“Celia went above and beyond to make sure our cats were cared for while we were away. When her car broke down, she got a ride to our house to feed our cats. I really appreciate her commitment.”

“Thanks for taking care of our cats when we were out. Heather sent us updates which made us miss our little cats a little less. Will definitely recommend Heather to take care of your pets.”

About: 🐾 Reliable Pet Sitting & Walks — Dogs, Cats & Birds Welcome! Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover offering dog walks and overnight pet sitting. I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust, and I treat every animal in my care like they’re part of my own family. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities—from energetic pups who need long walks to older dogs who prefer a slower pace and extra attention. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routines, giving them plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. I also have experience caring for birds of all kinds, which is something many sitters don’t offer. I’m comfortable helping with feeding schedules, cage care, and making sure your feathered friends stay happy and stress-free while you’re away. During overnight stays, I make sure your pets feel safe and relaxed in their own home while keeping things consistent with their daily routine. I’m attentive, reliable, and always happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and will care for your pets like their own, I’d love to help! Feel free to reach out with any questions—I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🗓️ Schedule & Availability I currently work Wednesday–Saturday from 2 PM to 11 PM, but I still have availability for pet care depending on your needs. I’m typically available for: • Morning walks and drop-ins before 2 PM • Late-night check-ins after 11 PM • Overnight pet sitting • Sunday–Tuesday availability with a more flexible schedule When doing overnight stays, I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and comfortable before I leave for work and again when I return. I always try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel safe and cared for. Feel free to message me with your dates and your pet’s routine, and I’ll do my best to accommodate! 🛡️ Safety, Trust & Environment Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. I always follow the routine and care instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any special needs your pet may have. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort so pets stay happy and stress-free while you’re away. I’m respectful of your home and make sure everything stays clean, safe, and secure during overnight stays. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are being well cared for. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where your pets feel comfortable and loved until you return home.
About: My whole life I have helped take of family pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and horses. I have done pet sitting/walking for others over the years as well. I am looking for a job this summer and I’m not sure what my schedule will be like but it will depend on how many hours I am given. I my clients home I make sure the pets receive lots of love and long walks. I make sure to always follow exact directions given.
About: I've been raising service dogs for Canine Companions since 2016! I have experience with puppies aged 2 months and up. I've been best friends with a GSD for the past almost 5 years! I'm very patient and understanding with anxious and stressed dogs due to my experience with my pup. I'm currently full availble for the summer, but will be a full time student starting in early August. I've got classes all day Mondays and Wednesdays, and I host studio hours on Saturdays. I'm very comfortable with crating dogs and walking high energy dogs. My dog is a runner and tries to escape, so I'm very familiar with keeping a close eye on dogs that are a little too excited!
About: I have been a repeat sitter for a pug and house sitter for month long stays. I have cared for our queensland heeler for 10 years. I am a Eureka resident and a working professional with a flexible, hybrid schedule. I am working remotely Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. I can adapt my schedule to the needs of your pet, including walks throughout the day. I am attentive to individual pets needs and a client said I left the house cleaner than when he left. I provide a safe, playful, and loving environment for your pet.
About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for dogs that can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together.
About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

I am 100% self employed, and a part time stay-at-home pet/ plant dad! I'd love to make time to care for your pets as well! Obviously your pets are top priority but please let me know what I can do to keep your home safe and sound as well :)

On walks I always make sure to be extra careful while walking near busy streets, i’m cautious of other animals and pets and read their body language as well as my clients to ensure everyones safety, and ensure that your pet isn’t getting into anything they aren’t supposed to while on a walk or in the home!
“Makaia is awesome! She took amazing care of my little fur baby! I was stuck working a long shift at work, and was worried my puppy wouldn’t get enough exercise for the day, so she offered to bring over her pug to play! Makaia sent me pictures, so I could see how much fun my puppy was having, and is always very quick to respond! I would definitely recommend her!!”

“Dani demonstrated her cat-smarts (with our sometimes fickle, finicky & bad-ass feline!); Dani proved to be super reliable and communicative, helping us to completely relax and enjoy our week away, knowing our cat was in good hands! Thank you, Dani!”

Samoa cat parents share their Rover experiences
Great care and communication! She was very patient and kind with my kitten (he gets nervous around new people). It was great to see the progress he made while I was away through updates and pictures! I highly recommend Alexandra and would definitely book again!

Celia sent at least one photo every check-in, and was very professional and communicative. The questions she asked before confirming our booking helped show that she's an experienced, reliable pet-sitter. All this gave me much better peace of mind leaving my kitties with a new sitter for over a week!

Paige looked in our kittehs for 3 days and was absolutely great. She was kind and personable when she visited ahead of them to meet them, and the girls received excellent care and lots of attention. She shared really cute photos of each visit. We will definitely rebook with her in the future! 🙂
