“Andrea was amazing with our dog Maya! She was so flexible with our schedule even as it got closer to the dates she was sitting. She communicated well and often before and during so that we felt comfortable. Highly recommend her!”

“This was my 1st time leaving my dog for a long weekend and I couldn’t have chosen a better caregiver for him. My Murphy is a rescue & has some anxiety issues but Jo handled him with patience, understanding and love. She tapped in to her knowledge of dogs and put both myself & Murphy at ease. She tried a few new toys/treats with him which he loved and sent me plenty of pics and videos of Murphy throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.”

“Loren is so wonderful with our dog while we are away. She is responsive and sends updates! We are able to enjoy some vacation knowing that our doggo is in good hands withe Loren!”

“Renee is great. Simple as that. Our sometimes tweaky, neurotic terrier, Molly, loved every minute with her housesitter. Renee was thorough, attentive, playful, and giving. She went above and beyond to ensure Molly got all the snuggles, walks, required meds, and love she so needs. I don’t think she wanted her week with Renee to end. Renee is personable, on top of things, and clean. Was my home cleaner when I got back? Holy cow, it was. Thanks Renee. Book her now before I do, again and again.”

“Adam is the best house guest and pet buddy. I know he is loved and adored because he gets the same pile on treatment we do as evidenced by the photos he has sent. He leaves the home immaculate and is very timely, caring, and communicative.”

“Andrew did a great job with updating us on how our pets were doing. Kratos seemed to enjoy his company. Overall very satisfied with his care and Andrew went above and beyond what we asked of him.”

“I can’t recommend Kassie enough. She was prompt and thorough at communicating before an almost two week stay with my two needy doggos. During the trip she sent pictures, solved problems and left the house in perfect order. We will definitely call Kassie whenever we travel.”

“Annette is absolutely wonderful! She stayed at our house for 4 nights taking care of our 11 year old Indie with care. She is trustworthy, which made me feel comfortable with her staying at our house. Annette sent us pictures throughout her visit, which was much appreciated. I would book her again in a heartbeat.”

“Sara was great! She stayed at our place and watched Floyd over a long weekend. Sara took great care of Floyd—walking him several times a day, giving him his meds twice a day, and feeding him his special food. She is good with senior, high energy dogs! Sara also brought in our mail and kept our condo tidy and clean. We highly recommend Sara and would trust her again to watch our dog for extended time! Thank you!”

“Mia did a great job of caring for Ernie. She complied with all of our requests and we could see that she is truly a dog lover. Our dog Ernie loved her right off the bat during our meet and greet. Mia replied to all of our texts promptly with a pic of Ernie to put our minds at ease. We would definitely book Mia again!”

“Veronica stayed at our house overnight to watch our dog Maggie for a week. She sent lots of updates and was very responsive. She offered to take out our trash on garbage day and left our house spotless. We will surely use her again!”

“Eva did a great job looking after our pets and house. House was tidy and pets happy on our return. One of our dogs is disabled and uses a wheelchair, and she even took extra time to learn how to get her harnessed up correctly. Great job and will rebook in the future!”

About: I am a young professional originally from Park Ridge, IL. Ever since I was born, I have had a dog in my household. Currently, my parents have two Great Pyrenees named Harry + Sally (Sally is in my profile picture). I really love dogs (the bigger the better) and would love the chance to take care of dogs while being home this holiday season. I am very friendly, caring, and pay close attention to what makes each dog happy. I have a flexible, hybrid work schedule that allows time for pet care. I current live and work in New York but am back in Park Ridge for the holiday season. My building allows pets so I would be happy to house pets as necessary. I am also willing to make consistent visits to the clients home if that is preferable for each of us.

About: Hey there! I am an animal loving teacher who has taken care of my families and friends doggies for over 10 years. I love taking care of my loved ones pets/family members like they are my own. I am currently on summer vacation and have a lot of time play and care for your best friends. During the school year I work from about 8-3:30. Starting in November, I will have a two bedroom condo in a Chicago neighborhood that has tons of great streets for long walks and dog parks near by!

“Elizabeth the was the BEST! She stayed at our condo with our son (4 year old pittie) and he couldn’t not have been happier. We got daily updates, frequent pictures, and she followed all of his (dramatic) preferences including specific diet restrictions, supplements, and his daily routine of bathroom/play/sleep! We cannot wait to work with Elizabeth again- Ovie loved her and I truly think he was sad to see us come home, haha!”

Our pup was so loved and cared for while we were out of town! We got lots of adorable photos and updates! Right before we left our pup had some diarrhea from a recent vet appointment. Tara made sure to keep us informed of how Piper was feeling better and eating which was such a relief. Would absolutely recommend Tara for dog sitting and we already plan on booking her for our next trip!

Mary took great care of my home and 16 year old cat while I was out of town. This was my first time using Rover and I was very impressed by Mary's prompt reply to my request and she completely put me ease during the meet and greet. My cat was very well taken care of and the house was just as it was when I had left it. I highly recommend Mary and I would absolutely hire her again in the future!

Loren made our first experience with Rover a great one! She was punctual, responsive, and very respectful throughout the entire stay. We really appreciated the photo updates during house sitting, and she took such wonderful care of Odie. We’re so glad we booked with her—thank you so much, Loren! Hope to see you again soon!

Emma took excellent care of Ruby (and our house) while we were away. She communicated extremely well and kept us updated so we knew Ruby was well taken care of. She even watered our plants for us too. We would recommend Emma to anyone who needs a trusted, communicative dog sitter.

Add did a good job as a sitter taking care of our senior dog with lots of anxiety. She was a good companion for him, especially for overnight stays. This was a much better experience for him than the last drop-off sitter we used. Ann took care of our house and followed most of our instructions very well.

Traci is hands down one of the best sitters we have ever had. We’ve had multiple sitters before, all of whom provided a good experience, but Traci truly went above and beyond while caring for our little pup for almost a month. We were never worried about him. She took excellent care of him, trained him, gave him baths, and ensured that he was comfortable and healthy while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our pet.

Ellie was fantastic with taking care of our two cats while my wife and I were out of town for a few days. She did everything that anybody would want for their pets and provided constant updates. Ellie is completely trustworthy and was extremely loving with our cats. She helped eliminate a ton of stress for us during our trip. Thanks, Ellie!!!

Anibeth is an amazing find! I was so worried about leaving my 15 year old senior dog with medical needs with a sitter but I need not have worried. Anibeth was very responsible, communicative, and caring. I returned to a happy, healthy dog (who even got free massages from her) and as I received frequent updates, I didn't have to worry during my trip. She also left my house in excellent condition, and even helped organize my messy kitchen pantry. Thanks Anibeth for your loving care!

I am blown away by the overall customer service, attention to detail and level of care that Ellie gave to our pups while we were gone for 7 days. She communicated so well that I felt like I knew exactly what was happening. My pups were so content with her and the schedule she followed. Ellie followed all instructions completely. We came home to a tidy house and a thank you note with pics of the doggies! I won't book anyone else. Thank you Ellie!! You really are the best.
