street-settled. We've been dog park regulars and hosted furritos of friends for slumber parties and were short-term vacation fosters. We've gently nursed our dogs through neuropathy, lung cancer, and Cushing's disease. We found great people to care for our girls on Rover and want to do the same for you! We miss being dog parents dearly and will care for your pets as if they were our own. If you happen to have dog & cat siblings, they are welcome, too! It’s summer break for one of us and the other is self-employed, so we have tons of time to dedicate to your furrito! We prefer not to leave your pup unattended — generally one of us will be with your doggo at all times. Your dog(s) will have access to all parts of our non-smoking home, sofa and beds included! Our dogs were free range, we do not have a crate. We are happy to use yours, please bring if needed. About: I have volunteered in dog shelters + rescues for 4 years and worked in a dog clinic for a couple years under a veterinarian (Dog Adoption and Welfare Group and Carl Zaboly DVM in Santa Barbara, CA), so I am familiar with the behaviors of our bestest friends. I live in an apartment next to Leo J Ryan park and walking distance from Foster City dog park, where my small dog Mocha loves to play with other dogs. For boarding, if your dog is prone to anxiety around people and other dogs, I request that a short meet and greet be done prior. This is to ensure that your dog and I will be a good fit and to familiarize your dog with my presence. I work from home majority of the week, so walks will be given three times a day. If the weather permits, we will also go on hikes! As a dog parent myself, I understand the worry other dog parents have leaving their precious one in another’s care. Therefore, photos and updates will be sent multiple times a day unless otherwise instructed.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, including birds, rodents, cats, and dogs of all ages. I understand that every pet has unique needs and personality traits, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience while you’re away. My friends often joke that I love animals more than people. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. My primary focus is drop-in visits and house sitting, as many pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow each pet’s schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care instructions. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention and updates while you’re away. I also offer boarding for pets who do well away from home, providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment where they’ll be treated like family.

“Andy was FANTASTIC. He sent many videos and photos so we wouldn't miss our dog, too much. He took incredible care of Cleo and made sure she was happy, comfortable, and well-exercised. It was really nice having her stay with another golden (Milo). Milo is extremely polite and well-behaved and acts as a great companion. Andy asked permission before feeding Cleo any fruits or veggies, too. We could tell he really loves dogs and you can have total peace of mind when your dog is in his care. Highly recommended.”
