Availability

I'm currently a student at CPH, so lots of work, but a flexible schedule. Because of the way Rover lets me schedule availability I will sometimes be marked available when I am not. I would normally have a more accurate weekly schedule here, but I will be working out-of-state over the summer, and am therefore not available for any bookings between May 19 and August 25.

Information Kyra P. would like to know about your pet

I'd love to get some insight into your dog's history, as well as what your/their "normal" looks like. (What does this or that word *mean*, specifically? etc)

A typical day

What we do together definitely depends on the dog, but I keep around a variety of (clean) toys for either social play or alone time. And I'll often run with dogs who are interested in it (and whose people are okay with it).

Pet care experience

My childhood dogs and horses were my coworkers as much as my friends, so I've spent a LOT of time getting on their level, trying to become a better trainer (and human!). Besides working with animals at home, I've petsat and volunteered at local boarding kennels and shelters since the day I was old enough. I've found a rhythm with animals old, young, stubborn, over-eager, aloof, reactive, and skittish, and am absolutely certain I'll find one with yours.

Kyra did an excellent job taking care of our kitty while we were out of town. She was friendly, reliable and communicative; and there is no denying that our cat made a new friend!

We needed a sitter for the day and we’re glad we found Kyra. Our two dogs can be a bit much, but she did an amazing job watching them.
