“This was Kiwi's second doggy daycare experience. She's not a very people-oriented pup (she maybe has the personality of a wolf cat combo), so we wanted to try out a sitter with a built-in pack for her to meet. She's still feeling fairly shy or apprehensive about doggy daycare, but seemed to have a good time nonetheless! She actually ate her dinner, which was a huge surprise since she doesn't even care to eat much when we are on vacation with her. And she spent some time sitting next to Melissa enjoying some pets, which is a pretty affectionate gesture for her. We are looking forward to having her spend some more time with Melissa and Alan in the near future!”

“Janice is a lifesaver!!! We were on our way to the redwood national park and realized that dogs are not allowed on most trails. So we had to find a sitter super last minute and she helped us out! Our dog has separation anxiety and this was the first time he didn’t miss us at all! He had so much fun playing with her dog and the other little dog she was caring for. She is very accommodating and super responsive. She also would send us pictures of our dog throughout the day! I would definitely hire her again and totally recommend her to everyone! About: Available for out of towners. Experience caring for husky’s, pit bulls, the big dogs, and small dogs. Happy to take care of their needs and giving them my time and energy! I check in daily on family members pets. Playing, grooming, walking, and spending time with their pets. I am working part time, with open availability. Fenced yard with a friendly dog as well as a cat that keeps to herself. Not currently boarding at home, but worth considering sometime in the future.

About: I have always been an animal lover. Since my teenage years we had dogs and cats in the house. Over the last 17 years I have lived with and cared for 2 dogs and two cats. Sadly 3 of them have passed on at this point, and It's just myself and my 12 yr old husky mix Suki now. I am only employed on a very part time basis, so I have a fairly open and flexible schedule for dog walking, home visits and boarding on most weekdays, and some weekends. I have a fenced back yard perfect for pets to hang out in, and there is also a covered area in the back yard if the weather is rainy. I would also allow them inside the house, but not on furniture :). I am a very active person, I walk my own dog at least twice a day, and would be happy to walk even more with yours!
