I recently lost my other cat a few weeks before I left for vacation, and Stephanie came twice a day, every day, and made sure my remaining cat, Marley, was kept company and alright through his grief and my absence. I’m pretty sure Marley likes Stephanie more than he likes me now!! During her check ins Stephanie sent tons of photos and videos of him and it was something I looked forward to everyday. About: For as long as I can remember I've been around animals and loved it. Growing up, my family had 2 medium sized dogs that I was responsible for helping walk and feed. Since then, I've had cats of my own to care for and have helped babysit many cats and dogs for my friends, family, coworkers, etc. I work full time during the week for a solar company so I am available for house visits on weekends and some week days after 6pm. When gaining an animals trust, I always take it at their pace. I do my best to adapt to individual needs and notice their usual habits in case of changes. Most importantly, I make sure they have a good balance between playtime, affection, and having their own space when needed.

She takes him out, refills his water bowl and makes sure he is happy :) she also sends me photo updates every time too :)”

My human was away traveling internationally for three whole weeks (which felt like nine lives to me), but Nathan made sure I never felt alone. He visited me twice a day, every morning and evening like clockwork. He played with me, gave me yummy treats, and even made sure my toys were right where I liked them. He vacuumed my space (yes, I noticed!) and kept my feeding area clean and cozy. Most importantly, he loved on me—gently, patiently, and with care that made me feel safe. About: I grew up always having at least one dog in my home, I now have two. I was tasked with feeding, walking, and playing with them. Often times when neighbors and friends would go out of town I would look after their pets, staying at their house when needed. I am currently a nanny during the week which leaves me with a flexible schedule during the day and I am almost always available after 3pm. On the weekends I go away, but I can likely be available if requested. When caring for someone’s pet I always make sure to follow the instructions given. This can rang from their diet, to their bathroom / walking schedule, to whatever else they may need.
