3. Sam L.
“We booked a meet-&-greet visit so my two little kittehs could meet Sam prior to a longer set of drop-in visits. They are usually pretty aloof, but seemed to take to him right away. He was clearly comfortable with animals & asked knowledgeable questions… my floofs will be in good hands while I’m away!”
4. Channing P.
“I've known Channing for about 3 years now and have had her pet sit my two Great Pyrenees! She is a very reliable, trustworthy, and kind person. She treats my two fur babes as if they're her own which means the world to me. Any questions or concerns she has had she reaches out and communicates. I would highly recommend Channing for any of your pet sitting needs! :)”

About: I take care of many dogs and have had them at my house or stay at their owner’s house. Either way I am very comfortable with. I am currently not working and have lots of love and time for your fur babies. Dogs bring me a lot of joy. I also really love walking so I can exercise your dogs anytime. I have a fenced yard and lots of space for animals. I also have a corral if the dog needs to be locked us at night.

10. Chip S.
“Whenever I was Chip's houseguest while he was caring for a little dog named Roxy, I was impressed that Chip was always attentive, loving and caring for the little dog. Roxy was well fed and exercised and seemed completely at home. She was brushed and bathed on a regular basis. Chip was taking care of the dog while the dogs owner was fighting Cancer. Roxy had the run of the house, her own bed, a patio where she could enjoy the sun during the day and an outside meadow to commune with other dogs. I bet she thought she was on vacation!”

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. I have a fenced in back yard. Both my dogs are crate trained, but prefer cuddling me at night. I take very careful care of their diets and walk them daily mostly at the park or beach.

She is trustworthy and can be counted on to provide loving support and a good time, enjoying safely taking doggies on outside adventures as appropriate, lots of cuddles and care.”

About: I have loved animals all my life and my dog is my whole world! I am not certified but have studied positive reinforcement dog training for many years and had great success. It is a dream of mine to become a dog trainer. This being said, I am confident I can provide safety and proper care for your pet. Additionally I’ve meticulously cared for many small animals and cats as well, and I am very careful because I know how important our animals friends are to us. I have experience with senior animals and administering oral medications and inhalers. Please reach out with any additional questions or concerns regarding your pet’s comfort and well being! My work schedule is flexible so long as services are planned one week in advance. Evening drop ins are available on work nights all week. My work schedule can be adjusted based on your pets needs. In my clients home I am focused on respecting the space of the animals and the client. It’s my job to ensure the animal is safe and sound and so my first goal is to be a safe and protective presence.

About: Experienced and flexible. Well reviewed! Happy to provide references. I volunteered at Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary all through my High School years in Austin TX. There isn't much I can't handle but I'm also aware dogs can have different personalities and different needs. I'd love to cater to your pet specifically! I am 100% self employed, and a part time stay-at-home pet/ plant dad! I'd love to make time to care for your pets as well! Obviously your pets are top priority but please let me know what I can do to keep your home safe and sound as well :)
16. Melissa & Alan G.
“Melissa was great! She followed through and communicated very well upon each visit with comments and photos. My cat runs away from strangers, and upon meeting him, she immediately sat down to appear less threatening. He stopped and watched her. She is adaptable and intuitively knows how to be with animals.”
17. Danielle M.
“Danielle is amazing! She takes such good care of Calcifer and keeps me updated on how he doing the whole time I am out of town. Cannot recommend her highly enough!”
18. Rita K.
“Rita was an absolutely perfect dog sitter. She was responsible and kept our dogs happy and healthy for our long trip away. She took pictures of our pets and home and sent them to us daily. The house was in wonderful care as well as all of our directions were followed to a T! She's a wonderful person with a big heart and easy to talk to. We will hire her every time we go away without hesitation!”
19. ellen t.
“My house was secure and my kittens well taken care of. I was very grateful to have Ellen watching my cats and checking on my home.”
20. Daniel B.
“Our beloved pups — one of which has some special needs and doesn't always take to new people and places — stayed with Dan for most of a week and I think they didn't want to leave! Dan not only took excellent care of them but also of us, sending regular updates and pictures to set our minds at ease. He even got one photoshopped to depict them as little adorable pirates — a little treasure that continues to make us smile. Dan's a really nice guy, who has a nice way with dogs and a house set up to accommodate them. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”
