Currently, I share my home with Sally, a 5-year-old Domestic Short Hair tabby who I adopted in 2024. My schedule currently consist of work 5 days a week (any changes in my schedule will be noted). When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I respect their space and follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special needs or medications. I ensure your home remains tidy and secure during my visits and keep you updated with regular messages or photos to provide peace of mind. Whether it’s spending extra time playing with an energetic pet or offering a calm, reassuring presence for a shy one, I adapt my approach to suit their personality and preferences.

About: I’ve dog sat for about 10 different families over the past 10 years. From small dogs like chihuahuas to large breeds like mastiffs. I also watched the most interesting bengal cat! For many years I babysat children and cared for pets simultaneously. I was raised in an animal loving family, most nights I had a dog at the foot of my bed or a cat underneath it. I understand that pets are family and no one knows your pet like you. I am detail oriented and high energy. I’m am currently a student at Cal Poly Humboldt. I am a child development major. I took a step back from my work with early education to finish a few core classes. This makes my schedule quite open! I have a fully fenced yard with an extra high fence. It is mostly grass with small concrete pathway. I am never in school longer than 3 hours. I live in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood.

About: Animal care and welfare are values and skills that I was raised with. My family has a long history of adopting strays as well as keeping watch over the furred companions of others. I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I take pride in making sure the animal members of a family are cared for with compassion, honesty and fun. I'm very adaptable in terms of regiment, having served a wide arrange of clients for cats and dogs alike. I've done overnight work as well as sitting gigs that were requested as drop-in, drop-out. My focus is to understand the individual needs of each pet and make sure I can give them the best experience they can have while their families are away. My weekly schedule is very open so I can easily make sure your animal companions are safe and well cared for. I've grown up with dogs and cats, and have an understanding each individual animal has their own needs. My experience usually involves going to a pets home to make sure they are cared for in their familiar environment. I always check with clients ahead of time as to what their companions need. Even if it is a simple drop in, drop out feeding, I always make sure to spend a little extra time to make sure they know they are cared for. Sometimes a cat wants to play after eating. I can care for animals with a variety of needs, ranging from older dogs who would rather just have belly rubs, younger dogs who need lots of play time, or even cats who need different environments; indoor or outdoor. I have feed many pets who have a lot of different dietary needs and can easily adapt to make sure they are all fed well.

About: Animal lover with 30 years of experience owning, sitting and caring for fur babies. Both cats and dogs (other pets!) I am capable of caring for all sizes, age ranges, providing medicine, potty training routines, bathing, etc. I work from home with lots of down time to take care of your pet as they need. Potty breaks, walks, playing will be plentiful! I have a house with 3 large yards and provide great secured and gated space for pets to play! Pets are welcome to explore freely, and sit/sleep on furniture and bed. With lots of down time working from home, potty breaks can be taken as needed. Close to parks and open space. I am also fully capable of also keeping any crating routine you need to maintain when you are away. I also have a car for dogs that are able to go on doggy adventures like hikes, beach, dog parks, etc. We have a service dog named Hoss who loves all animals. He really enjoys making new friends.

About: I’ve have pets my whole life, I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I have experience with medication administration, reactive pets, and anxious pets. I am comfortable managing large breeds and love to walk. I am a student at Cal Poly Humboldt and my schedule is fairly flexible. I drive so I can easily do check ins throughout the day. I keep a close eye on the pets | watch and follow instructions very closely. I take pet care seriously and will make sure your pet gets the best care possible.

About: I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, horses, and cattle, and my boyfriend who I live with has had dogs his whole life. We love dogs of all size and ages and hope to adopt more in the future. I (Rebekah) will be who is primarily with your pup! I work 8:30-5 M-F, but am available to let your dog out for a potty break on my lunch and spend the rest of my time outside of work with them! I love to cuddle with pups while reading a book, as well as taking them on walks and playing with them with their toys! I strive to make the dogs feel comfortable with me, as I’m sure they get confused with a new person in their house. I try to keep their daily routine as similar to what they’re used to!

I ran my own dog walking business as a sole proprietor for many years, and also have worked as an independent contractor for other dog walking & pet sitting companies. In the past, I've cared for many different animals of varying ages and breeds; from puppies and kittens to seniors. I have plenty of experience administering medication for animals who need it, whether it be ear/eye drops, pills, and insulin injections. I also have experience caring for small and furry (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs) as well as scaly (fish, snakes, turtles). I'm responsible, caring, and punctual, and I genuinely care about providing great service to you and your pet. I am looking forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) friend! My schedule is fairly flexible and I will accept bookings Mon-Sun from 8am to 5pm. I prefer to do an free consultation with your dog before you book your first walk. I do appreciate advance bookings, but will do my best to fit you in! Your pet is a member of your family, so it is important to me that your pal feels loved and cared for while you are away. I travel to you and I am not currently available for boarding in my home.

About: To name a few specific skills would be administering medication for cats and dogs, expert back and belly scratching, and behavior training with my own dogs at home. I work part time and have a ton of time to spend playing with your little buddy/buddies! I'm very flexible as my work schedule changes. But longterm sitting and walking can most certainly be arranged! I am currently unable to care for any pets in my own home at this time. Though that may change sometime in the near future.
