4. Janelle B.
“Janelle has taken care of our dog and our chickens (and our home!) on several occasions. We love her, and so does our dog! We come home to a clean house and a happy pup, and the chickens safe and sound doing their thing. I know she loves gardening and will look forward to her watering and weeding when our garden also needs tending in our absence.”
5. Kayla S.
About: I genuinely love animals and have been helping take care of them since as long as I can remember. I have plenty of experience from being a pet parent myself, volunteering at animal shelters, fostering in my home and working in native animal conservation. I believe in positive reinforcement and will always make sure I take good care of your babies. Availability varies but I have fairly open schedule. Please make sure to schedule as far in advance as possible so I can add you to my calendar immediately. I am very mindful and caring; furthermore, I just want to provide safe and reliable service. I follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the parent parent(s) and always communicate to ensure I know the pets needs.
6. Janice S.
“Janice is awesome! I am so thankful for her. She is very conscientious and caring. She took extra time out of her schedule to care for my high maintenance furbaby. And updated me with notes and pictures twice a day. I came home from a stressful trip to a happy and healthy dog. You cant go wrong with Janice. Many thanks for a great job!”
7. Morgan G.
“I highly recommend Morgan as a pet sitter. I have entrusted them with the care of my dog Anka several times and I am always thoroughly impressed with her professionalism and attentiveness. In addition to her being great with dogs, she does have cats herself and has a strong understanding of their behavior and specific needs. Her attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals are evident, and I always feel confident that my girl is in great hands. I will not hesitate to book Morgan again in the future and strongly recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy, reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”
8. Kristina B.
“Kristina took great care of my two cats during check-ins. They got playtime and cuddles. I really appreciated getting videos and rover cards with notes on how they were doing while I was gone.”
9. Melissa F.
“Thank you so much again Melissa! You are so great with Puddle and it’s such a comfort to get your updates and see how much he adores your visits. I’ve had to travel back home a lot since my mom passed away and your help these last couple months has been invaluable. Thank you for being so attentive and kind! -Allegra and Vanja”
10. Grace C.
“Grace has watched my two dogs several times. She is trustworthy, responsible, follows the directions I’ve written, picks up after them and my dogs are comfy and happy when I get home. She has house sit and stayed with them over night as well. I completely trust her in my home and with my beloved fur babies!”
11. Angelica D.
About: I have 5 outdoor cats and had 1 dog, who recently passed away due to a brain tumor. I am full of love for animals, but I am not ready to take on another pet full time. Instead, I would love to help my neighbors provide care for their pets! Miko was a very special dog, that required tons of walks & taught me a LOT about animal behavior and communication. Through my love and training for him, I was able to spend a lot of time doing what is most important to me: spending time in nature, bonding, teaching and loving animals. They give me such purpose, and I want to spend each and everyday around them. I work full-time, from home, in the tech industry and have a very flexible schedule. Due to my home being empty, it's a safe place for pets to stay or I can travel easily. I currently work full time Monday - Thursday from my computer and have a very flexible schedule. I can work anywhere with good wifi, can take a lot of breaks to do walks & potty time. I don't have a fenced yard so your dog would be on leash outside at my house. I live in a very quiet area, so it's great for reactive dogs if they need a more quiet place to be. I am able to crate train you dog as you wish, and teach them simple commands if that is something you desire. I'm very flexible and will follow your instructions.
12. Paige D.
“Paige was extremely accommodating in working with my schedule, being responsive, and watering my garden in addition to taking care of kittycat. Thank you so much!”
13. Sadie D.
About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.
14. Danielle M.
“Danielle is amazing! She takes such good care of Calcifer and keeps me updated on how he doing the whole time I am out of town. Cannot recommend her highly enough!”
15. Thor D.
“Thor is an animal lover and is great with our dog. He is always kind and on time. He is a very professional man .”
16. Sam L.
“We booked a meet-&-greet visit so my two little kittehs could meet Sam prior to a longer set of drop-in visits. They are usually pretty aloof, but seemed to take to him right away. He was clearly comfortable with animals & asked knowledgeable questions… my floofs will be in good hands while I’m away!”
17. Tamara M.
“I've known Tamara for over 25 years and for those years I've seen her care for countless animals. Tamara has started and run a Pit Bull rescue and never turned away a dog in need. Tamara was the person I turned to when I got my first dog. She helped guide me through the process and she was there every time I needed help in the first months of having my new (rescue) dog. She helped me train him and helped me learn how to be a responsible dog owner as well. She also (of course) takes care of my dog, cat and house whenever I have to travel for work.”
18. Lexie B.
About: Since I took care of my own dog for 3 years, I have also watched a few other dogs. In addition to taking them for walks and feeding them, I also take them to the dog park so they can run and play with other dogs. As a stay-at-home mom with a toddler, I am always available to watch your fur baby on a weekly and daily basis based on my weekly and daily plans. As well as having a fenced backyard, I also have a friendly dog that your pets can play with during their stay with me. It is also possible for me to come to your house if that is more convenient for you.
19. Melissa & Alan G.
“Melissa was great! She followed through and communicated very well upon each visit with comments and photos. My cat runs away from strangers, and upon meeting him, she immediately sat down to appear less threatening. He stopped and watched her. She is adaptable and intuitively knows how to be with animals.”
20. Chip S.
“Chip took excellent care of my two dogs over four days. He took them on daily walks and sent me text updates and pictures on how they were doing. His kind caring of them made all of us comfortable and gave me peace they were in good hands while I was away. They came home happy dogs!!”
