About: I started out with cats. I've taken care of cats since I was three years old. I wasn't able to get any experience with dogs until more recently, but we've kept friends' dogs in our homes periodically over the past six years and I care for my own sweet pup, Brownie, who has been with us for two years after we pulled her from an abusive situation I'm self-employed and I set my own hours, so my schedule is quite flexible! I only need to be sure to have the mornings to get my kids to school and the afternoons to get them home. I promise to have the utmost respect for your home and the way you want things done. I want to do whatever will make you and your precious pup most comfortable.

About: I’ve had multiple dogs while growing up and am also a proud mom to 2 cats! I also have experience taking care of neighbors, family, and friends pets including feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and playtime! I have experience administering oral medications to cats and dogs. I am energetic and love getting outside to exercise with a furry companion! From zummies to cuddles, I am here to give your pet the attention it wants. I will also gladly send your picture and video updates of your pet. My schedule is very flexible now. I am a PA with an extensive healthcare background, not currently working as my next contract starts in the fall so I can visit your pet whenever is best for their schedule. I will respect your house as if it were my own. Your pet’s safely is my top priority and I will ensure that I follow any instructions given exactly and notify you if anything is off.

About: I grew up with two dogs, one very shy and one very happy but scared of other dogs. Both sadly passed due to illnesses; therefore, I have experience in caring for sick pets. I have dog walked in the past with a variety of dog sizes and breeds. I am a graduate student (2 evening classes a week + workload) and work part-time (~10 hours weekly). Pet care will fit in around school and work, but I stay on top giving me free time to help out fellow pet parents. I have experience with an anxious dog and currently an anxious cat so I am able to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I like to allow the pet to get comfortable with me in their own way and time and only greet them in small bits (i.e., letting them sniff my hand a few times before petting). I am organized to ensure pets have what they need before I leave (whether my own cat or for client's pets).

About: I have grown up with dogs consistently and I currently have a pitbull mix and 2 chihuahuas. I work part-time at a kennel within a vet clinic which has allowed me to experience feeding, walking, and bathing a variety of cat and dog breeds and many personalities! I am currently a student at ODU and have a part time job at taste, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I love animals and enjoy being able to do this in my free time! I am able to care for pets in the comfort of their own home by taking them for walks, feeding them, making sure they have water, and plenty of play time. I also will maintain open communicate with the pet owner and am available to water plants, bring in mail, or anything else needed!

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life and many cats. Your pet will be loved and played with by me and my two homeschooled, pet loving boys. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I'm homeschooling my children. I'm available most weekdays and some weekends. I'll be home with your pet most of the time. I have a small fenced yard and well behaved pets are welcome in my home. I have two cats. They can be separated from pets we're boarding if needed.

About: I've cared for all the pets in my family since I can remember and studied animal behaviors since 1st grade along with learning training methods that build trust and respect between pets and handlers. I can handle puppies to seniors and have never met an animal that doesn't like me. I finished a master dog trainer course just to better understand how to take care and train dogs. I'm constantly learning new ways of training and teaching pets since they're all different! I have a schedule set for my pets and follow it while knowing mistakes will happen from time to time. I just finished a dog training school so I can taking care of dogs is a daily thing for me. I treat pets like humans, respect their wants and needs, listen to what they have to say, and set proper boundaries. Building trust with a pet or any animal will always be my first step to care for them.

About: I have had and loved dogs since Kindergarten at home and began dog sitting in college! Growing up as an older sibling and a dog owner, I have a strong maternal instinct and am very protective of keeping pets I watch safe. I am also very active so I am eager and willing to get your dog moving if needed, but have also dogsat milder dogs who just want lower key comfort and care. I am a new law graduate hoping to continue spending time with animals. I am available weekdays and weekends to spend ample time with your pet! I have dogsat/walked at others’ homes before and am conscious of leaving the space as I found it or communicating if any issues arise. I have stayed overnight in clients’ homes to take care of and play with their dogs for up to 10 days and also have just done daily walks/play time! I am familiar with the particularities of dogs.

About: I have always been around various animals and have had multiple dogs/cats/rabbits - my entire life. I have tons of experience watching either friends or family members dogs/cats during extended periods of time. (Vacations/ out of town) . Long walks and play time are always a top priority. Dogs are part of your family, and they should be treated as such when work or vacations come into play. Endless snuggles and attention will be given while your pets are in my care. *** Update for AUGUST *** Tuesday, August 26th I have early morning availability ( 6am-9:30 am ), Thursday, August 28th I will have evening availability ( 6:30pm - 10:30 pm ) and Sunday, August 31st I will be available from 2:30pm - 10:30pm ) Monday, September 1st ( Labor day ) I am available all day *** I have a full time position working from home. My availability is 5:15pm - 10pm , Monday through Fridays. Every Saturday and Sunday I have open availability besides my blocked dates. Most holidays I will be available also! Looking to add in morning time availability during the week in the near future. I am available to house sit, dog walk, or do drop in visits. I will follow your pets daily routine as closely as I can whether it be feeding times, walk schedule, playtime. I will provide plenty of attention and affection to your pets while you are away! I always have my watch or phone on me for constant communication. Due to me adopting a new German Shepard puppy I cannot board in my home yet.

About: I have a genuine love for animals- I have two cats, who feel like my children, and I grew up with dogs, a snake, and bearded dragons. I'd love to walk, bathe, play with and care for your pet, and am happy to stay at your house to watch them while you're away. I have no problem doing what's asked of me to meet your pet’s needs! My day job currently makes me unavailable from 9-5:30 Monday through Friday. However, outside of those times, I am happy to drop in and care for your pets! Downtown Norfolk area is especially convenient for me. I will keep an attentive eye on your pet at all times. I will also pay special attention to any instructions given to me to ensure the safety of your pet, like keeping them inside or in a certain part of the house.
