About: Hi! I’m Jessica, I've been a pet owner for over 15 years and have cared for both dogs and cats throughout that time. I have also had the pleasure of caring for our neighbors' pets, and we currently share our home with two friendly, well-loved cats. What sets my home apart is the personalized, one-on-one care I provide. I am the sole caregiver responsible for every aspect of your dog's stay, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, administering medication (if needed), and providing individualized attention. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time, so your pup will receive my full attention in a comfortable environment. This is a family household where my husband and I live with our four children (ages 8, 5, and 2-year-old twins). The children are always supervised around visiting pets, and I remain the only person responsible for your dog's care. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they're being treated with the same love and care we'd want for our own pets. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! I work from home two days each week and structure my schedule to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. On the other three days, your dog will be let out in the morning and walked if time allows. I get back to the house around 5pm and will resume caring for your dog like they are my own. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time to provide a low-stress environment. Dogs are welcome on the furniture if that's what they're used to at home, and I'll do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a family household, young children will be present, but I am the sole caregiver responsible for all pet care and supervision throughout your dog's stay.

“I have never had better place to leave my sweet Apollo, he had an excellent time! Kelsey & Conor were sending updates and images constantly. I would highly recommend them!”

“Anjali took very good care of my pups while I was away. She messages back quickly with correspondence. She also sent pic updates, which I love and appreciates so much. I highly recommend this rover sitter. Her son also had a lot of fun playing with one of my pups. All and all, very positive experience. Thank you!”

“Gloria was so great and took care of our doggies last minute. She treated them like her own and made accommodations to everything we asked. We will definitely be using them again!!! Thank you Gloria!!”
“Nazli did a great job watching our cat, Stitch! We needed a sitter who would be able to keep a close eye on him last minute while we were gone for a weekend trip since our cat was recovering from a recent surgery. Nazli was very responsive and accommodating! We appreciated the updates and pictures while we were away. We would be happy to have Nazli watch our cat again!”

“Jennifer is so great to work with! She is very easy-going and accommodating and flexible with last-minute time changes. Most importantly, she took great care of Jake and he was very happy when I picked him up! I will definitely use her again 😊.”

“Aivy was amazing! I can’t say enough positive things. She took the best care of Herbie to the point I didn’t think he was going to want to come home. She sent tons of pictures and loved on him like he was her own.”

“Jeff and family took great care of our girl while we went away for our wedding and honeymoon. He kept us updated with photos throughout the trip and even face timed with us so we could say hi to her. If ever have to go away again we will definitely book him. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches and anyone should feel lucky to use his services. Thank you Jeff and your household for taking such great care of Nymeria!”

“Ashley took really good care of our dog, Bleecker. It was nice to go on vacation knowing he was in good hands and got along with her dog, Chloe. We would definitely use her service again.”

“Monica and Conrad were amazing with Heron, our 5 month old puppy. Heron was so comfortable and had Pongo as a playmate. I knew when we met them before scheduling the boarding that it would work out because Monica and Conrad are kind, caring people who love dogs. Pongo was calm and playful with a new puppy 'roommate.' We received daily photos and a review of the day and previous night. We will definitely book another boarding for Heron with Monica, Conrad and Pongo! Thank you so much!”

“Christine and her husband are wonderful people. I had no doubt my dog was in good hands when I dropped her off. She communicated with me throughout my dog’s stay and responded quickly. She also sent me pictures and videos daily. Her husband even helped me bring the crate and bag to my car when I picked my dog up seeing that I was by myself and would have a hard time carrying it all. Very nice people :)”

“So happy I found this website and Jayanna! She did an amazing job and made my dog feel comfortable, even though she was very nervous around the other dogs at first. Jayanna was patient and caring. She sent us photos and videos throughout the stay without us even having to ask, which gave us great peace of mind. She was also extremely flexible and accommodating, especially since our booking request was made only two hours in advance. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Brittany was absolutely wonderful with our senior dog, Buttons. From the start, it was clear she has a natural warmth and genuine care for the dogs she looks after. She was attentive, patient, and thoughtful throughout the stay. The daily photos and updates were such a great touch and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious Buttons was comfortable, relaxed, and in very good hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for companion and would gladly trust Brittany again anytime.”

