I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together. I make sure to take extra care with reactive dogs and avoid any situations that may trigger them as best as possible.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for the past 15 years and professionally taking care of animals since 2014 in the Sacramento area. I work full time in Eureka, Monday through Friday typically starting around 8/8:30 (depending on the schedule) and finish work at 5pm. I usually only have a half hour lunch so if your dog needs to be let out during the middle of the day I could do it if your place is in Eureka. I would be conducting care at your home or neighborhood if walking, since my rental does not allow animals. I can do overnights at your place and drop in visits with feedings as long as it’s done before 8am and after 5pm M-F, weekends I don’t have a time restraints.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
