While school is in session, I am taking part-time classes at Cal Poly Humboldt and work part-time. I cannot guarantee staying at your house 24/7 during house-sitting. Please feel free to reach out with your visit-requests and I'll let you know if I can meet your (and, of course, your pets') needs!

Information Dani M. would like to know about your pet
Before confirming a booking, I typically like to know how often I need to check in with your animal throughout the day. I want to make sure my availability fits your expectations. Before taking a dog out for a walk, I like to know what their social level is with other animals. Do I need to cross the street if there is another dog on the block? Is it okay to let the dogs sniff each other out? I do prefer to have local emergency contact info, just in case. I require it if you expect to be out of service area for most of your trip.
A typical day
I tailor my activities with each animal to their needs. If your dog wants to play fetch for our entire visit, I can do that! If your cat would prefer to curl up in my lap instead of playing with toys, then that's just fine too.

I have had a knack for animals since I was a toddler. I have experience with a variety of animals involving various skill levels most of my life (from puppies to senior pups, to bottle-baby kittens, to small furry animals, invertebrates and reptiles).

Dani was amazing with my cats! Both enjoyed having her come over when I wasn't in town. I was nervous to leave my kitties alone but Dani was great at reassuring me and help me through the Rover process. Dani also sent many pictures which was my treat when far from home! Dani went above and beyond and even brought my deliveries in which I did not expect at all but highly appreciated. If you are looking for someone responsible and reliable, Dani is your person!
Dani was an absolutely amazing sitter and fellow student + cat owner who went above and beyond caring for my cats. I felt very comfortable and safe having Dani there. Very communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you’re in Arcata and need a sitter, I cannot recommend Dani enough!
