About: I always grew up with pets in my home and loved all of them so much. I have been on Rover for a good amount of time now, having experience with all kinds of dogs, understanding that they have their own unique needs. I am a student athlete trying to make money for college by doing what I love. My schedule changes from week to week but I’m always available 12:00-4:00pm (unless I’m booked). Wednesday is usually my busiest day of the week. Least busy is Monday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday REALLY depend on the week. Some days I’m available all day, others only part of the day but I often flex my schedule. 👍 Since I currently don’t have any pets I will care for your cat/dog as if they are my own with lots of love. I will gladly send picture and video updates of your pet. I’m here because I genuinely love pets.

“I hesitated to write this because it’s so dang hard to find a good dog sitter, let alone two of them, and I don’t to risk Bri and Jamal being booked up, ha! But they deserve the praise. They were fabulous to my dog Stella while I was gone for 9 (!) days, even when she was having stomach issues. Really helped me be able to enjoy my trip. Would absolutely use them again and can’t recommend them enough.”

“If you are searching for a truly fantastic dog and/or cat sitter, then book Adam if he’s available. Your dog will go on lovely walks and your cat will have playtime. They will receive loads of TLC. And you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your time away. The photos Adam sends during his stay are much appreciated. I hope Adam is available next time I go away.”

“We are so lucky to have found Elysia to stay with our dog for a week in our house! Elysia was fantastic and we felt so fortunate to have found her. Our dog, Finnegan, has some health issues and separation anxiety. Elysia had no problem hanging out with Finn at our house and giving him medication throughout the week. She was a wonderful communicator both before and during her visit. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the week. Whenever any issues came up, Elysia reached out right away. We knew Finn was in great hands and we will definitely reach out to Elysia for future stays!”

“Jade was awesome, she stayed the weekend at our place and took care of our senior golden lab while we were away. I was a bit apprehensive since this was our first time leaving him with someone we had just met but Jade put us at ease and did a great job taking care of the Colt and the house, will book again!.”

“Our dog Bogey gets anxious when we're gone and we were excited at the prospect of Deb and her dog Daisy staying at our house for a week while we traveled. We left detailed instructions that Deb read through way in advance, asked us great questions, and kept us posted with pics on how Bogey was doing. Deb went above and beyond communicating, taking care of Bogey, and our home. She truly cares and I feel like Deb and Daisy are now extended members of our family. Thanks, Deb! We appreciate you!”

“Geo did a wonderful job taking care of our cat Luna while we were on vacation. He is very responsible, kind, and caring. Our cat warmed up to him and he spoiled her by playing with her a lot and winning over her trust!”

“Jackie is the absolute best! She takes such amazing care of our fur babies that we don't have a single worry when we are gone and are able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Her sincere love for our pets is very touching! Not only is she great with our pets but she is an awesome house sitter. Would recommend her over and over again to everyone!”

“Nicole, was an amazing sitter. She made sure to come before our booking to see the attitude of the boys and to see if they got along. During her stay, she did communicate and followed all the instructions that we gave to her. The boys seemed to love her. She also sent pictures to us when we were away. Nicole also made sure to clean even though we didn’t ask. We will be booking with her again if possible!”

“Taylor was amazing!!! Not only did she take stellar care of my dogs, including administering ear drops daily, but she went above and beyond. She sent photos of my doggies, which I love. She also washed sheets and towels, remade the bed with fresh linens and ran the dishwasher before she left. I’d hire Taylor again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Taylor!!!”

“Emily stayed at my place for five nights to watch my Aussie, and she was amazing! She kept him happy, gave him lots of love and walks, and sent me updates so I knew he was doing great. I came home to a very happy pup and a house just the way I left it. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

“Rio is a lovely person and an absolutely wonderful sitter! Our initial meeting went better than I could have hoped, which allowed me to feel completely comfortable leaving Elhaz in her hands. During the introduction she asked thoughtful questions about Elhaz and his daily routine, while going above and beyond to connect with him, gently requesting "sit" and "paw" for treats, throwing his ball in the yard, and giving him a little brushing. She was thorough in assessing walk dynamics and how to go about potentially socializing (with people and other dogs), which is so very important when taking a new dog out and about. I also very much enjoyed chatting a bit and getting to know her! Rio is wonderfully communicative, being patient and flexible while I wrapped up my slightly delayed preparations for departure. The handoff went smoothly, and I have no doubt in my mind that they had a lovely time together :) I --certainly Elhaz as well-- appreciated the walks around Whatcom Falls and Lake Padden the two of them went on. Rio provided prompt responses and multiple photo updates of a smiling Elhaz while I was away! Needless to say, I came home to a very content dog. Elhaz and I thank you very much, Rio! We look forward to having you around again in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life, and pets have always been part of my family. Right now, we share our home with a wonderful dog, as well as fish and axolotls. Over the years, I’ve also had cats and other pets, so I understand the different kinds of attention and care each animal needs. When looking after pets, I focus on safety, consistency, and comfort. I know how important it is for them to feel secure and cared for while their people are away. I treat every pet like part of my own family and always aim to provide the same love and respect I give my own animals. I offer flexible scheduling for dog walks and drop-in visits. Whether you need regular daily walks, quick potty breaks, or occasional check-ins, I’ll work with you to create a routine that keeps your pets happy and comfortable. I’m dependable and punctual, and I make sure each visit is focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s exercise, playtime, feeding, or just a little extra love. Clear communication is important to me, so you’ll always know when I’m coming and how your pets are doing. I take both pet safety and home security very seriously. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own—doors are always locked, routines are followed carefully, and your space is left just as I found it. I’m comfortable working independently and know how important it is for you to feel at ease while you’re away. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pets are doing. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pets are happy, safe, and cared for—and that your home is secure until you return.

“Nels is one of the most awesome guys I know. His family and home is caring, loving, and supportive. I would trust him with my home, my pets, and my kids. Not sure if he is a Boy Scout, but I know he’s reliable, respectful, responsible, kind, hardworking, and a great person to be around.”
Ruston pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jacquelyn is wonderful! She took such great care of my two cats and my home while we were away. She checked in everyday with fun photos and took extra care in keeping their area clean as well as leaving the house looking better than when we left. I highly recommend Jacquelyn for pet sitting cats and dogs.

Emily stayed at my place for five nights to watch my Aussie, and she was amazing! She kept him happy, gave him lots of love and walks, and sent me updates so I knew he was doing great. I came home to a very happy pup and a house just the way I left it. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.

Kelsie did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats. Prior to our departure, Kelsie did a great job asking about our cats and taking time to understand their needs. While we were away, Kelsie reached out when she had questions and shared pictures of and updates on the cats. She also kept our plants watered on in good condition on a few exceptionally hot days. We returned home to two happy cats and a clean, well-cared for house. We would definitely hire Kelsie again!

Brian was great. He sent a text and picture everyday and took great care of our cat and dog. We were very anxious about leaving our animals as we have a 16 yo corgi who is now sometimes having accidents. And any extremely shy cat. He was great with both. House looked good when we came back. We now feel better about going out of town.

Sage was fantastic with my senior dog, my cat, and my house. She followed instructions for feeding and potty breaks. She kept me updated throughout each day with details and pictures of my dog and cat. She asked great questions that I hadn’t even considered and was both professional and compassionate. I would absolutely request Sage to care for my pets and house again.
