“Annalee is the best sitter. She’s attentive to JZ’s needs and is very thorough in keeping us informed regarding her daily care. She’s definitely going to be at the top of our list of sitters. Thank you Annalee.”

“Janice is awesome! I am so thankful for her. She is very conscientious and caring. She took extra time out of her schedule to care for my high maintenance furbaby. And updated me with notes and pictures twice a day. I came home from a stressful trip to a happy and healthy dog. You cant go wrong with Janice. Many thanks for a great job!”

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.
“Tessa is a phenomenal cat sitter! We feel so lucky to have found her. Our cat needs to take oral medication and Tessa was able to administer it with no problems. Our cat didn’t even run away after. I highly recommend her!”

“She was absolutely amazing, great communication, helped me figure out the app because I am completely new to it, sends me pictures and videos of my pet 10/10 pictures I will save them forever because of how cute they came out. If I have to go somewhere and I can’t take my beloved fur baby I am coming back to her.”

“Celia went above and beyond to make sure our cats were cared for while we were away. When her car broke down, she got a ride to our house to feed our cats. I really appreciate her commitment.”

“Kristina was awesome! She watched my cat Tikka for me on a very last minute request and sent me updates every day! Definitely recommend, all of her animals were super cute and sweet and Tikka came home happy and with new friends!”

“Paige looked in our kittehs for 3 days and was absolutely great. She was kind and personable when she visited ahead of them to meet them, and the girls received excellent care and lots of attention. She shared really cute photos of each visit. We will definitely rebook with her in the future! 🙂”

About: I grew up with dogs and volunteered at the animal shelter to spend time with even more dogs. In college I walked for Wag! full time. Now I have two dogs, a super loving golden retriever and a very nervous australian shepherd mix. I’ve had the golden since he was a puppy and rescued the Aussie a few years later. I have extensive experience with reactive dogs and know how stressful it can be traveling out of town leaving your reactive dog behind. I’m willing to work with you for as long as it takes til we’re all comfortable with each other :) Small dogs big dogs senior dogs puppies I have experience and love them all so much :) October 2025 update: I currently work 8:30 am-5:00 pm in office Monday-Friday. I have availability to check in on dogs on my lunch break and before/after work. On weekends I can spend as much time as needed with your pets :) I will work with you! I believe pets are best off in their home environment so i’ll come to you. I know routines can be important so I will follow them. For every client I require a meet and greet and would prefer a home visit so that we can go over everything. Will send regular updates as well.
About: I've taken care of pets since I was a kid bottle-feeding my family's kitten and training our puppy to heel. I'm always excited when neighbors and friends ask me to watch their pets, and go the extra mile to make sure they don't feel lonely or bored while their people are away. I can keep up with detailed schedules and don't mind the "gross" chores of cleaning up messes and administering medication. I keep my schedule pretty loose and flexible, and am able to make room for availability. Feel free to contact me for more specifics or to discuss any openings. I am always sure to let a pet get used to me, my scent, and my presence when I first meet them. Their comfort and safety is my priority, and I will put in extra effort to learning the details of how they need to be cared for.

I can't wait to give your dogs lots of love and exercise, they'll definitely be spoiled with me as their sitter or Walker. We'll have tons of fun playing together! I'm currently working part time at a local doggy daycare, im looking to find a second source of income doing the thing I love most which is working with animals of all kinds! I work 5 days a week M-F but I'm willing to work around my schedule to accommodate for your pets specific needs! I always go into meeting animals with a lot of patience and care depending on their temperment levels with new people. I never rush into a greeting with a pet because I want them to know they can trust me to respect the boundaries they've set and I won't force interactions. I'm very careful to respect house rules set by the pet owner and maintain a clean environment for the animals to relax in comfortably.

“Rita was a pleasure to have drop in on our two cats while we were away. They had clean water, litter boxes and she even took our trash can to the street. Our youngest can be a terror if not played with consistently and he has been a joy since we’ve been home so I know she put in extra effort to burn his energy. We’d love to book Rita again!”
