About: I am compassionate, attentive, and communicative when it comes to caring for your beloved pets. I care for your pets every need and make sure they are taken care of gently and are given lots of attention, affection, and treats. Your pets safety and comfort is my highest priority. I am willing to work around your schedule to meet your needs in a way that works the best for you. When house sitting, I will spend as much time at your home with your pet as I can, as well as taking care of any other obligations you need me too. I will set my daily schedule around our planned walk or drop in visit to make sure you and your pet are accommodated. I care for pets in home according to their owners instructions. I have no problem giving your pets medicine or following special requests. When I am watching your pet, I make sure that they are comfortable and happy at all times. I follow the routine they are used to as outlined by their owners instructions, and make sure they have had their meals for the day, walks, and bedtime all according to plan. I send updates and photos to the owner frequently, and when I receive a message from the client, I answer right away. About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together. I make sure to take extra care with reactive dogs and avoid any situations that may trigger them as best as possible.

About: I am a long time animal lover and have been working in pet care for over 25 years professionally. I have ample experience with dog walking and overnight pet sitting. I ran my own dog walking business as a sole proprietor for many years, and also have worked as an independent contractor for other dog walking & pet sitting companies. In the past, I've cared for many different animals of varying ages and breeds; from puppies and kittens to seniors. I have plenty of experience administering medication for animals who need it, whether it be ear/eye drops, pills, and insulin injections. I also have experience caring for small and furry (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs) as well as scaly (fish, snakes, turtles). I'm responsible, caring, and punctual, and I genuinely care about providing great service to you and your pet. I am looking forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) friend! My schedule is fairly flexible and I will accept bookings Mon-Sun from 8am to 5pm. I prefer to do an free consultation with your dog before you book your first walk. I do appreciate advance bookings, but will do my best to fit you in! Your pet is a member of your family, so it is important to me that your pal feels loved and cared for while you are away. I travel to you and I am not currently available for boarding in my home.

About: I grew up with dogs and have always considered them essential members of the family. We always had large breed dogs, and while they could be a lot of work, it was worth it to be able to go through life with these amazing creatures. I’m happy to spend time with your furry friend, whatever their energy level or particularities. I am a writer who works from home, so I can commit to spending plenty of quality time with your pup, going on walks or hanging out at home. I’m also happily to take them to the dog park once in a while if that’s something your pup enjoys. I have a fenced yard and a dog of my own. Bhalu is a 14-year-old lab mix who will be overjoyed to meet your pup for approximate 5 minutes, after which he will lose interest and go off to do his own thing.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for the past 15 years and professionally taking care of animals since 2014 in the Sacramento area. I work full time in Eureka, Monday through Friday typically starting around 8/8:30 (depending on the schedule) and finish work at 5pm. I usually only have a half hour lunch so if your dog needs to be let out during the middle of the day I could do it if your place is in Eureka. I would be conducting care at your home or neighborhood if walking, since my rental does not allow animals. I can do overnights at your place and drop in visits with feedings as long as it’s done before 8am and after 5pm M-F, weekends I don’t have a time restraints.
