About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! About: I live with and take care of two dogs, a pink-nosed pit bull and a Chihuahua; both are female. I feed and give them water regularly myself, and I am also responsible for cleaning the yard space they spend time in. About: I’ve taken care of 2 dogs the past 5+ years. One of them is mine he is an easy going Boston Terrier, he loves playing fetch and walks. The other is a family friend’s dog, she is a Doberman who has had a lot of medical issues. That means a strict medication schedule to adhere to and temper issues. Nonetheless she’s a joy to take care of! I have also taken care of rats, they are a lot of fun. Then off and on i’ve taken care of cats, doing the usual litter box cleaning and feeding. I work full time in Eureka, Monday through Friday typically starting around 8/8:30 (depending on the schedule) and finish work at 5pm. I usually only have a half hour lunch so if your dog needs to be let out during the middle of the day I could do it if your place is in Eureka. I would be conducting care at your home or neighborhood if walking, since my rental does not allow animals.
