Less than 5 minutes from dog park!
I’ve done it all: military veteran, pastry chef, pilot, skydiver, animal-shelter volunteer, and now, dog-sitter! I just want to cuddle with as many dogs as possible. I’ve joined Rover to extend my heart and home to as many canines as I can! At present, I work for the Forest Service. When I’m on the job, I keep an eye on the animals with a camera in the living room. In case of an emergency, I can contact family members, who have access to my home. And when I’m not at work, I’ll be showering your pup with love and affection. I like to spend quiet time at home with my pets. I cook almost every night—it helps me relax after work. But I also enjoy riding my motorcycle, or heading over to the municipal airport for a quick spin in a plane or helicopter. I won’t promise your pooch a helicopter ride, but I bet they’ll be right at home curled up at my feet as I cook up my latest concoction! During your dog’s stay, they’ll get lots of walks, indoor and outdoor fetch, and possible hikes and dog park visits. I live in a small house with a fenced back yard in Eureka, within 5 minutes of a fenced dog park. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, with a couple of good pet stores nearby. I share my home with two dogs and three cats, but there’s always room for one more furry visitor! One dog is a lab mix puppy, and the other is a disabled mini dachshund. Fantastic sitter, very communicative, kind and thoughtful! Could not recommend Kirstina enough!
Unfortunately my dog didn’t get along with Kristina’s dog, so we had to look for other sitters. Nothing was available during the holidays, so Kristina toughed it out until a boarding place opened. Too bad the dogs didn’t vibe. Still, Kristina messaged photos and was very responsive.

Schedule
I currently work Mon-Fri from home, with the flexibility to take breaks throughout the day. I like to step away from my computer and walk or play with my dogs whenever I can.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced back yard, soon to be fenced front yard as well. I take precautions when dogs are in my yards by keeping them leashes until I am comfortable with their behavior and have gotten to know them better.

A typical day
When I’m around, your dog will get lots of play and exercise, indoors and out. I’m conveniently located near two parks. And when I’m not around, my two dogs will keep your pup company, while I keep a watchful eye via cam.
