About: I’ve taken care of my 2 dogs for 12 years. I grew up having 2 dogs and a cat to take care of at the same time, all different ages and breeds. I’m really into all animals and love just being able to be around them and meeting new ones. On my free time I volunteer at the Sequoia Park Zoo as well. I currently have a pretty open schedule. I definitely can accommodate and am open and flexible to working with your schedule as much as you need. I’ve been home alone a lot with my 2 dogs and had to raise them and a cat, so I talk and hang out quite a lot with pets when I’m around them. I really love petting animals as it gives me just as much enjoyment as it does them.

I have working around and with dogs and cats for most of my life, my grandma worked with fosters/rescues and at the Animal Shelter during my childhood and with the experience I have a very good understanding of how to handle most animals and provide them with love and care. I also have a 5 year old Border Collie who keeps me very busy, him and I spent 3+ years in intensive training (positive reinforcement only). This experience in training has helped me to understand cues, reactions and how to redirect with many different breeds of dogs. About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.
