About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a biologist and lover of all animals. I grew up taking care of a number of pets, including many dogs and have been employed as a veterinary technician in the past. I foster dogs on and off from our local shelters. I am knowledgeable and compassionate in the care of pets and look forward to meeting yours! I am currently working part time and am available weekends and some weekdays for potty breaks, dog walking, or house sitting! I am active and would love to have some furry company on my walks. About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. About: I've been raising service dogs for Canine Companions since 2016! I have experience with puppies aged 2 months and up. I've been best friends with a GSD for the past almost 5 years! I'm very patient and understanding with anxious and stressed dogs due to my experience with my pup. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
