About: I am compassionate, attentive, and communicative when it comes to caring for your beloved pets. I care for your pets every need and make sure they are taken care of gently and are given lots of attention, affection, and treats. Your pets safety and comfort is my highest priority. I am willing to work around your schedule to meet your needs in a way that works the best for you. When house sitting, I will spend as much time at your home with your pet as I can, as well as taking care of any other obligations you need me too. I will set my daily schedule around our planned walk or drop in visit to make sure you and your pet are accommodated. I care for pets in home according to their owners instructions. I have no problem giving your pets medicine or following special requests. When I am watching your pet, I make sure that they are comfortable and happy at all times. I follow the routine they are used to as outlined by their owners instructions, and make sure they have had their meals for the day, walks, and bedtime all according to plan. I send updates and photos to the owner frequently, and when I receive a message from the client, I answer right away. I truly love caring for animals and their comfort, happiness, and safety is my biggest priority.

About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a biologist and lover of all animals. I grew up taking care of a number of pets, including many dogs and have been employed as a veterinary technician in the past. I foster dogs on and off from our local shelters. I am knowledgeable and compassionate in the care of pets and look forward to meeting yours! I am currently working part time from home and am available for potty breaks, dog walking, daycare, and boarding! I am active and would love to have some furry company on my walks. I am open to watching dogs at my home if they are friendly with other dogs. I have a young heeler who loves making new doggie friends! I also can watch pets at your house and/or take the dogs for outings! I have my own car with plenty of space for transporting.

About: I grew up with dogs and have always considered them essential members of the family. We always had large breed dogs, and while they could be a lot of work, it was worth it to be able to go through life with these amazing creatures. I’m happy to spend time with your furry friend, whatever their energy level or particularities. I am a writer who works from home, so I can commit to spending plenty of quality time with your pup, going on walks or hanging out at home. I’m also happily to take them to the dog park once in a while if that’s something your pup enjoys. I have a fenced yard and a dog of my own. Bhalu is a 14-year-old lab mix who will be overjoyed to meet your pup for approximate 5 minutes, after which he will lose interest and go off to do his own thing.

I respect their space and follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special needs or medications. About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together. I make sure to take extra care with reactive dogs and avoid any situations that may trigger them as best as possible.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of breads of dogs for friends and family. I have experience with husky breeds and large dogs. I currently own a female senior cinnamon husky and have experience with what older dogs need on a daily basis. I love going on long walks and playing with any pup. I'm also fond of cats and have cared for and watched multiple. I currently work a full time job thats 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. I can come check on your pet in the evenings during the week or anytime on the weekend. I can crate dogs, feed any specifc meal plans, give medication, clean litter or pee pads, and walk on leash whenever needed. Will also provide plenty of pets, scratches, and attention to your animal.

About: I have been a sitter for 4 years for friends and neighbors. My care has included walking, potty breaks, overnight care, and more! I’ve lived with Dobermans my whole life and am capable of care for any dog of any size! I am a full time student at Cal Poly humboldt, my classes are in the morning and I am completely open in afternoons, weekends and holidays! I am active and love to play with animals!! My dogs at home are escape artists so I know how to avoid an escape due to fences. I have kennel trained multiple of my dogs and prefer to use kennels for bigger dogs.

About: I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as animals that take daily medication. I’m very good when it comes to applying the owners needs with consistency and lots of attention for their pets. I babysit part time and I have dog sitting clients outside of Rover as well. My schedule is very flexible and so it’s easier for me to meet new clients and their pets! I always make sure to ask my clients if there’s any additional info that I need to know. I’m a very aware and attentive person, that’s why I keep a good eye on the pets body language and everyday needs. Keeping up with their schedule is another important detail to me.
