About: While I’m new to dog sitting, I bring a lot of patience, a love for animals, and a strong willingness to learn. I’m dependable and will follow your care instructions closely. I may not have years of experience, but I’ll treat your dog like family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Currently, I have a flexible summer schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. At the end of August, I’ll return to full-time work as a paraprofessional, but I’ll still be available during the evenings and weekends. I’m committed to working with your schedule to ensure your pet gets consistent, loving care. Although I don’t have much experience yet, I make up for it with a genuine love for animals, a careful approach, and a strong willingness to learn. I follow all instructions closely to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll provide gentle care, attention, and respect for your pet’s routine and your space.

About: My name is Megan and I currently live in San Francisco, CA. I would love to provide care for your dog. I am an experienced previous dog owner and experienced pet sitter. I am able to board, feed, walk, and any other necessary care. I am also open to taking care of any other pets you have (cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons are some of the pets that I have experience with caring for). Please feel free to contact me here or at the phone number provided if you are interested. Thank you! I teach at a school that is three blocks from my house from 9am-4:30pm, so I can come home for lunch break walks if needed. I can walk dogs before and after school and let the dog into my backyard garden at any time. On the weekends, I can take dogs to the beach or on other fun outdoor adventures! I have taken care of people’s’ pets in a number of ways. I have stopped by people’s’ houses for care, boarded pets, and stayed overnight in pets’ homes.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs (Schnauzer, Labrador, 3x Jack Russell, 2x Border Collie, 2x Irish Setter) since I have a memory. Today, I take care of my three year old Vizsla and on occasions my friend’s dogs: German Shorthaired Pointer and a Mexican Hairless Dog (both every active and energetic breeds). For daycare and bording your dog will enjoy 4-8 hours of time outside of the house EVERY DAY: walks, dog park visits, hikes, beach day, etc. I’m currently in a break from the corporate life and spend a ton of time walking through Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, Ocean and Baker beach. For overnight bording I’d meet your furry friend in advance. At home I have a fenced yard. For walks we go to the beach, meadows and dog parks.

About: I’ve been a professional dog groomer for over 7 years, and before that I spent 2.5 years working at an animal shelter. Those experiences gave me not only hands-on knowledge with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, but also a deep understanding of how to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. What sets me apart is the unique combination of my professional grooming background and my shelter experience. I know how to handle pets with different personalities from shy rescues who need extra patience, to high energy pups who crave play and engagement. For me, caring for dogs isn’t just a side job, it’s a passion. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel loved, secure, and well cared for at all times. Because my grooming schedule is only 3–4 days a week, I have extra time that I’d love to dedicate to helping care for your pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just making sure they feel safe and loved, I’m here to give them the attention they deserve. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities, both in the grooming salon and outside of it. I believe every pet should feel happy, secure, and cared for like they’re part of the family.

“Mick was a great drop in cat sitter. He was quick and responsive and always punctual. Our cats take a while to warm up to people so they didn't develop a close bond with Mick. However, the important thing is they were well fed and energetic when we came back from vacation.”

About: I’ve raised two puppies, one on my own. I have had two dogs of my own since I was 23 going on 5 years now. I have pet sat for over a decade starting when I was 17. I have taken care of hospice greyhound dogs to ten pigeons to cats, and bunnies. I helped co-parent my friend’s dog for the first three years of her life. I fully trained my own puppy. I’ve pet sat 3 dogs at once with my own. I fostered two dogs in my space both for stings over 3 months before rehoming them in very safe and loving homes. I am currently unemployed for the next month and a half while I await my next job and have plenty of time as a result. I would prefer to work as much as possible. I vet all animals heavily. I have a mandatory 30 min walk prior to even committing to boarding with all dogs and owners involved. I refuse to take any dogs that my dogs do not get along with at the meet and greet. Safety is imperative for all parties involved including myself and my own dogs. My dogs are muzzled the entire time we have animal guests over.

“Carmen was fantastic! She took great care of our cat while we were gone. She was attentive and very good with communicating with us about how Dolly was doing. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Natalia was a good companion for my granny cat, Mahala, during a recent vacation. Natalia kept in touch during her daily visits and sent me pics. When I got back from a week-long trip, my cat was well-adjusted and didn’t seem lonely at all, thanks to the hour long daily visits from Natalia.”

Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I’ve also volunteered at multiple pet adoption centers, where I learned to connect with dogs of all temperaments and needs. Whether it’s giving extra patience to a nervous pup or matching the energy of a playful one, I’m here to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Every pet in my care is treated like family—because that’s what they are. I currently have an open and flexible schedule, so I’m available most days and times—including weekends! I'm older and go to sleep by 8:30 :) When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I tailor my approach based on the pet's needs, comfort, and the service being provided.

About: Hey there, I am new to Rover but not new to caring for pets. I’ve cared for housemates pets throughout my college career and as an adult. Looking forward to taking care of your special furry loved ones :) Message me for any questions, comments or concerns. I currently work in person in SF and Oakland. I am typically off work at 3:30, I can do check ins and walks between 6-7:00 and after work. I care for pets by having a good initial encounter with them and their owner. Although I love animals, I know the importance of first impressions and making sure I respect their space in their home.

About: My partner and I are excited to watch your fur baby! We have no kids or dogs of our own so your pup will our undivided attention and care. Both of us grew up with dogs and realized how much we missed them after watching all of our friends dogs. We have a large furby-proofed home with gates and doors. We have everything your dog may need including dog bowls, leashes, playpens and even a crate. All you have to bring is your pups food, toys, and/or favorite blanket if they have one. The BART Station and 280 freeway exit are just a few blocks away so you can easily drop off and pick up your dog, especially if it’s on route to/from SFO. We are always happy to do a meet and greet in our home to make sure that both you and your furby are comfortable with us. We both work from home so there is always someone around to keep your furbies company all day long and let them out every few hours for bathroom breaks. It also means we’re very flexible with pickup and drop off times around your plans. We live in a detached home with a fully fenced yard. Your fur baby will have full reign of the yard to zoom around and play in. On nice days we leave the backdoor open so your pup can nap and sunbathe on the porch as they please.

“Greg is great with our cats, adapting to their specific needs and following all of our feeding and care instructions. Appreciate his services and provides great comfort to our animals.”
