“Amy was very communicative and helped us out last minute to take Blue on a walk. We highly recommend and look forward to working with her again”

About: I’ve had multiple dogs while growing up and am also a proud mom to 2 cats! I also have experience taking care of neighbors, family, and friends pets including feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and playtime! I have experience administering oral medications to cats and dogs. I am energetic and love getting outside to exercise with a furry companion! From zummies to cuddles, I am here to give your pet the attention it wants. I will also gladly send your picture and video updates of your pet. My schedule is very flexible now. I am a PA with an extensive healthcare background, not currently working as my next contract starts in the fall so I can visit your pet whenever is best for their schedule. I will respect your house as if it were my own. Your pet’s safely is my top priority and I will ensure that I follow any instructions given exactly and notify you if anything is off.

“Brendan was wonderful with my dog and was great at communicating. I felt like my dog was in good hands and I would highly recommend him to anyone!”

About: I grew up with two dogs, one very shy and one very happy but scared of other dogs. Both sadly passed due to illnesses; therefore, I have experience in caring for sick pets. I have dog walked in the past with a variety of dog sizes and breeds. I am a graduate student (2 evening classes a week + workload) and work part-time (~10 hours weekly). Pet care will fit in around school and work, but I stay on top giving me free time to help out fellow pet parents. I have experience with an anxious dog and currently an anxious cat so I am able to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I like to allow the pet to get comfortable with me in their own way and time and only greet them in small bits (i.e., letting them sniff my hand a few times before petting). I am organized to ensure pets have what they need before I leave (whether my own cat or for client's pets).

“I was extremely nervous about using rover my Koda is 70Ibs and absolutely insane in the best possible way. Tyler reassured and explained to me how everything was going to work. When tyler came to the door Koda was in protective mode, thankfully tyler didn’t get scared off instead he suggested a new approach to them meeting and once Koda sniffed him he immediately let tyler take the leash! He was amazing and I will definitely be scheduling with him again!”

About: I have loved dogs since I was a toddler! My first dog was a golden retriever mix and later I grew up with Yorkies and other small to medium-sized breeds. I currently have one fur-baby (Adonis) and he is a social butterfly! I believe our four-legged companions are family, which is why I'm dedicated to treating them with care and respect so they know they are loved. Adonis has his bedroom (The Doggie Suite) and would love to share his space with happy friends to play with! Working remotely from home allows me to accommodate our fitness goals. Adonis walks at least twice a day (morning and evening) and runs around in the yard in between. We enjoy exploring new and larger spaces throughout Hampton Roads such as various parks, beaches, and other safe & clean areas that promote healthy living. Most of our longer, more adventurous walks take place on the weekends. Due to my current full-time occupation, I am working in the office once per week on Wednesdays only. If you need a visit throughout the week, WEDNESDAYS are the only days I am not physically home for most of the day (8am-6pm). I work remote all other weekdays and I am off on weekends. We have a fenced-in backyard for playtime or potty breaks. I can accommodate any specific routines regarding meals or medication that your loved ones need. Even though we do love music & movement, we keep the volume at a peaceful level and live in a non-smoking atmosphere. Whether your pal enjoys having their own space with quiet time or lots of cuddles with belly rubs, we have just the place they need. We hope you will allow your fur-baby (or fur-babies) to visit us for a relaxation session or an active adventure!

About: Animals are my passion. Treating each and every fur baby like my own, you will not only be more than satisfied with my care, but your fur baby will be too. My name is Danielle and throughout the week I am strictly a pet walker/pop in and pop out sitter. The weekends is when the party starts! Saturday and Sunday I am available to walk multiple times a day, pet sit, and anything in between. After Pet safety, following your fur baby’s rules/schedule is my number one priority. Whether I am in my home or yours, your pet will be loved on, fed, and retuned back with wags!

“Jacqueline (aka Lina) is the pet equivalent of a servant leader. Not only does she have professional experience as a dedicated military service member, but she is also a trusted animal caretaker among friends and family. Her own cat lives like a king, and frankly I'm jealous of any pet in her care. She works in a community which relies heavily on animal care for fur babies, and I know any pet in her care has received nothing but pure love, strict adherence to schedule and regiment, and maybe even a little worship.”

Was available last minute when no one else was to help me out when my sitter canceled last minute. Even asked if my Jerry can gave a treat after his walk. Thanks Larry!

CeCe was amazing! She was communicative and made the whole process easy. She walked our dogs and fed them. I’ve never seen our girls so happy and content, they must have really loved her! We will definitely be hoping to book her again in the future.

Tyler did an amazing job with Bandido and was able to reunite my neighbors loose dog with his owner...Tyler is friendly, kind, compassionate and I was proud to witness his love for animals...definitely will use him again. Thank you so much

Tori has been absolutely wonderful! I booked her for weekly visits with my girl Maeve & I have felt so comfortable knowing Maeve has been in great hands. She’s super communicative & respectful. I’m thrilled to have met her & i’m sure Maeve is too!

I can't speak highly enough of Jackson as a dog walker he’s truly exceptional and also as a person. From the very beginning, he has shown an incredible level of compassion and understanding toward my two fur boys, treating them with the same care and attentiveness I would expect from family. His genuine love for animals is evident in every interaction, and my dogs absolutely adore him. Jackson is consistently punctual and dependable, which gives me tremendous peace of mind knowing that my pets are in safe and capable hands. He communicates clearly, provides regular updates, and often goes the extra mile to make sure the dogs are happy, exercised, and well looked after. Out of all the dog walkers I’ve hired over the years, Jackson stands head and shoulders above the rest. His professionalism, warmth, and dedication make him an irreplaceable part of our lives and I consider myself lucky to have found someone so trustworthy and caring.

Alyssa jumped right in when we needed a short-term dog walker and was wonderful to work with! Punctual, kind, and great with our dog.

Amazing experience. Needed an emergency, last-minute walk… could not have asked for better responsiveness and communication!

George always does a great job walking out pup, she has so much fun with him! He's a great communicator and very attentive to our dog whenever he walks her.

Allysha was able to do a last minute dog walk for my dog Pig, who absolutely loved his walk. She was on time and sent plenty of pics of his walk around the neighborhood.

Thank you soooooo much!!!!!! It felt really good to be able to leave our babies and know that they were with someone as caring and great as you. We can home to our pets just way we left them. We would mos def love to use your services again. I hope our fur babies treated you with love.

As always, Ryan is incredibly accommodating and always takes such great care of Nelson. Always prompt, responsive, and communicates frequently when he’s caring for Nelson. Thanks again!

Julia has been AMAZING in caring for my nervous rescues during my long work day. When we had our meet and greet, Julia was very oriented to safety details and receptive to info on how I manage my dogs’ nerves. I totally trust that she will work with my pups at their pace- I can see in the rover pet reports she leaves, that she follows my dog’s lead on walks and is attuned to her comfort level. As a newish rover customer, I am so beyond grateful to have found Julia on here!!

Great interaction with Karyn on our first drop-in. My dog barb was asleep next to Karyn within the first 10 minutes! Will use again!

Jessica was great with Charlie. He seemed happy and tired after his walk with her. She also shared pictures of their walk and a detailed report. I’ll definitely use Jessica again.
