About: Our family would love to spend time with your dog! We had a Shitzu Llaso Apso for the last 15 yrs, but he passed away. We're not quite ready to adopt another dog but he left a serious hole. We'd be ever so grateful for you to lend us your pup to soak up our attention! Brenda has had dogs her whole life. From puppies to old buddies. We'll take your instructions seriously and make sure your dog is happy and loved. Dogs under 40 lbs are the best fit for our space and we limit our pup sitting capacity to two pets at a time. If your pet needs 1 on 1 care just let us know and we'll do our best to arrange it! We have two kids (12 & 14) who went to the"PET" (Pet Education Training) class at OMSI last summer and are serious about treating your dog well. We love to play at the park and go for neighborhood walks! Or just hang out in our fenced yard if that's your buddy’s speed. Reach out, we'd love to meet your pup fur-real! I work part-time from home and loves the energy that dogs bring to my workday. We have a fenced yard and love going for walks. We have experience with dogs of all ages, though we aren't taking puppies at the moment. If you have any questions just text/call us at anytime during your dogs stay.

About: I am COVID vaccinated and perfectly happy to mask up for meet and greets. I have 13+ years experience with a difficult and anxious dog. Im able to provide a calm presence for nervous/fearful dogs and I have years of experience with administering oral medications. I’ve had pets my whole life, ranging from cats to dogs to hamsters to rats. I work full time during the day, but I am able to do morning and evening check ins for your pets. I’m a daily cat box scooper in my own home. My weekend availability it higher for longer visits as needed. I am a big fan of maintaining as normal of a schedule as possible for your pets. I’m happy to indulge any quirks (I’ve wiped bottoms after potty breaks) that your pet may have so we can have the best experience together.

“Thank you so much Blake! Blake was great. He took my booking request even though it was last min. He made time to come visit before hand and meet my cat and get a lay of the land. About: I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for the last 5 years and in a shelter environment for the last 6-7 years. I am very comfortable working with animals in varying conditions of health and behavior, even receiving my fear-free certification for animal handling in 2021-2022. I am always willing to work with you to make this the most comfortable experience for you and your pet and will always maintain open communication! I work T-F 7-5:30 so I am open any day after work and have open availability Saturday-Monday for the most part. Sometimes my schedule may change and if services are needed outside of these hours you can check in and we could work something out. I am willing to stay in the home with your pet to make it a more comfortable and less stressful experience for your pet as a change in environment can be stressful to animals. I am willing to do this during the week if your location works with my job location in NE Portland.

About: I’ve owned or fostered Cane Corso, Mastiffs, Labs, and more. I take my two Labs for walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks. One is epileptic, the other has an insatiable appetite for snacks, but both are happy and healthy. Available throughout the week for walks, check ins, and overnight sitting. Flexible with requests, and comfortable with all kinds of animals. Will communicate in a timely manner with updates and photos. I care for pets in the clients home because I have my own. Clients should communicate any instructions related to their pet and/or home and I will provide them courteously.

About: It's no secret that I love animals more than people (no offense). There is something so pure and uncomplicated about the bonds we form with our pets, and leaving them behind is never easy, no matter the reason. When your bestie needs a buddy, you'll want a sitter who is not only present in the room, but present in the moment; someone you can trust to be just as attentive to their emotional needs as their physical ones. As a member of your pet's care team, I consider myself to be an extension of their family. My priority is to foster a comfortable, engaging, and loving environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I strive to be the next best thing to having you there, and to provide consistent communication and trustworthy service that enables you to travel stress-free. I have been pet sitting and dog walking professionally since 2017 through Rover, and work part time as a Pet Care Professional with Hot Diggity Dog Walking. With nearly 60 rave reviews and over 20 repeat clients, I am proud to have been among the first to achieve Rover's "Star Sitter" status, a distinction which "highlights sitters with a track record of highly rated care for pets and responsible, reliable service for pet parents." I am certified in first aid and CPR via ProTrainings, and have over 30 years of pet ownership experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, and horses. I have experience working with different ages and temperaments, including those anxious, hesitant, young, elderly, and/or injured pets who may benefit from having some extra care and thoughtfulness built into their routine. I am comfortable administering medications, and I'm happy to work with your pet on any specific training regimens you have in place, to maintain consistency in their education and environment. If this feels like a good fit for you, please reach out with a bit about your pet and their specific needs, and we can compare calendars to schedule a meet-and-greet. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your furry family member(s)! I am a full-time pet care provider, and intentionally spend as much of my time at home with your pet as I can, to minimize anxiety while their people are gone. I will occasionally need to leave for a couple of hours here and there to visit my regular dog walking clients during the day, or to attend band practices or other commitments in the evenings, but I do my best to prioritize quality time with the animals in my care. I like to maintain your pet's typical routine as closely as possible, as I find the familiarity and consistency keeps them feeling calm. Depending on their needs and energy levels, we'll have a balance of indoor play time, walks around the neighborhood, and cuddle time. Rest assured I will be loving on them as if they are my own pets! This is how I meet my own needs as an animal-obsessed touring musician whose travel schedule doesn't allow for personal pet ownership. :)
