I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I take pride in making sure the animal members of a family are cared for with compassion, honesty and fun. I can care for animals with a variety of needs, ranging from older dogs who would rather just have belly rubs, younger dogs who need lots of play time, or even cats who need different environments; indoor or outdoor. I have feed many pets who have a lot of different dietary needs and can easily adapt to make sure they are all fed well.

About: I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, horses, and cattle, and my boyfriend who I live with has had dogs his whole life. We love dogs of all size and ages and hope to adopt more in the future. Our schedules line up to where someone would be home with your pup 95% of the time! We offer daily walks and adventures if that’s what your pup needs as well, and lots of toys of course. We have a large fenced yard that your pup can play and run around in. We have a dog as well that they can play with outside or inside. We have crate that your pup can use if that’s what they need.
About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together. I make sure to take extra care with reactive dogs and avoid any situations that may trigger them as best as possible.

Pets are welcome to explore freely, and sit/sleep on furniture and bed. With lots of down time working from home, potty breaks can be taken as needed. Close to parks and open space. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
