About: Animal care and welfare are values and skills that I was raised with. My family has a long history of adopting strays as well as keeping watch over the furred companions of others. I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I take pride in making sure the animal members of a family are cared for with compassion, honesty and fun. Even if it is a simple drop in, drop out feeding, I always make sure to spend a little extra time to make sure they know they are cared for. Sometimes a cat wants to play after eating. I can care for animals with a variety of needs, ranging from older dogs who would rather just have belly rubs, younger dogs who need lots of play time, or even cats who need different environments; indoor or outdoor. I have feed many pets who have a lot of different dietary needs and can easily adapt to make sure they are all fed well.

I have working around and with dogs and cats for most of my life, my grandma worked with fosters/rescues and at the Animal Shelter during my childhood and with the experience I have a very good understanding of how to handle most animals and provide them with love and care. I also have a 5 year old Border Collie who keeps me very busy, him and I spent 3+ years in intensive training (positive reinforcement only). This experience in training has helped me to understand cues, reactions and how to redirect with many different breeds of dogs.
