Ive taken care of dogs, cats and other animals since i was very young. There has always been some sort of animal in my house hold whether thats a small dog, a big dog, a couple of cats, birds or guinea pigs. My relationship with my animals has always been a mutual respect for each other without any issues in the past with authority which is due to my training and conditioning with my animals. I’ve made my home a safe and loving environment for my animals with their best interests considered first with daily physical and mental stimulation with fun games and walks as well as nutritious diets containing real food. I’d love to get to know your pup and take him or her on long walks. I dont have a very packed schedule so ill have plenty of time to play with your pups and kitties! Im able to walk or feed your dog before 9 am and at around 12.30 in the afternoon every weekday as well as boarding your pup or kitty at my house or watching your dog overnight at your home every week day except Friday. Weekends I have more flexibility during the day and can watch your companion overnight on saturday and sunday if needed. I have a fenced back yard and a very friend shiba inu and chow chow mix who is a spayed female dog and is the light of my life and a black outdoor cat. I had a cat and a dog that I regularly care for daily, I have a set time for feeding the dog and cat at 5PM every day, and of course breakfast at 8 AM before that, and I would make sure to have my dog go out back when needed and to clean up after him, and we also have his usually vet appointments as well. For my cat, we fed him three times a day like my dog and clean his litter box and refill it twice a day.

About: I've had dogs my entire life so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I currently have a dog and two cats, and I'm also trusted in my neighborhood and amongst family and friends as someone to watch their animals when they're gone. Im a full time college student but I usually always have my own animals in my bedroom with me, sitting under (or on top of) my desk while I work. I have a friendly dog who absolutely loves play dates, so your dog would never get bored. My backyard is quite large so the dogs have tons of room to run around and play. The fences are regularly checked for holes under them to ensure our dog can't get out. I also have two large cat cages in my home where each of my cats sleep, but if needed, they can sleep in the same cage and the other one can be used to provide your pet some privacy, with their own food and water dishes. I have many many many interactive cat toys so even while i'm working, they can play with the toys that are attached to my desk and walls, along with scratching posts.

About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. About: I've had large dogs since 1997. Currently I have 2 amazing dogs. A 3 legged great burnese, and a 1.2yr old burnese Mt. Dog. They are sweet and wonderful dogs with great manners and are super dog friendly. I also have 2 cats. Rick and Morty. They are a pair. Also very sweet and affectionate once they know you. They are indoor/outdoor 24/7 but avoid dogs. The love of my furry friends reflects who I am. I have 5 acres. This allows my dogs to mostly roam free as they stay close to home. It gives other dogs the opportunity to have a place to run around and play with other good dogs. There are also multiple leads amongst the property, as well as a gated and covered outside area if your pet isn't used to either of those situations. I spend almost all of my days working from home. So other than the occasional errand, I'm home. Otherwise, I exist for you and yours. My pets have water and food at all times. It's under a covered area so they are able to stay in the shade if they like. Otherwise my dogs are free to roam as they generally stay on the property. My property is not fenced. However with this undertaking dogs can be placed in the covered area when needed. They can be leaded if that's what you want. As well they are welcome in the house at any time. Your pets are free to relax anywhere they like. My dogs are very sweet and friendly. My 3 legged dog is not one to get to excited as he only has 3 legs. For the right dogs, my property is a paradise.

The days I watch pets are days they have my full attention. If they are active pets, playtime, parks, and hikes it is! I’d love to get to know your pup and take him or her on long walks. I dont have a very packed schedule so ill have plenty of time to play with your pups and kitties! Im able to walk or feed your dog before 9 am and at around 12.30 in the afternoon every weekday as well as boarding your pup or kitty at my house or watching your dog overnight at your home every week day except Friday. Weekends I have more flexibility during the day and can watch your companion overnight on saturday and sunday if needed. I am flexible with day of requests for random times and can make those work every now and then. ALL PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE. I have a fenced back yard and a very friend shiba inu and chow chow mix who is a spayed female dog and is the light of my life and a black outdoor cat.
