About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

About: I genuinely love animals and have been helping take care of them since as long as I can remember. I have plenty of experience from being a pet parent myself, volunteering at animal shelters, fostering in my home and working in native animal conservation. I believe in positive reinforcement and will always make sure I take good care of your babies. Availability varies but I have fairly open schedule. About: I grew up with dogs and volunteered at the animal shelter to spend time with even more dogs. In college I walked for Wag! full time. Now I have two dogs, a super loving golden retriever and a very nervous australian shepherd mix. I’ve had the golden since he was a puppy and rescued the Aussie a few years later. I have extensive experience with reactive dogs and know how stressful it can be traveling out of town leaving your reactive dog behind. I’m willing to work with you for as long as it takes til we’re all comfortable with each other :) Small dogs big dogs senior dogs puppies I have experience and love them all so much :) October 2025 update: I currently work 8:30 am-5:00 pm in office Monday-Friday. I have availability to check in on dogs on my lunch break and before/after work. On weekends I can spend as much time as needed with your pets :) I will work with you! I believe pets are best off in their home environment so i’ll come to you. I know routines can be important so I will follow them. I've been raised around many different packs of dogs at my grandparents home facility in Alaska and once i turned 18, I realized this is what I love to do! I currently have two years of professional experience working at Dog Daycare facilities, and I plan to have many more under my belt! In the next year, I plan to receive all my dog behavior and training credentials! I'm very fascinated by dogs and understanding their behavior and providing the best individual care! I've dealt with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, so bring on your fluffy doodles, your slobbering great danes, even your reactive border collies! No pups tail wag is too big or small! I currently have one dog of my own, a 5y/o old Husky/German Shepherd mix named Winter! She came to me two years ago, very reactive and getting into fights ant my grandparents daycare. She was ant risk of being euthanized. Over these past two years we have worked extensively on positive training and association to everything that scared her. She has come a very long way, as our walks are calm and enriching now. Thanks to all the training we've done! She is the best thing that's happened to me, and has taught me so much about patience and unconditional love. I also have two cats, Onyx and Skizzo, Onyx being a tripod! I'm currently working full time at a doggy daycare, so my availability in the morning is limited, however I am available every weekday afternoon! My weekends are completely open as well! As i'm not able to house any dogs myself, I can guarantee to always be looking regarding the safety of your dog during walks or drops ins! Your dog will always stay leashed and if kenneling is required, I will make sure they are safe and secure!

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a kid bottle-feeding my family's kitten and training our puppy to heel. I'm always excited when neighbors and friends ask me to watch their pets, and go the extra mile to make sure they don't feel lonely or bored while their people are away. I can keep up with detailed schedules and don't mind the "gross" chores of cleaning up messes and administering medication. About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.

About: I have a bird and cats of my own, had two small dogs for 15 years, and have pet sat for neighbors in the past. I also work at a pet store and have a wide breadth of knowledge when it comes to animal care. I am a student and work weekends, so in the summer I am available most weekdays to spend time with your animal. Weekends I am free in the evenings after 6:30 Pet care is such a variable & individually tailored experience. I will follow the rules & boundaries you set for your pets. Maintaining that structure and comfort for your critter is a top priority of mine.
