Currently, I share my home with Sally, a 5-year-old Domestic Short Hair tabby who I adopted in 2024. I respect their space and follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special needs or medications. I am a full time student with only online classes for the foreseeable future, so my availability is pretty flexible. My other job is where I help students write & edit papers but it is all done virtually. I would be conducting care at your home or neighborhood if walking, since my rental does not allow animals. I can do overnights at your place, drop in visits with feedings and/or walks.

I have working around and with dogs and cats for most of my life, my grandma worked with fosters/rescues and at the Animal Shelter during my childhood and with the experience I have a very good understanding of how to handle most animals and provide them with love and care. I also have a 5 year old Border Collie who keeps me very busy, him and I spent 3+ years in intensive training (positive reinforcement only). This experience in training has helped me to understand cues, reactions and how to redirect with many different breeds of dogs. About: Hi! My schedule will be tailored to yours. I am very flexible and willing to do services with little prior heads up. Just message me for whatever you need and I will make it work. Ive taken care of dogs, cats and other animals since i was very young. There has always been some sort of animal in my house hold whether thats a small dog, a big dog, a couple of cats, birds or guinea pigs. My relationship with my animals has always been a mutual respect for each other without any issues in the past with authority which is due to my training and conditioning with my animals. I’ve made my home a safe and loving environment for my animals with their best interests considered first with daily physical and mental stimulation with fun games and walks as well as nutritious diets containing real food. I’d love to get to know your pup and take him or her on long walks. I dont have a very packed schedule so ill have plenty of time to play with your pups and kitties! Im able to walk or feed your dog before 9 am and at around 12.30 in the afternoon every weekday as well as boarding your pup or kitty at my house or watching your dog overnight at your home every week day except Friday. Weekends I have more flexibility during the day and can watch your companion overnight on saturday and sunday if needed. I am flexible with day of requests for random times and can make those work every now and then. ALL PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE. I have a fenced back yard and a very friend shiba inu and chow chow mix who is a spayed female dog and is the light of my life and a black outdoor cat. My dog is very friendly with all animals and is very curious of being friends with others and would be a perfect companion for your animal.

About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together. I make sure to take extra care with reactive dogs and avoid any situations that may trigger them as best as possible.

I usually care for senior fur friends but I have occasionally taken care for puppies and kittens for short periods of time! My longest stay was house sitting for 25 days, looking after a rottweiler and a pit bull. My headline statement is to say that I cater to each and every type of personality and routine, so I will be more than willing to go for long or short walks/runs as well as stay inside and lounge around! About: I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as animals that take daily medication. I’m very good when it comes to applying the owners needs with consistency and lots of attention for their pets. I babysit part time and I have dog sitting clients outside of Rover as well. My schedule is very flexible and so it’s easier for me to meet new clients and their pets! I always make sure to ask my clients if there’s any additional info that I need to know. I’m a very aware and attentive person, that’s why I keep a good eye on the pets body language and everyday needs. Keeping up with their schedule is another important detail to me.

I am available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. At the time that my client need it. I’m going to school Tuesday and Thursday. I’m very careful in my clients house. I remember what it was like when my family went out of town and we couldn't bring our animals and how important it was to us to make sure they were comfortable while we were gone. Knowing they were safe, made my mom and dad feel at ease and able to enjoy our time away. As a mother now myself, I understand what it means to feel secure when you can't be the one taking care of your child. My heart guides me this way. I hope to be able to help you feel secure when you can't be there. I also would like to open my home to your furry family members if that makes it more comfortable. I also love to run/hike and would love to have a buddy to come with me. I live in a perfect neighborhood that allows for walks of all kinds and there is a park around the away where dogs are allowed. I am also extremely open to cats! My pal passed about 13years ago and I travel too much to bring myself to adopt another. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my entire life.
