About: I love and grew up around dogs- my family had a husky, a mutt, and a yellow lab. Since college I’ve dogsat for a number of family friends, neighbors, Rover dogs, etc. I’ve house sat, cared for, and walked dogs of all ages and conditions, from puppies and house training, to dogs with anxiety, to dogs recovering from surgery, to old dogs who require lots of patience and love and often have additional medical conditions. I’ve also house sat for cats (typically when house sitting for a dog as well), so very comfortable with cat care too. Also not scared of big dogs- they are some of the best! My current job and travel schedule don’t allow for having a dog full time, so until then I’ve got you covered for weekend trips! Melissa walked our GSD Female every day for a couple of weeks. She arrived on time each day. Our pup was super excited to see her each day! Our girl is really quite challenging on walks; while she has a great heel she can be dog reactive which requires an alert, responsible, and strong walker. Melissa did a great job. We'll definitely be booking Melissa next time we need a walker!
Anna has been great for our pup and did not disappoint with her performance! Over the course of the summer we used Anna as a regular addition to the walk routine and she integrated into our walking style very well. With a high energy and strong willed dog, it is always a process to make sure someone is a good fit. Anna was able to fit into the role he needed and take him on long and stimulating walks. We are very appreciative of her efforts, consistency, amazing communication, and most importantly reliability. Anna never cancelled or caused any stress about showing up on time for walks. It was a huge boost to our peace of mind with the dog. Next time we need a walker this year or moving forward, Anna will be the top of the list! Isabel was great with my 3 Portuguese Water Dogs. I immediately could see how comfortable and experienced she was with my 3 babies. The best part, she ran with them!