“Cindy was very flexible with scheduling and allowing Duke to have a meet and greet prior to our scheduled boarding. Cindy also shared photos and videos during the stay.”

About: I've been taking care of cats ,dogs ,birds fish ,hamsters, turtles since I can remember I just love all animals. Can't wait to meet yours. Recently started watching animals, walking dogs, house sitting full time. Looking to expand my fur baby clientele. But I have been taking care of my fur babies my whole life. I prefer to come over to the client's home so there's no stress on their animals at all. I'm available to sleep over, or just come over let them out give him some cuddles. Whatever is needed to make the fur baby Happy.
“Jill was absolutely wonderful with Charlie and Bailey. She and her fur baby Roscoe made them feel at home. Jill was so helpful, flexible and caring with them. They were administered meds regularly, fed and cared for with great love. Her home was beautiful and very clean but still very conducive to pet care. She was in touch with pics and reports daily and they always looked happy and healthy. She lives very close so that was an extra convenience. I’m excited that we’ve found such a wonderful caregiver so close to home. We will definitely be coming back.”

About: Pet Care Experience I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra love and patience. I’ve helped with walks, feeding, giving meds, and of course plenty of belly rubs and cuddle time. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. What Sets Me Apart I really take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and quirks. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn good habits, supporting an older dog who moves at a slower pace, or sticking to a routine to keep your pup comfortable, I always adjust to what your dog needs. I also pay close attention to little details—like favorite toys, treats, or special instructions—so you can feel at ease knowing your best friend is in caring hands. Since I work from home, I have plenty of flexibility to give your dog the attention they deserve throughout the day. I can easily step away for walks, playtime, or check-ins, and I love having the company of dogs while I work. Whether it’s sticking to a set feeding and potty schedule or adding in some extra cuddle breaks, I’m able to keep your pup’s routine consistent and stress-free. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my care, I make sure they’re in a secure and pet-friendly environment—free of hazards, with plenty of space to relax and play. I always follow your instructions closely, whether it’s diet, medication, or special routines, so your pup feels right at home. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect as I would my own. I keep doors locked, routines consistent, and make sure your dog feels safe and loved until you return. Building trust is important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and quick check-ins to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Laurel
Morgan was a lifesaver after our previous sitter fell through. She was so easy to work with and jumped on a zoom call with us to do a house tour since we couldn’t make a live visit happen before the drop off. She sent us pictures and an update each day which eased our nerves so much. She was definitely a natural with our girl. We appreciate Morgan so much and would rebook her over and over again!

Our experience with Jaclyn has been very successful. The dogs are excited to see us when we pick them up, but not desperate! One of our dogs is super fearful and she still shies away from everyone. This past time, she went over to Jaclyn and sniffed at her feet. That’s her way of saying that she is feeling good about her! That’s might not sound like much to some people, but for her it’s a 5 star review!!

Felix and Daniel are wonderful! They are so responsive and flexible. We had to extend our dog’s stay by one night (at the last second) and they were happy to accommodate. Our dog, Ollie, also gets a ton of outside play time, love, and cuddles when he is there. They send frequent updates as well. Can’t wait to leave him here again.

Caitlin took amazing care of my Louie! She was super accommodating and kept an eye on his upset tummy for me. She gave updates every day and made me feel very at ease while I was away from him. He normally struggles with me leaving but he loved being there! He even tried to go back with her :) I would definitely try to book her again when I need someone.

Mónica is great with my senior dog! He has separation anxiety of we leave him. But with Mónica, he is comfortable and happy to be with her. She provides updates and pictures throughout the pet's stay. It definitely eases my mind knowing that my dog is in good hands. I highly recommend her for your pet!

First time leaving Tucker outside family. Gloria made us feel very comfortable during the process. We had a meet and greet prior to vacation reinsuring us that he was in good hands. Everything went well. We received frequent updates and pictures of Tucker which made our vacation more enjoyable...he was being loved and well cared for. We (Tucker) highly recommend Gloria to take care of your pup.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
